With respect to all, can we please keep this thread for postings CM12(android 5.x lollipop) NIGHTLY/SNAPSHOT issues ? Postings relevant to the thread's title/purpose helps to keep it less confusing to all.
In case needed(for first timer) to ROOT / Bootloader-Unlock / Install Custom Recovery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2450258
Under Settings>About phones>CyanogenMod update, it seems can not retrieve the new available nightly rom information. Is it just me?
I am on 20150112 build.
deleted: prob was that i didnt flash the proper gapps. so did that and now its working fine without a hitch
I’m continuing to use the unofficial CM12 provided by rjwil1086 and the GPS is working on it. He performed a fix identified in this post:

BT Mac address
Anyone else having my issue with the BT mac address being changed to "00:00:00:00:5A:AD"? I had this on CM11 also but it was a different incorrect address and I was able to fix it. I've posted details in my thread for fixing the issue on CM11. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759056#post58131969
Awesome work. Running 1/15 build. Gps was only issue. Great u got it submitted. Thanks a million!
no cellular connection on 1/18 nightly?
I updated my E970 to 1/18 nightly from 1/15 in the usual way and cannot get any cellular connection. not even for phone/texting let alone data.
I'm downgrading to my 1/15 backup now.
I've noticed cm12 seems to take a long time to connect to cellular for me. You did wait long enough right?

I waited much longer than usual. My son just reported the same issue on MotoG. Sounds like a CM12 issue not E970 specific.

same problem for me
***1/18/15 nightly*** Cell/data signal failure, Bluetooth mac problem 00:00:00:00:5a:ad. Intermittent bluetooth a2dp media push. Submitted bug report. Reverted to 1/15/15 nightly backup.
Thanks for hard work guys and girls.
Im on the 1/15 build and Im getting huge battery drain from cell standby even though Im getting good coverage here. This has been the case for most cm12 roms. Tried flashing different kernels and modems but I still keep getting huge cell standby battery drain. Any ideas?
Another strange behavior to report, when using the flashlight option from the quick settings, auto focus seems to be enabled, so my phone is clicking while I'm trying to look at something close up.
I also upgraded from the 13/1 nightly to the 18/1 nightly and I didn't get any cell reception whatsoever. Had to downgrade back to the 13/1.
same problem
issue is with cm12 18th jan nightly as it appears. i was also concerned that something is gone wrong with my phone when i update to 18jan nightly from 14th jan. no cellular network at all!!
however, while searching over web; lots of other users have reported the same issue. hope they will fix it tonight!! cant live without a phone; cant roll back as dont have any backup

This is my take on Mahdi's great ROM. I love his work so all credit goes to him. I just change a little code to build with SM and maybe add a feature here or there(most have been added into the official Mahdi source. So here you go.
FeaturesBuilt with SaberMod
Everything that is in Mahdi
Change the color of heads up
The OTA Center points to my builds
Smoothscroll
more to come
Download: My Server
Main Mirror: Basketbuild
GAPPS: My modified PA with ChromeBeta
Other Mirror: Dev-Host - Although original is faster and more up to date

Stock lockscreen works only on Cyanogenmod-based ROMs e.g. CM11S, nightlies, crDroid, etc.
Mahdi is not based on CM, so your request would be impossible to fulfill

Yup same here dirty flash & running great
Did a clean flash, because it looked interesting. I decided to make it my daily driver for a week and see if it can beat Robbie's custom builds.
Already two (very minor) bugs to report:
1. After every boot the double-tap-2-wake gets checked, although I had it unchecked before rebooting.
2. I use the HW buttons and have the backlight at 0% so they don't intrude. Now, also after every reboot, the backlight value gets reset to 100%. Very easy to fix of course, but hey are issues that (I hope) were not supposed to be there.
Hope this is helpful enough!
-Mats
Also dirty flashed, only wiped system.
So far runs great. It's so fast!!
Thanks!
@TiVON, I'm pretty sure the first bug was reported in the official thread.
Thanks for this ROM !

I confirme this issue and it comes from Madhi 'original'. The same bug
I have a question, why set DPI so low (280) ? It activates the 'tablet mode' ! 300 DPI is better, don't you think so ?

Okay I think I fixed those two problems, we'll see in the next build. I'm trying to figure out why the ota center keeps defaulting to Mahdi's servers even though I have the local and server files I need. I'll build when I figure that out.

What the post above says and...
The only rom so far that installs the kernel is Barren v3.
Or you can get the flashable stock kernel from the Stock ZV4 ROM thread.
I'll be updating all those to include the kernel shortly. I had to wait for Bump to include it.

I did but it wasn't booting no matter what I installed. I just used the LG Flash tool and reverted back to stock and re-rooted, wasn't too horrible.
A bit bummed out that the build doesn't work as of yet. I do have a lot of respect for the developers for the AOSPA projects. Keep up the good work fellas, I have faith in you guys!

Great ROM, the brightness sliding on the status bar is a bit clunky, I would have preferred the original stock style but other then that, looks good so far.
EDIT: Brightness slider was enabled but wasn't showing, so I unchecked/checked and it works now.

Any solution or where is the problem? Is thr any kernal i have to flash?
i can't flash this rom. It stopped in logo. What should i do??? @oadam11
Check your downloads to make sure they are good, guys. Also, how long did you wait when trying to boot - haven't timed it but first boot seems to take a LONG time on this ROM.
Mine booted after at last 5 minutes. It couldn't install minecraft. It reported an error and said to try again later. I still got the same error after rebooting. Don't have the exact message since i don't have the phone with me now.

My concern was the baseband. I'm new to G3 and rooted/recovery with the latest. Didn't known if I'd have an issue flashing a kitkat ROM.
Many thanks for the quick reply.
Question. I'm on Android 5.1.1 and with a different baseband. Do I need to revert back to kitkat baseband in order for me to flash this?

I had no issue flashing on lollipop baseband.
Initial tests showed cellular, WiFi, and GPS all working. I don't have anything Bluetooth or NFC to pair with so I can't comment on those...however, auto brightness did not seem to work for me. YMMV..
Thank you Chevelle. Well done for an initial release.
Damn. Here come the big guns for our device
Installed as secondary rom. Seems to run good. I keep getting a message saying I have insufficient funds to message or something. Haven't looked far into it yet to see what it actually is. It's from me to me lol. Thanks for the rom

Excited to see where this one goes!! Thanks for yet another choice in roms!
This is awesome to have!!! Is the GSM on this working? Where I can add, edit apn to get it working on MetroPCS(T-Mobile) or is this strictly fixed for Verizon?
wish we could get more 4.4.4 ROMS
Running this amazing ROM. So far so good! Issue I've run into since install is that video record with stock camera lead to force close.
Was able to get Mobile connection/data off MetroPCS/T-Mobile. Haven't tried out themes. Will post updates later on today battery life. Again thanks for the ROM!

So far really liking this! It's a little different getting used to, but the only issues I've noticed so far are the following:
- As someone stated previously, video recording in the stock camera app FC's, and auto brightness appears to not work
- My "weather" and "calendar" apps have no icons....they're just completely clear lol
- In settings > additional settings > buttons > custom key position, you can only see 2 out of the 3 keys at any point....making it difficult to reorder if you aren't careful
- In the play store, pretty much every app I download warns me that "this app is very large" and offers to proceed on wifi only. Even though I'm already connected to wifi and already have said yes on 10 other apps lol. This may not be a bug I'm not sure, but just thought I'd throw it out there.
- Finally, I'm sure it might not even be possible, but I already miss dt2s and dt2w lol.... Switching launchers I can at least get dt2s working
Other than that I'm very impressed with this so far, definitely hoping that this continues to get updated on a regular basis!! Thank you so much for your great work on this so far @Chevelle1768!!
Thanks for this rom. Thanks for keeping this great phone alive. Can't wait to where this rom goes.
I keep getting a notification that my Sim card can't be authorized followed by about 20 texts saying I have insufficient funds to send a message. Which is weird cuz I'm texting my girlfriend at the same time. All my phone info is right. I'm logged into my mi account. So I don't know.

We finally did it!
With the help of a guy called alexax66 we ported
CM14.1 to A310f.
There are major bugs like no simple card detected etc.
To get through the setup wizard, skip WiFi and then add once you are in system!
You can root the device by flashing supersu.
DOWNLOAD: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6vI9V6s4jvbZlUyb0JCanJXcTg?usp=sharing DOWNLOAD the 2 files, flash the rom, (it has bigger size) and then the Patch!
This is not a port sorry. It is an unofficial build.
I tried it yesterday and it's really nice, but got RIL problems.
Made by alexax66 on 4PDA.ru according to the updater-script.
Removed SIM and inserted again, but on reboot it was gone.
Flashed gapps and got playstore working. Havn't tried anything else as I had to flash back to working rom.

Yes this is the big problem, no sim card detected.
But this rom is awsome, for exemple we have 8 cores activate and the benchmark score is very good
Hey @DasNuddel can you use this to make one for A510?
I've Found two new bug :
The touch sensors remain backlight when you touch the screen (I don't know if it's a bug but for the batterie...)
the voice recorder slows down the sound when played back.
the rom works great, I could do more testing when the sim card bug is corrected

Excellent work! Can you commit your branch for this to GitHub so devs can lend a hand?
It looks more like a port from J7 lineage. It's made but a russian guy over at 4pda but I haven't seen any thread or sources.

I'll port a new lineage os.. like the ril is kinda boring.

Good luck then.
It may be impossible to make it fully working without building from sources, and not even that is a guarantee to get ril working without bugs.

Out of all people you should know how desperate some of us are for a stock android rom, dear @DasNuddel. I could be a tester for you, or any kind of helper for that matter.
