Hoping someone might be able to help me out of a situation I have with this tablet. I have a AllWinner A33 Tablet running on Android 4.4.2 and what I have done is it the android dev options I changed the runtime from Dalvik to ART, which like normal it said it has to reboot, which it did. And now it gets stuck on the loading screen (does not reboot just stays on loading screen) and goes no further :/ I can find no information on a hard reset at all which is getting me a bit concerned.
I was hoping someone might be able to suggest or point me in the right direction of something I can try to fix this?
Many thanks to anyone that can respond

Hi,
I have an android tablet (I'm not really sure what brand it is, but on the back it says m706b) that does not boot anymore.... it just sits at the "loading..." screen. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? Can I factory reset the device somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I would try to boot into recovery, push different buttons, in different combinations. I could not find a specific one for yours, but it should have one. From there you should be able to factory reset it, which I think should do the trick.
Please thank me if I helped!
Thanks for your suggestion. I have been trying that for the past hour with no result. I was hoping maybe somebody here in the forums would know.
Cheers.
The problem is, that your tablet is not popular..... sorry that it did not work. Good luck getting it to work!
Hit that thank button if I helped!
ok, here is how you do it. Settings> privacy> factory reset.

It won't boot. I need to get into recovery mode.... I just don't know the right button combination. I'm not even sure if there's a stock recovery on this thing either
Thanks,
Harry.

First of all I knew what I was getting into trying to go back to HC after upgrading to ICS. So I tried and now I am in a infinite boot loop and when I go to recovery all I see is the Android robot with an exclamation mark. Has anyone successfully recover from this? If so how did you fix it?

Edit: No avail. My scenario wasn't listed on that posters list. At the moment I give up, I have read around and do not see anything like my scenario. Which is:
1) Updated to ICS from HC Jap Version (Here all worked great)
2) Read you can go back to HC so I downloaded the US version of HC and pushed through mobile terminal.
3) Updated but when it rebooted all I got was the ASUS logo loop.
4) Try to go into recovery and I see a GREEN Andrioid with a Progress bar on bottom but soon turns into a Triangle with an exclamation mark. (Android is not dead).
If anyone had this same scenario and got out of it please let me know. Thank you!
Hello everyone, I'm new here, and noticed no topics on developing roms for the android based SiriusXM Lynx, From what I understand, it runs on Froyo. For those of you unaware, it is a Satellite/wifi/bluetooth radio, but has android under it. A friend of mine discovered the recovery menu on his Radio today, and posted some pics.
(I would post these pics here, but I am unable to right now since I am new)
Anyone think this thing can get a custom Rom on this to run a regular version of android, or any neat tricks to play on this little device? my aplolgies if this is not the right place to put this thread, just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about this? thanks again guys.

As a side note, I can boot into recovery, but it is stock android recovery 3e, so if someone has a lead on how to get a custom boot loader or recovery on it. If needed I can give kernel, software version, etc. I just need help getting started...thanks

Still the looking for help...
I am generally aloof when it comes to a lot of how this stuff works, but is there any danger/luck in trying to unlock the boot loader or change recovery via methods/updates for other, similar hardware? Thanks..

Not sure if anyone has done anything with this device yet. I just updated mine today and it has a web browser now, unless it had it before and I just missed it.
Anyone have any new info on this?

lynx stuck in update boot loop
just to bump this thread into this year...
I have a SiriusXm SXi1 (Lynx) that was performing an update and powered off and is now stuck in a bootloop. When powered on, it says "updating lynx software", gets to about 40% then says "ERROR" and power cycles each time.
I was told that holding left volume while powering up should put you into bootloader mode but this doesn't work. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? If i can get into bootloader does anyone have a firmware that i can use adb and fastboot or the SDcard to flash it?
Thanks!
To get into the bootloader, hold down the left volume button, the home softkey and the power button at the same time.
I'm having issues with my Lynx and would like to at the very least reload the stock rom and see if that clears it up but haven't found one anywhere yet. Anyone have one they would be willing to upload?
I've done some searching and come up with nothing so maybe I'm overlooking something or I need help. I flashed the AOSP ROM and was attempting to clear out the SD card and make sure everything was in its place when I rebooted my phone only to be greeted with a LG logo for a second or two followed by a black screen and nothing else. The first thing I tried was to reboot into recovery and it didn't go. So then I tried to power the phone off and make sure I was hitting the combo correctly and got nothing. Again. So I'm scratching my head wondering what to do next. I though I might need to use LGNPST but I can't find a download for it (I will join the IRC and get it that way if I need to but I wanna be sure before bothering anyone in there). What do I need to do? Am I SOL? Is there anything I can check for to see just how bricked I am? Thanks for the help and I'll keep looking while I wait for replies. I appreciate it, guys.
Edit: After LGNPST was giving me a hanging boot animation I did a hard reset with vol down and power. It prompted me to reset, I did that and now everything is working. Thank you all and hopefully this can help someone else in the future.

Yes, I can.
Went ahead and found LGNPST and the instructions to use it. It should all put me back where I need to be but if it doesn't for some crazy reason then I'll bump the thread.
Alright, I thought LGNPST would work but I'm missing something apparently. I'm getting a reboot at 67%, which is normal, and then LGNPST jumps to 85% which I assume is also normal. After that the phone does the at&t boot animation and sound and then it just hangs up at "Rethink Possible" with LGNPST saying it was disconnected and to cycle the power (which I have tried, and I also tried just letting it boot, and rebooting and letting it boot and they all yield the same results). What is going on? What am I missing here? I've tried on a desktop running XP and a laptop running Windows 7 and the phone is still booting to the animation and seems to be working alright from a hardware standpoint so I don't know what the deal is. I'm gonna keep trying but any help or troubleshooting steps I should try would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry for the triple post, as well. I just really would like to get this fixed tonight so I can sleep haha.
Edit: I'm gonna charge it while I sleep and see if anything changes. It will charge and I charged it for about 45 minutes before trying LGNPST after I found out it would charge. When it first came on it said the battery was too low and it needed to before booting so maybe that's my issue with it booting the new rom or finishing LGNPST. To get to where I am all I did was flash AOSP coming from SnowJB (the LGOG version, NOT the N4 conversion version) and tried to clear out my SD card. I'm guessing that's where I messed something up but it could have been anything, including a hardware failure. I've read about a lot of folks having a similar issue with no resolution and either saying they'll return it or the thread dead ends and nothing else is said. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it and if charging helps then I'll report back as well so as not to leave anyone hanging if they stumble upon this thread and need help. I also think it's time for a LGNPST thread with links to the program and steps on how to use it and all that jazz to culminate all these issues. I'm not sure why it has to be so hidden and hard to get to.
LGNPST can't be shared publicly due to legal reasons. To get your phone to boot try a hard reset. From powered off state hold volume down and power buttons. When screen appears select reset.
Edit...If that doesn't work your miscellaneous partition may be messed up, Shelnutt2 on irc can help with that.
If this is the same problem I would try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38571768

Alright, I ran across that last night and thought about trying it. Do I do that with command prompt or what? Usually I wouldn't ask that but I've never done anything quite like this. And thank you for your help. I appreciate it a lot.

I didn't even think about retrying a hard reset after I got it to go as far as the boot animation. It worked! Thank you, so much. And everyone who replied thank you too! Thank you guys so much. If I had more than just thanks I would surely give it.
So I got an Asus Transformer Prime from a friend of my who had botched this thing something awful!
What I know of it so far:
-- He used Asus unlock tool to unlock it
-- He rooted it and added TWRP (not sure which version)
-- He changed the file system to f2fs and flashed CROMBI-KK to it
If you power on the tablet, it goes straight to TWRP screen and freezes. - no functionality at all. I can not at this time get it to go to fastboot.
I was able to get it to boot into APX mode (you know the one with the black screen and you'd think it turned off unless you plug it in and notice in device manage that it isn't?)
I can not communicate with the tablet via cmd. Not sure if I'm using the correct commands.
If I restart the tablet, it boots with the ASUS screen and says the device is unlocked and then goes straight into TWRP and freezes.
I'm working on it with Win7 64-bit so any and all advice or help you and send my way would be much appreciated.
If you help me fix it...well, then! Stop by KCMO sometime and I'll buy you a pint or four! Thanks in advance!
UPDATE!!!
Just to Update, still stuck with the same issue. Nothing new I have found but then, I haven't had time to really work on it. Please let me know if you've run into this problem too and how I could fix it.
Thank everyone!

I hope you have more luck than I do. Mine was given to me by my bro and I dont know really much about this tablet since its not mine. It's a huge learning curve when its not your own device. I cant get it to boot into download mode or any of the recovery options. But again, I am somewhat of a noob in terms of this tablet. What's APX mode?
