I want to charging my phone when using Otg host mode , Can ? I found some threads about Nexus 7 host mode charging , can't find for Galaxy S2
Maybe need flash patch kernel or other .... I also don't know ...

i have samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100g with jb neat rom
but i have a problem with otg cable that it connects flash drives normally but it doesn't connect usb mouse or gamepads
although it works perfect on s2 plus i9105 and note 2 n7100
any have solution for this problem please inform me

Normally Galaxy Mega 5.8 does not supports USB otg.
BUT..... The question is
1) Can we connect usb devices (usb mouse, pen drives) using an otg cable with external power supply?
2) Will any modified custom kernal be able to enable otg?
There is an option for pointer speed in settings menu..... This gives me a ray of hope....

I have rooted my mega 5.8........with the help of xda forum.....but I still dont have OTG enabled. Plz help me with dis issue......as my main purpose to root was getting pendrives to work with my cell.......please help.

Apparently even the GT-I9100 (Galaxy SII) and the GT-I9300 (Galaxy SII) support OTG. So extrapolating, your handset should.
Nevertheless, OTG support can be brought to smartphones with nonnstive support by means of a custom kernel with root access. Check out the development section for your device.
