According to specs it doesn't support otg but have you tried it yourself?

Apparently even the GT-I9100 (Galaxy SII) and the GT-I9300 (Galaxy SII) support OTG. So extrapolating, your handset should.
Nevertheless, OTG support can be brought to smartphones with nonnstive support by means of a custom kernel with root access. Check out the development section for your device.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 model GT-N8010 with android 4.0.4 running.
I wanted to ask how safe is it to root it ?
My rooting purpose is for using the cif manager application for accessing network from wireless.
If there is an other way to do it I wanted to learn them also.

when I install any ROM My S3 I9300 does not recognize the HDMI cable.
Is there any driver to recognize it when it is not the official Samsung ROM?

HDMI only works on Samsung based firmware.

Is there any chance of using sidesync 3.0 on galaxy s3 with galaxy tab s?? I know that it is an app for android 4.4, and I though that maybe flashing the phone with the new ROM ported from the LTE version or maybe with ported from galaxy note It would work. But, Unfortunely, it didnt. It worked with the PC but I have been impossible to connect it with the tablet. Any suggestions?
