Mate 10 pro, Rootet for records over bluetooth Headset calls

I already root my Huawaei mate 10 pro to record my daily calls. Whatever i try i always get only one side as a record and i am searching for a solution.
I make my calls over a bluetooth headset and this records are very important because some tecnical settlement must be documented.
I know that Android normally only allowed one side but with my former Huawei Mate 9 it was no problem.
If there any possibility to make it possible with a rooted Mate 10 pro?
Smartphone: Huawei Mate 10 pro
Android 8.0
Hivoice deaktivated

Hope that we can find a solution

I'll tell you more. If the wireless headphones support only AAC (Huawei Freebuds for instance) -- Honor 10 will use SBC instead of AAC no matter what you choose in dev-menu. Noone actually cares and noone knows when and if it is fixed. This problem was resolved for Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 and Huawei Mate 10 but not for Honor 10, bluetooth codecs seem to be broken, the issue still persists on the latest (for now) FW 8.1.0.143(COL10).
Hi, do you have any update on this? I'm considering to buy Sony wh-1000x m3, would be a shame if ldac didn't work.. How's the sound on your xm2s with honor 10?
The bug still persists for me on the latest update does anybody know how to contact honor support?
No LDAC support

How to change bluetooth audio codec?

Hi. I bought Honor 8X and Huawei Freebuds, so these devices support the ACC audio codec.
But when I connect the headphones use only codec SBC and it not possible to change in the developer menu.
Can you please tell me how to fix this?

That's a known issue on all the emui 8.x devices and nothing could be done from our side unless Huawei issues a update with a fix for this issue.

Thanks for the answer, you're right. But in a situation with Honor 8X and Freebuds the problem is the interaction between them (Great job, Huawei).
Freebuds work great with samsung s7 (almost any codec avaible and working), Honor 8X (emui 8.2) work great with Plantronic backbeat sense (aptx, aac, sbc) and codecs change without any problems.
Waiting for fix
Yeah m facing the same problem in changing the codec.. The options are not being clicked.. I was worried.. Thanks for clearing the confusion.. Waiting for honor to work on it

Two years later they did not fix it
You can try turning on the bluetooth after turning on the headphones, sometimes Freebuds working with AAC codec in this case.
