First, questions should not be asked in development forum, Please read the forum rules.
Mod can you move this to Q&A?
Second the USB kit works on the custom roms not the 3.01 ROM, if you mean kit by usb adapter sold by samsung for the 10.1. (7500)

That's right. You need 3.1 rom. And I can confirme it works with USB drives, keyboards, mouses etc.

[Q] DVB-T

Hi!
Does anyone know if it is possible to view DVB-T on a Galaxy Tab 10? I would like to use a DVB-T2 USB stick with the Galaxy Tab. I know there is a USB host converter and I also know that it should be possible in general, because of the DVB-T support of Urukdroid (Archos Gen8).
Does anyone know of a ROM that offers this kind of support or what would steps would be necessary to do so?
Thanks!

[Q] HP Mini 210 running Android

Hey guys. First off I'd like to say that I'm fairly new to all this, so don't be to harsh Anyway. I just installed Android 4.0.3 for the Android Thinkpad, onto my HP Mini 210. It works great, its fast, its awesome. Problem is, the wifi driver. From all the research I've done, I've found out that the linux doesn't natively support the wifi card that the Mini comes with either. So, I went about trying to learn how one would install it in linux. The two links below are to the drivers and the readme for the driver I need to install.
xda forums won't let me post the links... but if you do a quick google search for "802.11 Linux STA driver" it'll be the first one to pop up.
I can't figure out how to install the driver. I feel like I've gotten so close. But my limited knowledge of linux has lead me to a brick wall. Please help me here! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, even if its a link to another forum or site.

[Q] searching solution usb host/otg on galaxy ace

Hi (I´m new), this is my first post...
I`m searching for a useable solution to get usb host/otg on my Galaxy Ace. I want to use my phone to control my nikon-dslr. There are apps like dslrdashboard or bbqdslr on the market, but they need usb host.
Using Mardons CM10.1 ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2212438), but it seems that the kernel doesn`t support usb host.
I didn´t find a kernel with usb host, so pls if anybody may help me to get it working.
(tried to post at the thread linked above, but its not allowed for a newbie like me)

Welcome to xda!
There is no problem with the kernel.
Samsung did not connect one pin of the USB port to the main board. That is why we will never get a working USB OTG.
(For the future: Please post in the device specific forum. There is a SG Ace S5830 Q&A subforum. It is very unlikely that an Ace owner (like me) will see your posts here. Lucky guy! )
Hello ! I'm looking for OTG compatibility on a Galaxy Ace too.

So, it will never work only because the USB device connected won't get powered by the Galaxy Ace ?
If I use a USB device that is powered by another energy source, and have a ROM that allows OTG connection, would it solve the problem ?

How to Connect Samsung Quattro to Projector? as it isn't HML enabled

I have Samsung Grand Quattro mobile, which does not support MHL. Is there any other option that I can connect my mobile directly with Projector?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers, but I guess without an custom kernel that support MHL you don't have any chance.
For more questions or thread you must register an account on XDA forums first.
