Hey guys! I was just wondering if there is any camera app port from another device to replace the xz2 stock camera with the camera button functionality.
Or if there is any mod with fixed optimized manual settings??

Hello,
i wanted to ask if it is possible to mod the stock camera app somehow with the goal that flashlight would not be always on but flash one or two times before taking picture and of course when it is taking the picture. I mean some other camera apps like vignette can do it like this (but stock camera can take better photos), and this isnt draining battery that much as in stock camera.
So if other camera apps can do real "flashing" flashlight, it has to be possible to mod the stock camera app to get flashing flashlight when taking a photo..
What do you think?

M8 There is no way to do like you think
You just think about Xperia X10 .....
our x10 is start from android 1.6 to until now,,
no android version has camera flash light auto,.......
I don't know how to explain here but you can guess if think properly

Yeah but this is the one that doesn't require changing the build.prop.
i've installed it.
but why in menu i've 2 camera app, the CM9, and the 4.2 ones.
how to fix that?
i'm curently on CM9.1 form FXP.

Better to long press on old camera icon and when homescreen shows up, throw it to "information" or something. App-Info. Then click "deactivate".
Even though this is different in regards to the build.prop I would like you to post your find in the other thread so that it will be less confusing to the members and everything will be kept in one thread. Thanks for understanding.

Hello,
I use RealICS 6 since yesterday and really like this rom. There is only one thing i can't live with:
The Statusbar Brightness slider. It's really a pain in the ass because of its size and look
I already searched the Topic of RealICS and found the exact same question but no answer to it
Can any1 help?

you need to find new and change systemui.apk which not have brightens control.. in system/apps

Hello! I'm looking for a ROM that's based on the CM9.1 by freexperia and that has the Sony look (theme and preferably apps included - if not, then post where I would get the apps).
Or..
A rom that looks like it has the same-ish UI from Xperia Z or ZL with the new Sony apps and the lockscreen. If there isn't one, how would I make it look like that?

I haven't tried it, was going to install it this weekend. So I can't really say, I'm just going from the comments and description.
There's also a mod for Xperia Z launcher somewhere in the forum. (Can't find it now as I'm supposed to be working...) You could try that if it's compatible with CM9.1.

I did end up trying it. Amazingly fast and stable - but no real Sony apps other than generic Walkman, Album and Movies.. No lockscreen either and a lot of features missing from usual Sony ROMs. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway! Happen to know of any others that might do the trick?

2. speed droid mod

4. cybershot 4.7.2
5. beats audio
- No problem right now but yet want to enjoy new good roms.

I can't because XDA does not allow me to post in developer section until I have posted 10 post.
Respected all the Rom developers and/or advanced users,
The ROMS which are currently being release by all are carrying he walkman app.However everyone kows here thatany walkman app doesnt work good w.r.t. sound output quality on the speaker mode(headphones work good,perhaps excellent in walkman as there are various modes available in it).Now the time has come to develop the walkman app which can perform as good as stock music player on XPERIA Mini Pro sk17i and XPERIA Mini st15i.I cannoot tell you to remove all walkman appfeatures because other features like movies,album etc. are good.So please work on this if possible(I have personally tried many ROMS from this developer community,and they are good.I only wish to make out the faults because many of the apps can damage the speaker).Also i liked the BoostMyXperia app.One more thing,LED Control is not needed.The Ultimate LED Notification fix if it has been included in the rom(deodexed),then why do you need to include LED control(not criticizing anyone here,but the Ultimate LED Notification fix is excellent enough).And finally,personally,i feel that Timescape is better app than social life.What do you think guys?.And the most important thing,if anyone can,please try to include the CRT OFF ANIMATION.
