PU Leather Smart Flip Folding Protective Case Cover - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

PU Leather Smart Flip Folding Protective Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2" SM-P900 Tablets
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251584282923&alt=web - 1.99GDP
Not long after I got my Note I needed to protect it so I went for a cheap option until I could find something more permanent. I ordered the flip case from ebay and it got to me quickly. It came with a pen! This pen could write on real paper and then you could turn it round and use the soft tip to write on screens, though it's not as accurate as the S-Pen.
I put noy Note 12.2 in the case and it was a very tight fit. I ended up turning the tablet off as I was pressing on and off and the volume buttons accidently.
I switched it back on and for some reason (I think it's because the holes that exposed the volume and power buttons were odd sizes) my tablet would flash on and off occasionally. I took it back out that evening and put the case aside. I'm not going to bother sending it back as it was only 1.99GDP and the postage would have been more.
PROS: Cheap, will protect your tablet.
CONS: Probably won't last very long with normal, everyday use, very tight fit.

Ebay- New G-Tablet Case--Don't Buy!!

Don't buy this case!
It looks Great but will not fit our G-Tabs unlike
what the ad says.
The straps inside are too tight and will not fit around the corners.
The G-Tab is too thick. The cover doesn't close down all the way.
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180646903537&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123
Drat, Drat and Double Drat!!
PS The company returned my $$$ and I didn't have to pay shipping back
but the ad is still up.
Straps are ugly, anyways. I stuck 2 strips of velcro on the back (since it's staying in the case, anyway), and it's perfect. Nothing to block the face/buttons of the device, no leather bezel, etc.
Try this one: electroniccrap.com several of cases..
Mine Fits.
Meh, this is the same exact case that I got for mine but I bought it off of amazon. Fits great! The straps really don't cover any of the buttons (a little bit of the volume button) and once it's in it's not going anywhere, and the strap snaps tight. Overall, I'm pleased with it.
G-Tab Case
This is what I was going to use. Can CONFIRM GTAB fits PECTLY
http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/computer/categories/carrying_cases/1/accessories/CQ4647
Bought two gtabs and two of these very same "kindle DX" cases from amazom. The gtabs actually fit quite well in them. One of the straps presses slightly against the power button, but I've put some adhesive backed material around the button to prevent accidental pushing, so it's not an issue.

My review of the Sikai leather case

Hi all,
Here is my review of the Sikai leather/plastic case, as sold by Amazon. For comparison, I have had my Prime in the Poetic cover since I got it. It was okay, but didn't have a charging slot in the spine so it had to be open to be plugged in - plus the nearly-flat angle was nearly-useless because the cover kept slipping out of the tab you tucked it into. I had ordered the GreatShield folio case, but returned it because I didn't like the way the case gripped the tablet, plus I didn't like that to close the cover I had to put pressure on the screen to slide the clip past the edge.
Onto my review...
As mentioned in other reviews, it is a strange mix of black leatherette and dark brown plastic. The plastic back plate is great - the Prime snaps in and seems to be held quite securely. Similar to many iPad covers, it just wraps over the edge - enough to hold, but out-of-the-way enough to really reveal the sleek Prime look. The main portion of the back plate is the black leatherette material, with only the outer edge showing the brown plastic. It has all of the necessary cutouts - including (apparently) the ability to have the dock attached and still close the cover. That is because the "hinge" pieces that connect the cover to the back plate are elastic. I don't have a dock, so I can't comment much on that.
The leather-ish cover looks to be two pieces glued/sewn together, with two bends in the midde - allowing it to be folded up in a triangle shape. Both angles I tried seem to be reasonably stable while typing. About the two layers of the cover...they might have been able to get away with only one, giving it a sleeker appearance, but they had to account for the strap that slips over the sides to hold the cover against the screen. The strap is fine, and gives it an upscale look, but I would have preferred a more unobtrusive solution with magnets or something similar. Overall, the case is skinny enough - just about the same thickness as my Poetic case. That is actually a bit of a downer since I expected this to be thinner since the Poetic case has that layer around the bezel with the magnets in the corners.
There are a few tiny fit-and-finish things that I didn't expect to see in a $30 case. The leather part of the back plate doesn't always make a perfect fit with the plastic border. I'm really nitpicking here, but when this costs three times as much as my Poetic case, I was expecting Ferrarri-quality stuff. I know - it still only $30 so I won't beat them up (much) for it.
Overall, I really like the Sikai. It has a superior look to the Poetic - that one hid all of the nice features of the Prime underneath the protective layers of the front/back/cover. When all that is exposed is the center part of the screen, it almost doesn't matter anymore what Asus designed it to look like. The Sikai shows the Prime's lines and curves much better than the other cases I have seen. The plastic seems tough enough to not break or wear any time soon, so as long as the leatherette holds up, I say this is the best case available for the Prime under $30...
By the way, when ordering from Amazon, it ships from Hong Kong. I placed the order on June 18th, and got a confirmation within 24 hours that it had shipped. However, the confirmation email said my ETA was JULY 31st! Needless to say, I was very happy when it arrived today instead...
I figured there were already better pictures available than my crappy phone can provide, but I can take some close-ups of specific features if requested.
Thanks!

The dock works great with this case!
yeah I've had this case for a few weeks and its very functional. I really like how it doesn't cover the bezel on the prime like the sikai fiber case and you get multiple angles that actually work
My only complaints are that its a bit on the heavy side and because its designed to be put into the dock with the case on, the steepest angle isn't quite as steep as other cases because the flap slides out making the "hinge" not at the fold but an inch out
oh and the case is kind of ugly haha

[Q] Protective Case Recommendations?

I've read through a lot of the posts regarding cases, and have been considering the Logitech keyboard case, but honestly, the reviews aren't very good for the case as far as securing and protecting the device. I'm mainly concerned about the screen getting cracked or scratched during transit. My pro will spend most of its time on my desk but will have a lot of time in my backpack between classes. At the moment it's sharing space with my Mac Book Air in a soft briefcase-type of thing. I was hoping for something a lot like the Zagg keyboard case I have for my iPad 4. I don't care much about the keyboard since the Zagg pairs nicely with my Pro, and I plan to use the stylus 99% of the time.
Any recommendations or ideas? The Zagg for my iPad is pretty low quality as far as the keyboard is concerned but I've never worried about traveling with my iPad when it's in that case. It's a real beast!
Although I don't have one, my vote goes to the Speck Stylefolio .
1. You say you don't need a keyboard since you already have one that works.
2. Having the flip cover protects the screen while in your bag.
3. The flip cover does not have any magnets which means no interference with S-Pen functionality.
OtterBox. Period. Adds some major weight and size, but if you truly want what you're describing - in regards to the most protection any case out there can offer - then there you have it. It's also $130. Best $130 you'll spend on your nearly $700 tablet. A little steep, but your investment is just a tid-bit steeper, don't you think?
I purchased this one off a recommendation here. It protects it nicely but I will be trimming it around the buttons as it covers them slightly. And annoys the crap out of me.

I do have the Speck Stylefolio, and it provides great overall protection with minimal bulk, and securely holds the Note Pro. Quality materials, worth the cost.
=GO=
You can find iPad Case at www cell-phonecover com.
I have both the Samsung flip cover, which has no bulk and the Samsung Keyboard case. Had the logitech, and it damaged the corner by the spen by chipping the finish off the tab.
The flip cover corners have cracked and kinda fits looser. I only use it if I'm doing a site walk outside for work. Other than that, if it's on your desk most of the time, I would recommend a stand of some sort that doubles as a cover.

Flip cases for the 6T

Hey everyone,
Since I typically use a flip case (a regular case with a protective cover for the screen that flips open) with all the phones I've owned, I thought I'd open a thread to start a discussion about people's experiences and recommendations with flip cases for the 6T.
Share something and help someone with what product to use!

I'm currently using this one:
Foluu Compatible OnePlus 6T Case,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K2S5DFC?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Pros:
+ magnetic edge on flip cover afixes the flip cover to the back, neatly preventing flapping
+ the sides of the phone are completely covered by a transparent bumper, with cutouts only for usb, alert slider, and speakers
+ relatively screen protector friendly
Cons:
- not a smart cover
- back cover is not a single piece with the sides, adding to bulk
Again, the pro/con list reflects my personal preferences and of course, may not apply at all to you.
Orzly Wallet Flip Case looks decent enough. I am currently using the oneplus 6t flip case with card slot, and its okay. Doesnt flap much, but it does not compare to my last otterbox strada case for the iphone 8 plus. Still looking for something similar.
I've also purchased some ringke 3m card slots, both the plastic and the nylon to add to the tpu cover that was included with the phone. Although not a flipcase, the downside with not having a solid magnet or full edge protection gives higher probability of the phone landing face down when dropped.

I second the motion -- the Otterbox Strada on my Samsung S7 Edge is the gold standard for me. Most expensive case I've bought but has lasted many multiples longer than any other case. It's still a tank and still in use nearly three years later.
Closest case for OnePlus to that standard was the Tech21 flip case for my 6. Don't think they make it for the 6T though.
I'm using the flip case that I got from OnePlus when it's working fine.I've had better and I've had worse but pretty good I'm happy. No issues,, thinking about getting a OtterBox when they come out just for safety. But they're so big and bulky and ugly.,,,,,,,, I guess we'll see
I like cases.
My wife thinks that I have a fetish for phone cases.
I change them when I go out depending on what I feel like.
Here are the flip cases that I have purchased so far;
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-OnePlus...var=472229251615&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
The traditional brown leather flip case.

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-OnePlus...var=572979395291&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/PIN-1-Art-C...var=472327549790&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Old School fun right here... I have purchased so many freaking cassettes over the years.. ugh. Why not put my phone in one...
I chose the white and green tape.
https://ca.mobilefun.com/olixar-xtome-leather-style-oneplus-6t-book-case-brown-70015
Old brown leather bound book.
I think that this book one will be my favorite flip case.
Only the Cassette tape case has come in so far.
It's a bit larger then a real cassette tape and it's a big large for the phone.
Then I've purchased another half dozen or so hard cover cases/non flip.

Damn, your wife's probably right..!
But it could be worse: you could have a phone fetish instead of a phone case fetish, and that would be much more expensive.
The flip cases that I have ordered so far have come in.
Also, two of the hard cases have arrived as well. (As an aside, I don't like any of those yet. We will see if the rest of the hard cases are any better)
I like the oneplus oem flip case because it is the only one that has a magnetic feature that turns the screen on and off.
That is nice.
But I find it too small and it doesn't offer much protection.
And it only has one debit card slot.
Not useful as a wallet.
The oneplus, cassette tape and book flip cases do not have a magnetic clasp to keep them closed.
I kind of like that feature.
It gives me a fidget to play with.
And it makes it more noticeable if someone opens the case to take my debit card? Dunno.
Lol
Taking a look at the back side of these cases, some of them are not like the others.
Some of the cutouts look off.
I haven't checked them to see if it affects function or not.
Honestly I don't use the camera much anyways.
If anyone has any questions about these cases, let me know and I will do my best to answer them.
If anyone has a suggestion of another flip case for me to try out, then I am all ears!
P.S. And yes. The book is my favorite case so far. Followed by the Tardis.
Hi, I am looking for the same, but it is so hard... I know exactly what I want but all of the good looking cases are plastic inside and all the silicone ones are not-so-good looking.
Anyone found so far a sleek and elegand flip case with silicone inside?

Case that covers S-Pen?

I currently have the Samsung book case for the tab s7+. I am having issues with the s pen coming loose and falling off. The book case with the tab s6 had a flap on the top back of the case that would cover the s pen so it couldn't fall off. The book case for the s7+ does not have this. Does anybody know of a case for the tab s7+ that does hold the s pen in place?

I like the supcase unicorn beetle. Not a book case though
I picked up a TiMOVO case from Amazon. It has elastic that holds the s pen in place. It feels a little more bulky than the book cover case but not to bad.
Spigen recently released (in the last month or so) a new book case. I think it's superior to Samsung's own book case. Offers a trifold front cover that can be folded back and also a spot to mount the s pen in the designated area on the back of the tablet. Link below if you're interested. I picked it up and it's been great.

Why don't you put the s-pen in the spot on the spine of the book cover? Mine has never fallen out when the case is closed. Everyone complains that their book cover doesn't hold the s-pen in place during transport when they leave it on the back even though the slot on the spine is completely protected. The only problem is that it doesn't charge there.
I got mine from Best buy Canada, Tucano brand, no magnet crap to mess up my S Pen, the only one that has no Smart cover thing.
Perfect protection of the pen.
Actually, so good that I had trouble getting the pen out so I cut off a few mm to make it easier

Old thread, but I wanted to say I bought this one, too, and it is outstanding. Not much bulk, great protection, and the pen stays put.
I have both the original Keyboard Case and Book Cover Case. Been rocking the Keyboard case about 95% of the time. Its aweome, and I use my tablet for a lot of productivity, so its nice to have quick acess to keyboard. The pen is stored on the back, like it was on tab S6 Book cover.
On the book cover its stored inside the case. Also convenient.

This is the Poetic TurtleSkin. It's fat and rubbery but not sticky. I got it for less that $20. I had to get used to it but now I can say I'd buy it again. I also have the genuine book cover wich is well made but overpriced. And dealing with the pen seems like it was an afterthought.
The Spigen one runs for several inches along the back, and holds the s Pen firmly. Mine has never come loose.
