[MOD][APP] Transparent Smart Notice & Cards - Sprint LG G3

This is a flashable zip to change the stock Smart Notice and Cards to transparent. Original how-to guide to make the widget transparent is here by atmxpert. I added onto it to include the cards and made it flashable with a custom recovery!

Unsure. I know from experience with htc and samsung system widgets not showing up in nova, but haven't tried it on lg yet. And I'm running carbon right now so can't test it for u.

How i can make background color to black (#000000) and transperacy to 50% for both wheather/clock block and smartnotice block ?
Thanks )

Also, cards @50%?

Does not work with 3rd party launchers. You must be on a stock lg launcher.

Yes cards also 50. Could you explain what part of the css code should be edited so I can experiment by myself? I would like to do the same with the weather widget. Thankyou very much for your response.

I can put together a how-to, but that will take some time.

I figured out how to do it... but the system dont give me permision to edit the file through the phone. I have rooted d802.

Yeah you need to copy those files to the sd card, edit, then copy them back and fix perms.

Success! But I edited another files to do that. I analyzed theme files and used res/drowab-xxhdpi/concierge.css

Judging by the fact it looks completely different, I'd say no... However, if you can send me a pm with this folder in /system/etc:
I will see if I can put one together for you if you're willing to test it.
Edit: also, I assume you're rooted with custom recovery?

*¯\(°_o)/¯[THEME]I dunno LOL¯\(°_o)/¯*

I hated the way the photon looked (as far as the theme went) out of the box so I've spent a little bit of time getting things the way that I like it. I didn't create anything but borrowed bits and pieces from :
Simplicity
- Most of what I have is from her. She also helped me finally get the SystemUI.apk to decompile properly.
Cloudy
-I ran this all the time on the Nexus with the T-mobile theme manager and I missed it so much!
And of course the base is Alien theme so there are several elements from that as well.
I had considered adding a customer font and animations but people will have their own preferences so upon request I'll post zips for each of these.

Welcome to android! You started out with an awesome phone.
I believe that you can flash this p-rom (p stands for pseudo) found here. It is de-odexed so you should then be able to flash the theme afterwards. I have not done this myself so please make sure you know how to restore your phone if things get borked.

not really know if i can release this here since i only modded some premade apps found on google play.
just want to know your opinion guys, what do you think?
PS.: Im experimenting on using this gestures mod so that i can use my tablet without the system bar for a more unique Metro experience, so far so good. i will update this post when I made a new development.
are u using desktop visualizer and such mod or are u doing framework-res mod? am willing to test
Is this also for the cm 10 4.1.2?
Btw, it looks very very nice though!

Most of these Icons come from Brobot, I think. Check out his "old" theme here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547408

I'm confused about this. I did install the 50% transparent but it doesnt seem 50%. More like 80%. Also it seems like the installer gives you the option to install all of the dropdowns but you can only do one at a time correct? Also is there or will there be an option to use our own background image?
i dont know how long i will support this... sadly that wanam mod really messes with this mod, until i can figure out how to disable wanam automatically when flashing this i dont think itll really properly work right
Are you able to throw up a default option so I can go back to the original drop down? I flashed the 50% and it made the text (battery and time) on my task bar big.

[THEME] AOSP Theme for NCShade on OC1 Lollipop

THIS REQUIRES ROOT PERMISSIONS, PROBABLY DEODEX, AND SOME KNOWLEDGE
I'm gonna keep this simple. I did this on the deodexed OC1 Lollipop ROM.
1. Download this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanager
and this apk: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72206619/AOSP-v5.apk (don't install aosp_v5 as a sideloaded apk)
2. Grant root privileges to the layers manager app, then select "File Chooser" and find AOSP-v5.apk wherever you put it
Optional: Back up the default setup by sliding out the menu and hit backup/restore
3. Select "Install"
4. Select "Reboot"
Your NC shade should now look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

Well okay, still looks nice
Will be using it for a while, back on KitKat, I was actually able to get the KitKat AOSP Pulldown on Touchwiz, took a lot of theming and modding, I'll see if I can do the same for lollipop.
Are you working on any other layers theme?

i didn't actually make any of these things, i just found this stuff on various places in XDA and wanted to sorta repost it here, and kinda let people know that it works, and also indicate the potential that could be had with RRO theming for touchwiz, it's clear that it works.
edit: also wanted to mention that i kinda wanted to rehost the aosp layers theme because basketbuild is really scummy

Alrighty, I had actually never heard of this method of theming and am very happy to see active theming being done on Touchwiz lollipop

check out the threads i linked to in the references section, you can find other dropdown themes and some really minor stuff. not sure what other layer themes will work with touchwiz but oh the potential.
