Hello.
I have received my HTC Aria of At&t logo on it as a gift from USA. I paid to at&t and unlocked it in India. I was using my phone as a simple without mobile internet. I thought that this is a new release mobile so no one have the 3G settings for this.
But now I am in studying in London, UK and i cant use any network accept Lycamobile. In this one, I also cannot use the mobile internet.
I have call the customer care but they always told that they send me settings but i never received it. What's going on in this i don't have any idea...
Its too hard to roam around in the big city without having an Internet in my phone.
Do i have to unlock it again according to UK? or is there any other problem i am facing.?
Please Help...
Thank you
Regards
Tausifali.

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased Alcatel mw40cj Hostspot pocket wifi router and it is locked on a particular network. I want to use another company sim cards also in this.
Please guide me through this or provide NCK code to unlock this device.
I tried to search in xda forums but unable to find any related information. I also tried many NCK code calculator and they all didn't work. Now i only have limited try attempts.
I am using xda from a long time for my studies and you guys are best. This is first time i'm posting any question which i didn't find in existing forums. Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I am stuck in a rural area with only Verizon as a carrier. I get decent 4G LTE reception, so that is good. I have virtually no other internet options, besides satellite. I purchased a galaxy S4 hoping to install Lineage OS, only to find it has a locked bootloader. Have been using Stang5litre ROM, but often the 4G radio disappears, plus keep getting "Android optimizing" when powering on that take 15 mins to complete. So I would like to get a new/used phone for internet access. Was hoping to install Lineage OS, as I have read good things about their support. I don't have too many wishes, just a reliable phone that works well. I will tether this phone to my home router, so hiding that from Verizon/Straighttalk is a must. I will run IPVanish app on phone, then tether to router running OpenWrt through SSH tunnel, so root is a must. Would like unlocked bootloader also.
So from the rambling above does anyone have advise for what phone I should purchase?

In my humble option I wold go this route( first phone). I have not personally bought from him but two friends did and had good luck. You could also try your luck on eBay or swapa or whatever online merchant you chose and get a used s5 but like I said that's a gamble because only certain ones can be bootloader unlocked and most venders out there won't be able to help you. The g900v s5 isn't the only phone that will work in your situation but your options are very very slim. Verizon makes it very hard for people who don't want there bloatware. I have been in your situation pm me if you want any advice and I will try my best to help.
