Removed some debug and logging options
Enhanced performance and battery patches
Several CPU Governors (blu_active own governor is default)
Voltage Control UV_mV_table
Enhanced TCP methods (westwood is default), Network and Wifi tweaks
Several I/O control (FIOPS is default), tweaked filesystems (F2FS, ExFAT, NTFS & CIFS available)
Disabled stock mpdecision and thermald, removed artificial throttles (core hotplug, frequency and battery)

CDROM emulation added to mass_storage (full Drive Droid compatible)
init.d support (busybox run-parts required), Kernel cleaner script
Compatible with Kernel Adiutor, Universal Kernel Manage and others
DOWNLOAD KERNEL ZIP
Warning: If you come from other kernel, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing blu_spark zip to avoid problems.
Reflash ROM -> flash SuperSU -> Boot device and install busybox -> flash blu_spark.
Also uninstall or clean data of any kernel control app you're using.
Root is now available in Marshmallow 6.0 in enforced mode thanks to chainfire.
In stock (or stock derived) ROMs follow the steps bellow. In pre rooted custom ROMs you should only need to flash blu_spark zip
Just go to SuperSU thread and download the kernel zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/wip-android-6-0-marshmellow-t3219344
Extract the boot.img (not a flashable zip)
Go to recovery, flash boot.img, flash SuperSU v2.50+, flash blu_spark

So far I like. Its big but the quality of screen on surf and watching HD movies and such.
Also performance is amazing, specially with encryption off.
Battery is not that bad, on my daily task seems to last a little longer than hammerhead. During the night no t even 1% drop
The downsides I found so far: vibrator seems more loose and rattle a little.
The screnn colors are good, but it goes pink on low brightness. But this is not really an issue, I can't use so low brightness even at night, seems like minimum level of hammerhead with dimmer on 2: is just too low.

WELCOME TO ELITE KERNELS!
Our main goal behind building these kernels is to create a setup that gives a balance between performance and battery life without straying too far from stock. We like to have our cake and eat it too. Our kernels include performance, memory, and scheduling tweaks that enables your phone to come to the party when you are hammering down on it and need performance ASAP, and to go to sleep faster than a basset hound on a warm summer day. We put these kernels together mainly for our own use; so what we release is what we personally use. We hope you enjoy them too!

What is enabled by default? We like to control our kernels with a script run at boot for defaults, although any kernel app can control the built in settings. Here is what we set as default upon boot:
Sweep left 2 sleep
Doubletap 2 wake
CFQ IO scheduler with 1536 read ahead
If you want to change anything you can open up /system/elite/Elite.sh and save and execute (or use your favorite control app). Current method for N Preview has script in /system/su.d/Elite.sh

Recommendations for flashing:
1. If you have flashed another kernel, we suggest you get back the kernel that the ROM you were on came with before flashing Elite Kernel. Easiest way to do this is dirty flash the ROM again.
2. If you think you are getting a bug that is kernel related, please report all of your current setup. Including ROM(and version), any other kernels you've flashed, if you have dirty flashed a ROM update, and any other information we might need and also include a log if possible.
Got it

We set these up out of the box to our liking so the recommended settings are the default ones. I use trickster when I do mess with things though.
First impressions: Been onboard 9 hours on Tesla rom (unofficial) a friend of mine builds for Shamu...Extremely smooth!!Slow drain on battery already seems noticeable to me. Played a zombie killer fps game and no stutters whatsoever. Using kernels default settings. Tks guys!

Also wanted to say I greatly appreciate the way you have your git organized. From a devs perspective it makes it 100x easier to see how you implemented your changes. Very helpful. Thank you!

this is the goal. It makes it easy to just do something like "git pull zen BFS_standlone" and only get the bfs stuff, etc. Also to not have to search through pages of commits to find a certain set of changes.
I get a little unorganized in the misc branches, but I can't have one for everything

This is my custom kernel that I've been using personally since the Nexus 9 was released. I have started updating it more frequently, and it has some unique features that other kernels on this device do not have currently.
Some of the features include:
SELinux Permissive (for root on M)
Faux's Intelliplug
Custom Governors:
bioshock, blu_active, lionheart, zzmoove, yank active, intelliactive
Arm64 topography
BFQ Scheduler (my clear favorite, there are others!)
Graphite Build Optimizations
Uber 5.3.1 aarch64 Toolchain
Linux 3.10.98 (always will be the most current linux stable)
CPU Overclock
No forced encryption
Instructions:

From my understanding it's not the kernel that forces encryption, but the fstab included while flashing whatever rom. If I'm wrong I will add whatever is necessary to kernel.

fstab is always in ramdisk (so it's inside boot.img). You need to unpack and patch fstab.flounder and fstab.flounder64 (replace forceencrypt to encryptable). I wrote a quick flasheable zip yesterday to edit those files in TWRP, but maybe I missed something and that weird message of corrupted device appears in early boot. After that I flashed fire-ice kernel and it boots normally. I can share my zip with you if you want.

Running great here too... What settings do you have? Never seen bioshock or zzmoove... I'm on bioshock now with hotplug enabled and SIO (CFQ is for hard drives). So far everything seems good (performance and battery).
I run BioShock or Lionheart usually, always underclocked...I don't typically hotplug but as far as schedulers bfq.

stock kernel doesn't support init.d script,so if you want to exec init.d you should follow this step:
1. create /system/etc/init.d 755 use twrp
2. flash kernel
3. enable "Emulate Init.d" by kernel Adiutor
what's the difference between R3 kernel and this kernel 3.4.112.... thanks mate

What kernel is much better ???
@army9000 I don't think USB fast charge is working.
Also, which app would you suggest to be used to change kernel settings like change the governor's and all.
I tried kernel adiutor , works decently.
Battery life has improved but I haven't seen so much improvement in performance. Scored 29785 with stock kernel and 32255 with your kernel on antutu.
Hello army9000!
Currently I'm using Vitataf's modded stock Rom. IHO, the best Rom ever for X1.
But after I tried this kernel, the Rom lost some features, like native adblock.
Is it possible to use your kernel and keep the original features of the Rom?
And hey! Thanks for your work and time, keeping the development of our beloved device up!

this is a real unesesary question, bro if u install a custom kernel obviously you lost the stock kernel features.... and u ask if u can combine the features the answer is yes if u have theknowledge about programing

Chill, dude.
As I said before, adblock is a feature of the modified stock ROM, not a different kernel.
And obviously, if I had that knowledge, I wouldn't ask if it is possible.
But thanks any way!

1. Maybe you are right, I found use samsung 5.3v 2a charger fast charge working.
2. Adiutor is good enough

If adblock function is in kernel, that's impossible; If it doesn't,you can try a factory reset.
Flashed today. Feels very smooth and fast.
@army9000 Just want to know if you're gonna discontinue the other one lollipop stock kernel.
IMO R3 still the best in battery & performance. Although, currently I'm still using and testing this kernel too.
Anyway, many thanks to your effort for our beloved moto x.
Cheers.

In my opinion this Kernel runs smoother AND ist better in Power management.
Does anyone else have the Problem that 3G is sometimes mit working, only edge? After reboot it connects to 3G!
Also WLAN sometimes is connected but every App says offline. Same as above: reboot and everything works fine.

Aero Kernel is a kernel for the Nexus 6. I am aiming for stability, smoothness, and slimness, while retaining a few select features I can't do without. I try to keep a stock-like source, and mostly just cherry-pick in features and fixes from the great developers of XDA that I deem necessary over stock. I will be maintaining 3 branches: Stable built by Uber Toolchains, Beta Built by Uber Toolchains, and Stable built by Uber Linaro Toolchains. To find the differences, please do your own research of the two, but the only major difference is the toolchain that the kernel is compiled with, the different versions have all the same features. Some just find one or the other better so I provide you with both options. Special thanks to @The Flash for his upstream source I used and his help. Also thanks to all the other amazing devs from which I cherry-picked from. Note that this is not in any way affiliated with any kernel control app (there is an "Aero Kernel Control", I have no affiliation with it or the respective dev whatsoever.)

I am not liable nor responsible for unusable and/or broken devices due to flashing my kernel. You are fully responsible for what you install on your device, including my kernel.

Its not implemented yet, i had lots of errors when i put it in . Once i get it working it will first be in a beta, then stable. And msm sleeper defaults at 4 cores during suspend, i can change this but it can easily be changed via kernel auditor mod or any kernel control app.

That's cool, this is a really good kernel. Best I've used so far. I've only used my phone for little over 30 minutes, but it has really good stand by time. Also been the only kernel I haven't had any freezes or lockups or any random reboots. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Hopefully it's a good while... The Ironactive cpu governor is good... So far your kernel is the only one that has it for the Nexus 6.

Ironactive is just interactive with the upstream CAF patches, which most kernels add anyways because they improve the governor quite a bit. No point to have two governors that do the same thing lol.

Whatever suits you. Flash is correct, it is essentially interactive, but slightly improved in my opinion. You can look over the C code and decide for your self. I just want to throw out the option of using it.
Looking forward to trying this kernel, but need to wait for the wifi tether fix. Thanks for giving us yet another option for our mighty whale!

Awesome
thanks for the kernel brother
Awesome kernel bro with good performance without models
Can you please add some tuning for better internet support and lesser ping in online games so this would be pretty effective for gamers also
After testing many kernels I have to say this one works the best on my fts screen. No lags, no freezings (even with gpu 820mhz and 65hz oc together). I'm on Android 10 Pixel Experience and the experience just got much better, everything seems to run so smooth...
Congratulations and thanks for your work! Sure I will keep an eye on your progress even you made it already shine.

What u want with this kernel ? Brother xda is for developers and if they do something they can post it on xda. Always try to appreciate other work they are doing it for free. And every kernel work different with different users because everyone using desired roms and mod. So if u want to install it than try or just leave.
using gaming mode via spectrum with 66 Hz version I noticed cpu temps are really nice just under 50°C while playing Cod and pubg without any fps drops while on any kernel it always above 60°C .
Just curious to know what magic is this.
It would be great if Dev can explain just a bit what tweak is this.
better touch responses over twisted
better battery life over optimus drunk
reletively faster 4g connectivity
using it for last two days
#Impressive
I'm on stock miui 11 with optimus drunk kernel. I want to try this kernel. But what rom do i need to flash as in the instructrion?

First Flash stock kernel then flash this kernel.
If you have backup. If you don't have then flash the rom again and flash kernel
Will this work on latest miui global Q version?
