This is my custom kernel that I've been using personally since the Nexus 9 was released. I have started updating it more frequently, and it has some unique features that other kernels on this device do not have currently.
Some of the features include:
SELinux Permissive (for root on M)
Faux's Intelliplug
Custom Governors:
bioshock, blu_active, lionheart, zzmoove, yank active, intelliactive
Arm64 topography
BFQ Scheduler (my clear favorite, there are others!)
Graphite Build Optimizations
Uber 5.3.1 aarch64 Toolchain
Linux 3.10.98 (always will be the most current linux stable)
CPU Overclock
No forced encryption
Instructions:
Flash zip in recovery
Flash SuperSU for root

Quick question, does it have the no force encryption also? Didn't see it in the OP.
Thanks.

From my understanding it's not the kernel that forces encryption, but the fstab included while flashing whatever rom. If I'm wrong I will add whatever is necessary to kernel.

fstab is always in ramdisk (so it's inside boot.img). You need to unpack and patch fstab.flounder and fstab.flounder64 (replace forceencrypt to encryptable). I wrote a quick flasheable zip yesterday to edit those files in TWRP, but maybe I missed something and that weird message of corrupted device appears in early boot. After that I flashed fire-ice kernel and it boots normally. I can share my zip with you if you want.

Thanks I didn't think of it that way since I usually build ROM+kernel together and end up editing fstab in my device files.

I've installed Ubermallow + Slim gapps and ninja kernel. It's smooth and all is running fine and smooth. Kernel is great as far as I can tell.

Running great here too... What settings do you have? Never seen bioshock or zzmoove... I'm on bioshock now with hotplug enabled and SIO (CFQ is for hard drives). So far everything seems good (performance and battery).
I run BioShock or Lionheart usually, always underclocked...I don't typically hotplug but as far as schedulers bfq.

Removed some debug and logging options
Enhanced performance and battery patches
Several CPU Governors (blu_active own governor is default)
Voltage Control UV_mV_table
Enhanced TCP methods (westwood is default), Network and Wifi tweaks
Several I/O control (FIOPS is default), tweaked filesystems (F2FS, ExFAT, NTFS & CIFS available)
Disabled stock mpdecision and thermald, removed artificial throttles (core hotplug, frequency and battery)
blu_plug: Dynamic hotplug for shamu, with screenoff battery saving (max dual core @ max_freq 1190400)
msm_thermal simple driver (default 65º C threshold)

CDROM emulation added to mass_storage (full Drive Droid compatible)
init.d support (busybox run-parts required), Kernel cleaner script
Compatible with Kernel Adiutor, Universal Kernel Manage and others
DOWNLOAD KERNEL ZIP
Warning: If you come from other kernel, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing blu_spark zip to avoid problems.
Reflash ROM -> flash SuperSU -> Boot device and install busybox -> flash blu_spark.
Also uninstall or clean data of any kernel control app you're using.
Root is now available in Marshmallow 6.0 in enforced mode thanks to chainfire.
In stock (or stock derived) ROMs follow the steps bellow. In pre rooted custom ROMs you should only need to flash blu_spark zip
Just go to SuperSU thread and download the kernel zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/wip-android-6-0-marshmellow-t3219344
Extract the boot.img (not a flashable zip)
Go to recovery, flash boot.img, flash SuperSU v2.50+, flash blu_spark

So far I like. Its big but the quality of screen on surf and watching HD movies and such.
Also performance is amazing, specially with encryption off.
Battery is not that bad, on my daily task seems to last a little longer than hammerhead. During the night no t even 1% drop
The downsides I found so far: vibrator seems more loose and rattle a little.
The screnn colors are good, but it goes pink on low brightness. But this is not really an issue, I can't use so low brightness even at night, seems like minimum level of hammerhead with dimmer on 2: is just too low.

This kernel is made for the Moto X Style/Pure (xt1575). I have not tested it on the xt1572. If you would like to test it be my guest. This kernel was based off the wok done by AICP and Hashbang173 . I wanted to bring the custom kernel features into a cm based environment. The features brought over were originally done for a stock kernel setting by dirtyhank and his Frankenclark kernel. I have optimized the settings to work with BlissRom. My goal is to provide better battery life surrounded by a stable experience. I will add more features as I go... I planned to just make this the default kernel on BlissRom, but with the overall lack of development for this device and the overwhelming support I got for it. I have decided to offer it as a standalone download as well.
WARNING
I have tested this kernel....With that said. I DO NOT hold any responsibility for what you may do to your device with this product. Also make a proper backup before flashing.
Features of the Kernel
Kernel Version 3.10.95
color control (Kcal)
Underclocking (302mhz)
KSM & UKSM
Voltage readings
Fsync option (on/off)
Touchboost option (on/off)
MultiRom Support
DoubleTap2Wake/Sweet2Wake
Added Govs - ElementalX, Intelliactive, Lionheart, BioShock, BluActive, Wheatley, InteractiveX & Interactive
Bricked Hotplug
Added I/O schedulers (SIO, FIOPS & Zen)
And much more...
To Install
Be on a custom rom (also test with cm base so far)
Download ZIP
Reboot to Recovery (I have only tested on TWRP 3.0)
Flash
Wipe Cache
Reboot
ENOY
Downlad PureBliss Kernel
I currently use Kernel Adiutor for my kernel settings. It had also been tested and works with EX Kernel Manager

Tried on RR 5.6.4 and don't have access to internal storage and sdcard on any file manager i.e. /sdcard, /mnt/sdcard and any other dirs/symlinks at /mnt are empty. Will try now on BlissRom.
But perfomance is awesome compared to stock RR kernel.

Can you please explain the difference between BlissPure kernel and PureBliss kernel(if there is any?)...I've looked around and am still confused. I've downloaded them both and they're the same size just named differently. Either way i've flashed one of them over the maintenance build of Bliss ROM and its running smooth and I'm getting great battery life for first cycle
I think it has just been renamed to roll of the tongue more. I actually suggested it to him lol, as it makes more sense in english to call is pure bliss, than bliss pure. Sorry if my suggestion caused any confusion, that was not my intention. It's a great kernel!

It's on Resurrection Remix. Use any custom kernels on that ROM and normal user loses access to internal and external sdcards.
Seemed like a permissions problem. Built-in file manager and Gallery could no longer see files, but Root Browser was ok using this kernel on RR. Sorry, I didn't troubleshoot it more thoroughly than that or get any logs.
updated posted http://downloads.blissroms.com/Bliss/Official/clark/kernel/PureBliss_Kernel_v.1.1.zip
Thanks. Working fine with CM13 build too.
Running with cm13 build, so far, I am not experiencing delays, phone seems faster,
overnight drain is normal. Haven't had screen on delay when pressing power button yet.
So far, not bad. I'm using Elementalx kernel manager and I don't see any hotplug settings, CPUs hover at 302 most of the time, no deep sleep on any of them. Anyone else have that, or just me? Using the most recent zip with Temasek.
Edit:
Moved to Kernel Adiutor and hotplug is there. Moving on, thank you much!
I am just wondering if dt2w is actually working? I thought I read somewhere that it breaks something but for life of me can't remember

Backup the boot.img in recovery.
ElementalX makes no other changes to your phone, just replaces the boot.img.
Version 1.03 adds fingerprint fast wake up option, to enable (or wait for the next update of EX Kernel Manager)
echo 1 > /sys/module/sunwavecorp/parameters/fast_wakeup
This will wake up your screen immediately when the fingerprint sensor is touched, including non registered fingers.

DOWNLOAD KERNEL ZIP (No mirrors please)
Warning: If you come from other kernel or have any issues, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing blu_spark zip to avoid problems.
Reflash ROM -> if you want root flash SuperSU or Magisk (default, no plugins/modules) -> flash blu_spark.
If you are already rooted or upgrading between blu_spark versions, just flash the kernel zip. Also uninstall or clean data of any kernel control app you're using.
About bugs and troubleshoots: don't bother to post if a log isn't ready or without steps so the behavior can be replicated. I only active support stock EMUI with NO mods whatsoever (apart from root). That includes NO support if using xposed, Magisk with modules, etc.
If you're using custom ROMs (including EMUI based ones) you're on your own. I'm only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable EMUI.
Save the SOT and battery stats/screenshots for general threads, here we deal with development, not personal tastes and results.
Also don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" , no OT about OTAs, apps, ROM bugs, Recovery/TWRP troubleshoots and other userspace stuff. There's threads for it, use them.
Going back to stock: This kernel installer doesn't change your filesystem (systemless).
You can backup your ramdisk.img and kernel.img with TWRP before flashing blu_spark if you want to go back to full stock or just dirty flash your full ROM.
If you like my work, donations are always welcome.

blu_spark r8
All right crew!
blu_spark has made to Honor View 10!
First build is up :highfive:
Lot's of stuff merged in, we now have a nice and stable baseline to work with.
More of the usual missing goodies to come in future builds :fingers-crossed:
It was tested in L04 model with latest EMUI 8.1.0.105 so any other FW your results may vary.
To install you must use TWRP, @Pretoriano80 Unofficial TWRP is recommended.
You must have stock (or rooted) ramdisk and kernel before install.
blu_spark_r8-view10_66f0c4b.zip
build: use Linaro GCC 4.9.4-2017.01 for now
First kernel build with too much stuff to talk about, check git
ramdisk and installer changes to match View 10 stuff

Keep it real, keep it true, keep it blu :highfive:
Keep in mind: I will give no active support for custom ROMs (including EMUI based ones).
Meaning, if using anything besides stock and stable EMUI don't bother posting about it.
I am only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable EMUI (with logs and reproducible steps to replicate the issue).
Don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" or debugging features.
Also don't go spam and bug reporting on ROM threads if using this.
No mirrors please

No charge changes at the moment.
If fw is 8.1 should work, otherwise I don't know. Backup, try and let us know.

BKL-L09 is still with 8.0 emui.
I doubt this will work, but will try this later. It would not brick my phone right? Just need to back up stock kernel and fish it, if phone doesn't boot then flash backedup kernel. Right?

(note, if you read the thread a little [like the couple posts above you], you'd see that it really only works on the US version, but, do what you want....)
Try to enable bonding mode inside defconfig, most of the new wifi driver support this option

I can checknit out, but some OEM don't enable that on 2.4G because it can introducr wifi issues with some APs.

Back again!
You may remember me from my SkyDragon roms/kernels and HolyDragon kernels for OP6/OP6T/OP3/N6/M8/M7/G3 among other devices. This is the latest sm8150 kernel+audio source from OnePlus. For now just some latency reductions and a couple listed features while I work on optimizing it. No plans for any overclocking cpu/gpu that slowly kill your phone. No plans to upstream anything as most of the time there's either no benefit at all or it performs worse than stock. I don't care about f2fs and recommend only ext4 as the stock filesystem. My only goal, as always, is to get the best performance *and* battery life out of our phone as possible. Kernel zip uses Anykernel3 by Osm0sis to install so no fear of losing root or ramdisk changes or anything.

SkyDragon OOS Magisk Mod

Frequently Asked Questions
Before issues should be reported:
1. Rom needs to be clean flashed
2. No Xposed, AKT Profiles, Helix Engine, other magisk modules, or other mods, etc.
3. Do not restore any apps with TiBu or Swift or some other app restoring application
4. No Substratum themes installed
If you can still reproduce the issue you're having:
1. Logcat/logs must be provided with your report in order to receive any support.
2. I also need a full description of what happened, what you were doing when it happened, and a way to guarantee-ably reproduce the problem. If I or my testers cannot reproduce it, not only will it likely not get fixed, it likely isn't even an issue with the rom/kernel.
3. Screen record or picture of the issue is also helpful.
If you're not familiar with how to get logs, you can reference this great XDA Thread here.
If you can't give logs for errors or possible bugs, I literally cannot help you solve it.
Can't wait to try this out! Thanks!!
This could be a really dumb question, but could the zip be flashed in TWRP from a USB DRIVE..?
Or within an app like EX Kernel Manager?

No and won't be until they can pass a security audit. Says right on their site not to rely on their code until they do.

Hey buddy,
I was having a look at CRC check and what it does.

I've noticed your commit is in the mmc driver but given that we have UFS3.0 (not emmc 5.1) and that we don't have a micro SD slot, isn't this a worthless change because we will never be using mmc based storage?
Regards,
Ravi

@HolyAngel I flashed the kernel with EXM and after reboot it shows me a message: "There is an internal problem in your device. Please contact your manufacturer."

If the same as on OP6, then you can dismiss it on each reboot. Last year it took a couple of weeks to figure out what caused it and it was subsequently addressed. It doesn't have any impact on the working of your phone.

Yeah most likely useless at the moment but the stock defconfig compiles the mmc driver anyways.

Yes this is the message on boot listed in the op that will be fixed soon. Can safely ignore it.
