When I turn on predictive text it does not say on. Same problem with auto replacement. Any suggestions.

Ok, to make sure you are in the right spot. Press and hold the MIC button on your text keyboard. Then a menu will come up then press the gear or settings button. If predictive text and auto replacement are not on, try pressing the reset settings button.

The Bluetooth button on the phone screen (during a call) has never worked for me. To turn on bluetooth I have to go back to home screen and turn it on from there. Is this only my phone or is this true for others?

I haven't used Bluetooth recently, but as an option you could also put the Bluetooth widget in the strip of notifications power widget, available when you pull the notification bar down. More convenient than on the in-call screen anyway.
Configure what widgets are present and what order they're presented in here -> Settings/CyanogenMod settings/Interface/Notification power widget
From there choose "Widget buttons" to choose what widgets to show, and "Widget button order" to change what order they're shown in.
Hint: If you unchoose all the notification power widgets from the "Widget buttons" menu, and then re-choose only the ones you want and in the order you want them, you won't have to re-order them in the "Widget button order" menu.
Thanks, I actually had the button on the notification screen, just hadn't thought of using it during a call yet. Good idea! I'm still curious why the in-call button doesn't work, but this will make it easy enough to turn on.
Just flashed from GSBv2.2G to GSBv2.5 this morning and haven't tried that bluetooth button on the phone screen yet.
I'm using the notification power widget and it works like a charm. Super fast compared to stock.

You're welcome! Probably just an oversight in the CM7 development.
Ok...
Whatsapp works, Email works. But SMS notification just doesn't...
Tried shutting down, changing ringtone, and even the power button+ volume down trick.Nothing is working.
SMS just silently comes in...
Help??
From within "Text Messaging" app, press the menu button [left most physical touch key].
Then go to "Messaging Settings". Scroll all the way down to Notification settings.
Adjust the settings accordingly to what you'd like.

Sometime i got a call, the keyboard suddenly opens and hide the accept and reject buttons. I cant able to swipe accept or reject. then the is missed.
Is anybody had this problem? how can i sort out of this.
Keyboard opens if you hold Menu button for long time.
Ok
Ok, if it is accidentally happens, how to revert back to call, is there any method to close the keyboard?
back key
But it's not work
But if i hit back key nothing happens, actually the screen back to home, but the keyboard remains same.
Do you have any mods on your phone?
Why does this happen? Does it have something to do with the qwerty.kl file?

Can't find the voice input button on the keyboard. I can switch to google voice input but I want a voice input key when doing texts sometime. How can I fix? I don't want to use s voice for this, I like the option of having the keyboard and Google's voice recognition a bit better.
Go to the keyboard when you are typing. Message. Click and hold on the settings button to the left of the keyboard.
While holding more keys will appear, slide to the microphone and viola...you will now have that as part of your keyboard.

Thank you, I would have never found it!
Ok, when I click the end call button on the phone it then displays the contact information. Is there a way to turn this off to just go back to the keypad instead with out hitting the go back button again? I have gone through every menu I could find but was unable to locate something that would allow you to turn this feature off or shorten the time it displays. Thanks in advance for your answers.

it should disappear after you press the end button or they press the end button unless you have an app to delay it but i dont know what it would be because ive never heard of something like that

It does disappear but when I need to make a call right after it stays up to long. I would rather it be a shorter time display.
