Samsung galaxy m250k stuck on a yellow exclamation button... - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently got a samsung galaxy 2 ( Model- m250k (korean) from my dad about three days ago..Because it's a korean model, I wanted to root it and remove all the korean apps. So, while rooting, I flashed jeboo_kernel_i9100_v1-2a as the insecure key instead of m250k's (my own model's insecure key) because I couldn't download it from hotfiles.. which in fact was the only site where it was.. and this website never worked/ webpage was unavailable...:cyclops:
After I rebooted my SG2 ,a yellow exclamation sign showed up and it didn't go away.. It appears beneath the Samsung galaxy logo and it never goes away,,,I have tried different methods already to solve it but it never goes away...
Will it go away if I use my m250k's (my own model's insecure key) and if so, where can I find the site to download it??? or Is there some other way to root it or bring everything back to normal--the way it was ?? I would really like to root but I don't seem to know the solution to it.. Should I take some technical assistance?
Please, help.. I don't wanna ruin my dad's gift either. . :crying:

Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Can you post your device info.
Eg: I9100 international version
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Yep, you're truly unique
Why not start with telling us your exact product and what happens when trying to get into both recovery and download modes.
my device is I9100 middle east version
it says when i remove the battery MODEL: GT-I9100G
problem description:
I turned on the device as soon as i bought it and it said 2.3.4
so I downloaded everything needed to root it and i started odien and everything went well....except for the fact that my galaxy got stuck with galaxy s logo screen and big yellow triangle at the bottom....and nothing else happen.... it says like this for hours and hours....
so i tried to go inot recovery mode...but nothing happens after doing the volume up+power+home ...still takes me to the previous screen with yellow triangle
tried download mode and it works fine....
i can go into download mode but not the recovery mode

You need to download files to use for your specific phone and try again. You said you have a GT-I9100G, right? Well, where did you get the files you used to root?
You also said in the title of this post that you installed XXKI3. Well, installing XXKI3 and rooting are not the same thing. Which did you do? Root using an insecure kernel? Or install an XXKI3 firmware?
I'm going to go ahead and guess that you tried to flash a firmware intended for the regular GT-I9100, and not the GT-I9100G. These two phones have different hardware, so firmwares are NOT compatible.
Amirite?
first I tried to root it using insecure kernel...when it got stuck with galaxy s 2 logo screen with yellow triangle.... I searched all over the net for a solution and one of the solutions was is to flash xxki3 ....and I did that.... but it always fail.... I also tried to flash litening rom... but at the end...it fails at MODEM stage i believe....
Now all i want is to get my phone working....I dont wanna root it anymore....
please guys please help me
Stop flashing it.
You are doing more damage.
You have the 9100G, but you're flashing 9100 stuff
I am not flashing it anymore.... but I need a solution.... I want to know how can I get it back up and running
please help me

[Q] GT 9100T Vodafone Australia possibly soft bricked

Samsung galaxy s2 GT 9100T vodafone Australia
Tried to root with Odin, got to the stage of superoneclick 1.9.5 (the recommend version) and it basically crashed.
Now all I get is a Samsung galaxy SII logo along with a yellow warning signal (exclamation mark) and it just hangs there.
I can get into download mode still...but I cant seem to progress from there.
I have scoured this site for hours, Everything I look at has files which no longer downloads (multi upload doesn't seem to exist)
I am tearing my hair out trying to find out what to do.
I dont even know how to find my firmware version as I didnt write it down (stupid).
I have ordered a jig, but I don't know if that will help in any way.
Any advice?

You don't need jig if you can get to download mode still. All the jig does is get you to download mode (and reset the flash counter if you still have older bootloaders). Just download the latest Vodafone Australia firmware from samfirmware.com, and flash it.
To root, use CF-Root method. It's super easy, and basically one step.
Cf root is the easiest way, got a 9100t too, im not sure the superoneclick was suitable for the T so i didnt do it. i remembered i tried superoneclick and my antivirus killed adb and i got the same signal too, samsung p1000
you need to reflash, you can still save your phone.

Bricked Samsung GT-19100

Hi,
I have spent the last half day viewing various threads on bricked galaxy and tried some workarounds to no avail
I rooted my galaxy s2 with the K14 root and after I got a pass in Odin3 I the phone rebooted with the Samsung home screen and I got the yellow triangle with an exclamation mark.
I have tried the workaround on this site but I am not sure which stock kernel is for my model because I did not write down the full part named in the about of settings.
Is there anything that I can do to restore this to stock kernel please?
Found stock kernel for i9100 on a dutch forum. Download the zImage.zip. You need to flash that onto your phone.

Firstly some advice.. You need to use proper topic titles that briefly describe your topic, not silly generic meaningless ones like "help me".
The yellow triangle is normal as it means you have flashed new kernel. It can be removed by using "Triangle Away" app. You would have known this if you had used a simple search for "yellow triangle" on this forum. In future use search.
You cant use kies unless you have stock kernel/rom as far as I know.
"bricking" a device has nothing to do with yellow triangle or lack of kies connection. A bricked device is when it wont power on or you cant flash via recovery/download modes. This is caused if you wipe data/factory reset using stock recovery on Samsung/Android 4.0.4 or if you corrupt bootloader via a bad flash in ODIN or if battery runs out during flash etc.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 Phone Rooting

Hello everyone
I am very new to this website as I just signed up and registered today. I am currently having a problem with my android phone, and I cant figure out how to resolve it.
The problem that I am having is that last week I was updating my phone when something in the device and caused my phone to become bricked. And after spending many hours on Youtube I finally found a video that helped me recover my phone by flashing the phones memory with clockworks recovery using odin and I was able to get my phone back up and working. But now whenever I turn my phone on I see the yellow triangle appear on bootup and I want to get rid of the triangle.
I downloaded the apk file for triangleaway but in order for me to be able to run it on my phone my phone needs to be rooted, and I have tried many ways to root my phone but it still says that my phone does not have root access.
My phone is a Samgung Galaxy Ace X II
Model Name GT-S7560M
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
