Really interested to flash that ROM onto my Prime. Just that there isn't one specifically made for our TF201. Anyone capable of doing it? Here's a guide posted by them themselves. Just that I'm not skilled in it. :x Thanks in advance to whoever that can help!

There wouldn't really be too much point as one of the main features of Parandroid is having tablet mode which.....errr you have as its already a tablet. A lot if work for something you already have.

Actually, part of why people like Paranoid Android so much is because of the ability to not only change modes (tablet, phablet, phone), but also set per-application DPI, size, and modes to change how each fragment operates.
Example: Youtube uses two modes (phone/tablet), and I like the phone mode better. But, I can't use it. Even restoring a phone APK of Youtube results in the tablet UI. PA lets you define Youtube and make it act like a phone!
That kind of flexibility is very powerful, and useful until we get powerful, properly built tablet apps with all of the features we desire. A lot of work? Sure. Possibly worth it? Definitely.

like what Akkeresu said below, it's not only the ability to change modes(although that's what I want most). And plus, who says I wanted tablet mode since I already have it? -.- I want it to look and feel like a Nexus 7. Which is only possible with this ROM as far as I know.

Actually no. The developer of PA quoted this, "no, but someone else can. if you have cm10 you can have pa aswell. it would run right away, theres barely any adjustments to make on our side and aosp is the same on any device anyway, no matter if phone or tablet." So yeah, he said it doesn't really need much tweaking from their side. Just hope someone can just help out to make this happen..:good:

I can do this quite easily as already have done it once for the prime.
The thing is I really don't have the time to keep remaking it constantly and re uploading new nightlies so if you wait a bit longer for some of the bugs to be ironed out I will knock one up but then I will only make a new one once a month or so.

I 've been looking for a way to get the Nexus 10 UI on my TF201 for like a week. Ofcourse I ended up nowhere. I can get all but the <back> <home> <app switcher> buttons to get in the middle of the bottom, and the rest of the status bar on the top. So during my search i came across the capabilities of the PA Rom. Sadly, I then discovered that the rom is not available for the TF201. Was ready to post in the Q&A section for "how to get the nexus 10 UI on the tf201" but figured i 'd take a look at this thread, and just saw your comment.
so.. in a nutshell, unless you can point me to the right direction (another direction; a way to get the Nexus 10 UI on the TF201) i 'm bumping the request posed with this thread, and ofcourse thanks for your willingness to develop!:good:
Why not just go one better and port Toasted Marshmallow?

I have a working build over at Rootzwiki, if anyone wants to check it out.
Why has this been locked?? There are no ICS ROM's that are any good??? Santod's basic ROM is just debloated stock.....
I really don't understand why they find the need to play God around here.... There are no ROM's!!! At this point there is no reason for an XDA Thunderbolt page!
STOP LOCKING THREADS... WHO GIVES A CRAP THAT IT IS OFF SANTOD'S BASE... THIS IS WHY THE PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE ANDROID... TOO MUCH POLITICS AND BULL CRAP.. JUST LET THESE GUYS MAKE GOOD ROMS SO WE CAN ENJOY OURSELVES...
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BUILDING OFF OTHER PEOPLES WORK.. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S CELL PHONE SOFTWARE!
JESUS H CHRIST..,..
Where can I find this ROM now? It has been removed from roots wiki as well?
5 custom ICS roms and 4 stock roms >>> HERE
Look around, there is more then just a stock rom there.
Don't speak about something you do not know the details of.
XDA has rules, so do other sites and when it comes to disrespecting me and the source from which you got your materials from, I then have rules too.
Besides, I have been told numerous times now that what I contributed wasn't anything, and easy enough to do.
So there should be no problem with it standing in any real devs way.
They simply make their own base and move on.
So crying about it is unnecessary for anyone involved, including me.
Everyone just does their own thing and moves on, simple as that.
I am hating on you Santod.. I have a lot of respect for you and i am sure everyone does.. I am on your rom right now.. The non eternity one... And it is honestly awesome, i just want a more aosp rom, i know you have a desense rom in the making but it has been pulled for weeks now.. I wanted to see mack, you, and jester all make a combined kick ass rom.. I am crying because i just want to see the tbolt finally succeed and with the help of all you great devs and hopefully an htc source code release.. The day may come.. I think you should all work together... Everyone respects all the devs but its awesome to see you guya work together.

Check the last few pages of the thread....
I believe I posted 3-4 updates on that rom, this week alone.
Wow now I remember why I just got over this phone and moved on. Santod040 is the only one that attempted to integrate the patches into gb to get ICS for you guys. It wasn't a typical ruu, a lot of work had to go into that integration. And then everyone acted like it was open season on his work. His attitude might have been better if he was ever asked in the first place for it to be used. But he wasn't, and none of the other ICS roms really were any different than any of his. And I have seen a lot of people say that integrating the patches was easy work, but yet no other dev has done it themselves. There's a difference between development and taking someone else's rom zip, theming it, adding other tweaks also developed by someone else, and calling it yours.

This is a pretty good explanation of where I think santod is coming from even though it isn't coming from him directly. All of you are acting like it was some walk in the park or something to assemble the ota but it sure is taking all of you a lot longer than it took him to do.

Not really trying to speak for him, just back him up. It seems the easier rooting/roming becomes the less people seem to understand (or care to understand) what goes into development. They just want it now and don't care how they get it.

Everybody respects Santod... but his ROM's are not on XDA they are on Infected Roms.... I am on his NuSense Rom for a while now.... It just seems ridiculous that Mack and Santod could not work together IMO... Now if Mack was refusing to give Santod his fully deserved credit for the Base and Stock Rom then yeah I understand.
I am not hating on Santod what so ever... I am getting the best battery life ever on his NuSense Sense 3.6 Rom... With Nova Launcher it actually moves pretty nice too for stock kernel...
Let's be honest though... Sense 3.6 sucks... Sense Sucks... We all want AOSP.. That is not happening until the Source get's released... so a Desensed Rom is something of extreme interest.
I can not wait for the Jelato Santod Rom to be done... I just figured maybe Mack or Jester may be able to throw Santod some ideas maybe and before you know if we would have a 10x better DeSensed ROM then if it was just by one particular Dev.
Yeah I mean the only thing that bugs me is that while Santod makes a good rom, he cant help himself from customizing it the way *he* likes it, and not the general public at times. Every time I use one of his roms I'm like "wow, amazing performance, sweet battery life, all the features but wtf is up with this font? Why this theme?". It'd be like getting a rewritten AOSP rom built from HTC's source, and then shipping it with a hello kitty theme I liked Mack's work because it had that truly vanilla feel to it with all the under the hood tweaks a launcher like Apex can offer. The new Jelato rom actually runs worse than the unsense rom, albeit just slightly. It's certainly better than Sense, but still kinda leaves something to be desired.
I guess what I ultimately dont get is why anybody cares if someone else rips off your work. It's not like either of them are being paid here, which means it all comes down to fame and recognition. If your motives are pure, and you are simply doing this for the community, then you should be happy that someone went and tweaked a new flavor of your rom for everybody to use. Why there's this whole desire for credit is beyond me. Seems kinda conceited. "How dare you steal my charitable donations!" What have you got to lose?
Like I said, I really dont want to see just one rom developer out there. If santod is the only one left with the skill to properly port these things, then he should be supportive of others customizing his work. It does do him or the community any good to horde all his development unless there's some sort of financial incentive in it for him and he needs revenue from this somehow. And if he gets bored or offended and quits then the TB community just dies forever? That sucks. If the only people left willing to contribute are kanger's, then let them! We cant have our entire community rest in the hands of one developer.
I support and help anybody and everybody that treats me with an ounce of respect.
IT IS NOT ABOUT CREDIT!!!!
I could give a **** about credits or your complaints about my theming.
Maybe the theming is my way of saying it's mine.
The original UnSense was about as Vanilla as it gets really.
If you don't like what I have to offer up, then don't use it, it's simple.
If the fact that someone else left their rom half sense and half aosp makes it more vanilla for you, then fine.
Use his pieced together rom, I don't care.
What do you guys want from me?
Sure, treat me like an asshole, but feel free to help yourself to my stuff....
Anyone whining about this still, needs to get a life.
Any real developer wouldn't have batted an eye, made their own base and rolled along.
If what I contributed was "nothing" and easy to do, why all the fuss?
By the way, everyone else loves the theme, you happen to be the first to complain about how it looks.
There is this thing called UOT and another called apktool, maybe you should find those and learn to use them, before you go criticizing anymore work of others.
You may find yourself with ZERO rom options!
Any useful thread on the matter that is not just santod vs the world or people complaining about locked threads will not be closed.
This is not such a thread.
They serve no useful purpose for the community.
If you have issue with this PM me, I am not looking to "play God" or any some such activity, but the denizens of this community must be spared such drama as found in this thread.
Let's all work together to create a better development community.

I should've been less callous when I made this post, but I'm aware of your GE attempt, and it's time for a more experienced dev to make this ROM happen. I'm really tired of the radio issues with yours. I've tried nearly every update you have created since your original and it doesn't appear a whole lot of progress has been made over the last month, In fact I'm pretty sure your 4.6 edition with smoother than this last one.
I constantly have issues with the radio, and the carrier banner has yet to be even removed (much less fixed, although I would just be happy with it being removed).
I appreciate the effort, but Im hoping that someone can create a smooth GE dump and have it be done with. I absolutely hate touchwiz, and Im tired of this touchwiz AOSP skins when the real thing is so much better.
Nitro's Eclipse s4 GE dump is pretty nice, but it still has the same radio issues as yours. But at least he got the carrier banner removed. I kind of like the inverted stuff too, but ive been waiting months to see the power of the GS4 behind stock android.... without ANY issues

You know what I meant, i just used a bit of hyperbole. Its AOSP with TW elements underneath. The AOSP may go a little bit deeper than the skin, but its still pretty much AOSP outside and TW inside. TW inside was the OP's issue, and its inextricable from an S4 GE ROM. If you take all the TW elements away, its not really a GE ROM anymore. Unless Dubsy misinformed us, which I doubt.
And the OP's other issue, the radio, is pretty much always the main issue when porting from another device.
GE GS4s are getting the 4.3 updates as of today. Hopefully someone will come out with a 4.3 GE dump soon (that runs smooth)... fingers crossed

Got to say I am with you on getting a good GE ROM. I have not tried Dubsy's latest, but nitro's 1.5 is pretty dang smooth. I had a few data drops yesterday, but I didn't notice any today (didn't use the phone as much, though), so if the data drops, it must come back. Going to be on radio all weekend, so I will get more experience with it. I think its stable enough for a DD.
Both Nitro's and Dubby's run fantastically with no data drops!

I am really hopeful for Nitros. I was using his yesterday and liked it, but I still would like the radio to be ironed out.
Dubsys had many little issues that made it impossible to use on a daily basis. One problem I continue to have is that any phone number starting with "+1" must be redialed without the +1... half my contacts are like that and it is incredibly annoying.
For the amount of time Dubsy has had to work on it, I feel like this issues should've been addressed by now. I think I speak for a lot of the community here when I ask for a more experienced developers help on this GE port.
There is not and will not be a Google Experience S4 for Verizon. Porting the international version requires a ton of adjustments to make the radio functional for us. Dubbsy has really stepped up for us and done way more than he initially planned. Nitro took that base and added some nice things as well. Without their work, we may not have anything GE-related at this point. Be patient and have fun with what we get. Not good enough? Become a dev, or switch to AT&T.

True, but I actually am fairly upset, because while dubbsy claims to be doing this project, it may be detracting other devs from taking on the project themselves. I am getting tired of flashing each *new* update, which doesn't appear to be fixing any of the bugs. Then I have to odin, re flash etc etc, which takes hours of time. In my experience from other phones, 98% of roms are works in progress through the life of the phone. Yes most get to a "stable" point, which is subjective, but unless they're heavily stock-based it takes awhile if it ever gets to that point. Coming from an HTC phone I have seen devs jump ship due to forum/community issues, so I may be sensitive to these types of comment. I

I really don't care if you're upset to be honest. Don't follow my threads, and don't use my roms... Pretty simple really.
From the beginning I posted a proof of concept to prove data alone, nothing else. I said for devs to contact me and I'd send the files for them to maintain. When it was clear no one was going to pick up and run with it I started modifying the framework to be at least a bit more stable. With the open offer still out there to share a fully decompiled GE working folder in a shared cloud.

What "development" do you expect? With Xposed and a plethora of modules, there really is no need for specialized custom ROMs. All you need is a rock-solid base and off you go. You can even theme everything in the phone with the LG Apps Theme Engine.

I used hyperbole. The fact remains that reaching out to devs directly will have far more effect than posting threads here.
It's not like they'll magically swoop in here and say "Oh guys, so sorry we haven't made anything for your phone yet, we'll get right on it!"
If you want to see action, post on Cyanogen's forum, open a github issue, or PM/mention devs who developed for LG phones in the past to see what their opinion is.
I can understand wanting to flash ROMs and such, it can definitely be fun, and it's good to have alternatives. But maybe i'm getting old, but i'm a bit tired of it nowadays: the bootloops, certain things not working, having to start over, the time wasted, missing phone calls from your girlfriend because you bootlooped and are constantly booted in recovery lmao. I think OEMs have come a long way since the early days of Android, so i'm usually good with rooted stock now, or a deodexed version. This phone already runs pretty great out of the box, so maybe try and enjoy it as it was made to be. And for sure with the Tmo model rootable, there's xposed, tweakbox, etc. But i definitely understand, OP, even flagship phones don't necessarily have as many custom ROMs as they used to.
The V10 is an awesome phone... But specialty development (cyanogen mod, AOSP) is going off a bit... First off development doesn't just happen... This is a brand new phone model, and although it uses a lot of the G4's hardware, there are a lot of differences, second screen being the biggest, also, t-mobiles version is currently the only one world wide with root access. Further hurting our chances. As for other flagship models, carriers and manufacturers, have been making it harder to root and modify phones... Which has been scaring development away... (why buy a phone you may never be able to modify?) if you want phones with a ton of options for development, I suggest you stick to either nexus devices, and /or something similar to the S series phones... That gets a ton of development... Plain and simple, T-Mobile is the only carrier on earth that doesn't care what you do to your phone. And from a development standpoint, this phone has only been out a little over 2 months, and currently has one model world wide with root access so unless someone Crack the bootloader on other models, or systemless root access becomes a reality with marshmallow, it's probably going to be a slow go... If you really want CM on your V10, (not sure why when you can strip this down to bare bones) you could build us all a rom... Seeing as you believe it's so easy...

Thank you @ZDeuce2 and @YrrchSebor for telling it like it is. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Plus I'd say nowadays in many cases, you lose more than you gain by erasing the software that skilled professionals have developed for your phone. Like you said, those guys good lol. Maybe carriers and/or other corporate/financial concerns might dumb things down or limit features, but root can be plenty enough to open things up for savvy users.

I agree. Outside of Nexus devices I found that Cyanogen has never had proper quality control and the maintainers do whatever they want. Random things are constantly broken and are never acknowledged or fixed. You never know whether a new nightly would fix things or just break things more, even if you followed the commit logs. It's certainly more of an enthusiast's endeavor rather than a rock-solid daily driver OS.
Then there is the garbage camera image quality on non-Nexus phones - the proprietary image processing libraries and other stuff from stock ROMs are just unrivaled and Cyanogen has never been able to match stock camera quality.
I found that especially in the last year or so, stock ROMs have really become robust and polished and I simply do not need to flash Cyanogen anymore to "unsuck" my phone. Root and Xposed are enough to clean up and customize the stock ROM the way I like it and make my phone perfect.

Only thing I would love to see is layers support added, then we would truly have a beast on our hands...

It doesn't work yet? There's a thread on it, so I tried it and it did theme some stuff, but maybe it isn't fully working? Plus I could swear that my system update center broke after using the Inverted UI module

It needs in rom support, which we don't have yet, to fully work completely. Probably why it seems like it broke stuff...

If I knew how to build, and had a computer that wasn't a Commodore 64, I'd give it a shot, but as slow as my comps are we'll have well have Android Orange Cremesicle before it finishes building...

LOL! Well, if I knew how to code, I could do it, but I don't... so yeah. Unless adding the support is simpler than recoding a bunch of APKs?
While more development is always great, I'm very happy with debloated and deodexed stock-based ROMs for the V10. @siraltus has done good work, and that's really all I need, the ability to root, run Xposed and be free from bloatware. I'm sort of over Cyanogenmod in terms of actually flashing it myself. The importance of CM in the history of Android can't be overstated, but for a device with such specialized hardware as the V10 (secondary display, DAC/Amp, etc.), I don't think CM would ever be as good as a stock-based ROM.
I even prefer a stock theme nowadays.... At least it's consistent throughout the system, and I know I'll be able to read any and all text on my phone lol.

Nothing like a random white text on white background screen and you have no idea what it says... LOL.
