Need help unbricking a soft bricked phone - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys, my cousin owns a Symphony Xplorer W92 running Android 4.2.1. Yesterday, when I tried to install CF3D Driver(via Chainfire) it turned off and got bricked. Now it gets stuck in the boot logo whenever I try to turn it on. I tried resetting it via recovery menu but it doesn't work. Also it doesn't have a "Downloading Mode" so I can't use Odin or anything to flash the stock ROM.
Currently I possess its stock ROM but it's not in a .zip format so I can't flash it from SD Card.I archived the ROM in update.zip but it doesn't work.

Hey, if you have the stock rom why not flash through MTKDroid tools?
And were you using custom recovery naki Stock recovery running?

Vai apnake Thanks. Ami Stock ROM e use kortesilam.
I was running Stock ROM and also is it possible to flash Cyanogenmod or any other custom ROM in this phone?

MTKDroid Tools doesn't detect my phone nor does SP Flash Tool

Nah man. Couldn't find any custom rom or custom recovery for w92. You should just stick to stock with Xposed. Development dekhe next time phone kinio.
And did you follow all the correct steps to connect to MTKdroid tools?
If you want I can help you through the process.
Hit thanks please! I'm working hard helping people.

I'd really appreciate it.
Note : I accidentally cleared eMMC, can it be the cause of my phone not getting detected by SP Flash Tool or MTKDroid Tools?

If its not getting detected just by SPFlash, then you're doing it wrong but if it's not being detected even by MTKDroid tool then check your drivers. If they're okay then I guess your eMMC has done it. Some android roms keep their important files in the eMMC. So maybe this stock did something similar and now it's just a blank phone. Just like if you format your C:/ partition on PC it's blank and the phone won't boot or work.
I suggest now you have to play dumb in the symphony customer care if you still have warranty. :v Cause if you don't have custom recovery they have no way to know you were a rooted user or you ****ed the phone up.
Go play dumb. :3
Symphony Customer care: Sir, phone is bricked. Did you root?
You: What is root?
Symphony Customer care: Never mind...
Amar sathe hoisilo :v

Vai, stock rom ke .zip kore SD Card e nie flash marlam but hoy na. Amar warranty 3 months age shesh hoise.

Which ROM did you try?
Was it meant for your device?
And as far as I know if its really a hard brick you'll need JTAG for it to be recovered.
Well it wernt a ROM it was magisk . damnit pokego
Well but the I fixed it
... It was just about sp flashtools... I'll probably make a correct thread about it
Did your recovery mode working or not? If it is then download any custom rom, place it on your external sd card and flash it. If not get the stock and flash it through Sp flash tool

At most you can install a custom recovery using fastboot (google it) and then install a ROM through it

[STOCK PARTITIONS] [QMobile Z8] [I5510] MODEM, SBL, ABOOT, RPM, TZ, MISC, PERSIST

NOTE-1:
I'm not a developer or something even near to that. All information provided here is copied from different internet sources and according to best of my knowledge.
I have created this flashable zip myself and tried this on QMobile Z8 only. It's similar to Wiko Ridge 4G and Blu Life One (2015) in hardware specifications.
I'll not be responsible for any harm to you or your device. It works perfectly for me. You may try it on your own risk.
Save / backup your data before continuing.
NOTE-2:
This flashable zip flashes MODEM, SBL, ABOOT, RPM, TZ, MISC & PERSIST partitions extracted from QMobile Z8 Lollipop 5.0.2 Factory Firmware. Read here more about partitions. However, this is not recommended method to flash these partitions (but it works). If something goes wrong, you may permanently brick your device. Instead, FACTORY FIRMWARE is the recommended method. So, don't flash this zip unless you clearly know why and what are you doing.
KEEP YOUR BATTERY CHARGED AND DO NOT INTERRUPT FLASHING PROCESS.
REQUIREMENTS
To flash zip, CUSTOM RECOVERY must be installed. If you don't have one, get here.
If your device is bricked and doesn't boot, try flashing factory firmware as explained here. Even if Download Mode isn't accessible, get official support for your device and pray for it.
STEPS
Download QMobile Z8 Stock Partitions flashable unsigned zip and place it on SD Card or Internal Memory (if you don't going to wipe it).
Reboot into Recovery.
Install zip.
Install ROM again (RECOMMENDED).
Enjoy!
Or extract the zip and COPY WHOLE PARTITION IMAGES of whichever partitions you want.

How did you flash?
Factory firmware or flashable zip?
If factory firmware, which flasher you used?
If zip, from where you got that?
What you mean by dead? No screen or black screen or boot logo?
What happens after pressing power button for 10+ seconds?
Recovery accessible?
Download mode or fastboot mode accessible?
Does computer detect it in download mode or fastboot mode?
What happens when connected a charger?

Reboot may occur due to a thousand reasons. Flash factory firmware. It must resolve the problem. Or a specific app might be causing the problem

No idea bhai. Logcat can help but I'm not good at reading logcats. If some app is causing problem, then try uninstalling all 3rd party apps and then check if reboot occurs. Then install apps one by one and check same.
You can also freeze apps instead of uninstalling.

Leagoo kiicaa mix

Hi all happy new year, I have a Leagoo kiicaa mix did the firmware and got a brick, how to restore.Thank you
mine lasted 3 days then when i turned it on it was bricked i got it into recovery mode but thats it it wont connect to SP flash tool any help would be great thanks
Turn off you phone download sp flashtool, install all the required drivers and the stock rom from needrom.com
Then open spflash tool extract the stock rom select the recovery file from the folder on the sp flash tool click the arrow then connect your phone via cable switched off wait a couple of min your phone would be flashed
Always flash the old stock rom not the new one because it blocks all the unauthorized things such as installing twrp
If you want to flash twrp download twrp.zip file and the magisk or the SuperSU zip switch off the phone open sp flash tool and select the twrp.recovery file and click the arrow key it would start install then connect your phone your phone would be flashed
Tips: after reinstalling the stock rom if your device got bricked do a couple of restart cause the stock recovery checks the app if not your phone could get soft brick so do this step
Also if you flashed the twrp but still showing stock recovery close spflash tool and just select the twrp file.
I think it should come off help
Sorry because of my poor english

[PROBLEM] [BRICKED PHONE] Doogee N20

Recently because of an error when it was flashing my phone got bricked. I tried to solve the problem by doing these steps:
1. I made a backup of another Doogee N20 phone (working phone, same firmware version as mine, but it has a locked Bootloader (If someone wonders why I don't unlock the phone's Bootloader directly, it's because the phone is not mine. )
2. I formatted the phone via SP Flash Tool.
3. I flashed the backup preloader.bin via Miracle Box (When I flash it via SP Flash Tool, at the end of flashing gives me an error) .
But when I try to flash everything except the preloader via SP Flash Tool, it gives me this error: STATUS_SEC_IMG_TYPE_MISMATCH
I read in this thread (forum.hovatek.com/thread-439.html) that the error may be because of the preloader.bin which was taken from a phone with a locked Bootloader.
If so, is there anyone who knows where I can get the latest version of the stock ROM? (Version of my firmware: DOOGEE_N20_Android9.0.0-20200228), (On the internet I found only the old firmware version, and it is not supported by this phone).
If not, tell me what I can do!
Thanks in advance!
Modified:
I fixed the problem:
1. I found an updated Stock ROM on internet (rom.oscarmini.com/doogee-n20/).
2. I formatted the phone via SP Flash Tool.
3. I flashed the preloader.bin via SP Flash Tool.
4. I flashed the entire Stock Rom except preloader.bin via SP Flash Tool.
5. Done (Boot normally).

First you need to select the scatter file of the downloaded ROM in SP Flash tool! (If you not choose the scatter file before going to format, it fails!) After that go into format section and tap start.

Hi so the fix for the doogee y9 plus brickedd comes in 2 forms
the normal brick and doogee n20 firmware variant to fix the doogee y9 plus after bricking if n20 firmware refusing flash is to
search google for doogee y9 plus fimware (in chinese, copy and paste some website need you to have account with them) there will be eea version the official firmware rollout version which will work with spflasher to unbrick your device
So if the posted method doesnt work search this in chinese(google translate) on google "doogee y9 plus firmware"
there will be a site i bilieve arabic? "halab ...."
there will be official songxlin eea, user, and russia firmware(user works best) (they work for y9 plus devices blocked from flashing n20 firmware )
