So I've looked at a bunch of how to videos, and guides, I've tried Towelroot, and GhettoRoot. I've spent hours attempting to root this PoS. I'm at my wit's end to be completely honest. So I decided to come here hoping to get some help. What do I need to do to root this unholy God forsaken device? I'm running OS 4.4.2, on Verizon. It's the i605 model. Can anyone help before I lose what little sanity I have left?

Hello everyone, im new here and I really got Intrigue in this ROOT thing. I'm suddenly interested in rooting my s4 i9505,which is just 2 months old,thats why I'm doubtful of rooting my phone because maybe it will get brick or i regret rooting it or anything , i just need quick questions to be answered, I already have little knowledge about rooting a phone, but here a my quick questions.
1)can I still like download from play store,when I root my phone?
2)what are it's advantage?
3)do i still get updates from the manufacturer when i root my phone? "ex, Phone updates,google, etc."
3.1)If i don't get any updates anymore,do I need to update my phone manually or by myself?
4)If do I root of my phone now, what are the chances that there will be problems?
Please help me, I would really like opinion on people who already rooted their phone,especially from people who has a Samsung Galaxy s4 i9505, Thank you!

2 so many do a search
3 no you cant update your phone if it is rooted
3.1 but you can update it by unrooting it temporarily using an app superuser
4 1 rooting will void your warranty
2 do it as clear as per the instructions for rooting else you will soft brick your phone you can unbrick that but take precautions
that's all take a risk friend
I have a specific situation, i flashed my Sprint Note 3 from Sprint to STraight TAlk. i need to root it now so i can have more control.
i heard about the CF root file thing, but im afraid rooting my phone will hurt the flash and leave me without service.
please, i implore for help
im not a dummy, but im not knoledgeble in rooting the note 3 and getting scared it will ruin my carrier CDMA flash.

Hi, newb here, I've been trying unsuccessfully to root my 4.4.2 VGN2 for a few hours now, and now seem to be stuck on the question of if it is even possible to root on 4.4.2 at this point. I haven't been able to find information pointing me in either direction edgewise, as most of the threads are outdated and new stuff is coming out all the time, so I figured I'd ask here. So, is it possible for me to root my phone if I'm already running 4.4.2? Or am I screwed? I'm running a SCH-I605 by the way. Thanks in advance.

I have a Moto E (XT1019) and it is bone stock. I have attempted to root this android many times and every attempt has been unsuccessful. I recently had to upgrade from KitKat 4.4.4 to Lollipop 5.1. ...Seeing as to unsuccessful attempts at rooting KitKat, again I am trying to root Lollipop. I believe I have tried every rooting method and one click roots there is, APKs and nothing gets accomplished but wasted time and impatience. I have been searching everywhere on google to get a stock firmware for this device however i can't seem to find it anybody has a stock firmware for the ZTE Avid 4 Z855 from MetroPCS some moron decided to root this device and it can't receive OTA updates because of the root. I tried different methods just in case: wiping cache partition, removing root, hard factory reset but it won't work so anybody can lend a hand or guide me to the right path? Would really appreciate the help.
I know calling the guy a moron is a bit harsh but in my unpopular opinion a device should be rooted or modified after it is done receiving OTA updates from its carrier to extend life of the phone especially if its a good phone.
