Battery Drain Problem. No Deep Sleep - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello,
I have Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i). For last three months I am experiencing battery drain issue (Batter drain within 5 to 6 hrs even if it is continuous a sleep). Same thing happens even with a new battery.
So I upgraded from ginger bread to ICS. But problem still remains.
Have checked BBS, my cell never goes into deep sleep. Have checked wakeup locks and found nothing that drain much of battery power (BTW my cell is rooted).
Yesterday I tried to plugin headphones (unplugged it after 3 to 4 sec) and to my surprise after that my cell goes into deep sleep. But after I restarted my cell, same problem arises again. I cleaned stereo jack with WD-40 and plugged in headphone and my cell goes into deep sleep but after restart problem occurs again.
Do anyone faces this issue? What seems to be the problem?
Thanx

[Q] Mysterious Battery Drop Between Turn On and Turn Offs

Hi guys,
Have you experienced mysterious battery drop between turn on and turn offs?
for example, one time when you turn off your tablet and the battery level is 50%. The next time when you turn it on, the battery level becomes 40% (maybe not this much, but maybe 6% - 7%) This problem has occured ever since I have gotten the tablet about two months ago. This caused me to have to charge the tablet without much use. I do not abuse the tablet and I only use it normally. The turn offs are full shut down, not idle. I have been using Flashback honeycomb firmware. But I think initially I had this issue when using illuminate at first too.
is this a common issue or just the battery indicator/firmware is not right?
Thanks.

[Q] Heavy battery drain since Update to 4.0.4 - What can I do?

Hello,
how you can read above, I have big problems with my battery since I did an update to Android 4.0.4 a few days ago. Before, I charged my phone 1-3 times a week. If I charge it now and pull off the charging adapter, my battery drains down to 0 within a few hours. After about 1 hour in Stand-By I have about 75-80% of battery life at the moment. Does anyone of you have an idea how this problem is caused? And if - what can I do against it?

I'm facing the same problem although my phone isn't rooted... And it is awake the whole time. I mean it, not a single second of deep sleep.

Don't do anything yet. Go and reboot your home router. Trust me. I had some crazy battery drain on my S2, not just on ICS but also on gingerbread. It had very little to do with the phone. Just reboot your home router and see if your drain stops. It stopped mine. I found out after I installed a data manager on my phone that my phone was downloading a hell of a lot of data, and no I am all on stock ICS. I got hardly any apps installed either.
And when I turned off WiFi and a 3G data, the battery drain used to stop. I rebooted my home router and and now my WiFi is always on and very little drain. Try it.
Better battery stats for finding your wakelocks and cpu spy to see if your device is deep sleeping
And a kernel that you can tweak

I don't know which member it was on XDA who suggested leaving the phone alone and just Rebooting your home wireless access point. But it has worked like a charm for me. No more battery drain. I don't know what the router is doing with the S2 but its causing a massive data spike in the Data stats on the phone. Reboot the router.
I found a solution for myself. Power manager service and fuel_alert were waking the phone. I just took the battery off for some minutes and voila! The phone goes into deep sleep again.

Hello,
it seems like my battery had been destroyed. I don't know how this could happen, but it happened. I turned the device off over night and wanted to start it this morning - nothing. No boot animation or something else. So I plugged in the charger - nothing. I waited about 20-30 minutes and tried to boot it- nothing. Then I tested the battery of a friend - and my phone was booting again. So I ordered a new battery for my phone at amazon.

[Q] ACER Liquid Z3 battery issue

Hi everyone!
About two days ago I decided to switch off my ACER Liquid Z3 after charging the battery to 100%. Now I am not able to switch the phone on in the first instance and when I use the AC adapter to start the phone, the battery shows 1% battery.
The strange thing is that when I leave the phone on overnight (8 hours), the battery only discharges by about 2%. So, assuming the discharge is constant, after two days the battery should be at about 88%.
The other thing to note is that I did a 'update' on this phone before switching it off. But this does not tell me if the update is causing the problem because I did not do this 2-day discharge test before the 'phone update'. Also, the phone is running on Android 4.2.2.
Another interesting observation is that when the phone is plugged into a power source, the cpu locks onto the highest frequency (~1000 Mhz) and when you disconnect the power source, the cpu frequency drops and stays at around ~598Mhz
Is anyone else with this phone having the same issues? If so, has anyone resolved it? I know other phones have experienced this issue in the past.
I have not noticed this issue. Generally when on my phone drops 1% over night.
I did try to use the power scheduler to turn it off at night. It turns the phone off but does not turn it back on! Interestingly if the phone is off the alarm works, but the damn thing will not come back on when scheduled.
So in the one test I have done I have not noticed significant battery drain when the power is off. Maybe its because the battery is new. Is it any better now?

[Q] Samsung GS3 REALLY weird battery issue.

I've looked through this forum, but the Only thing I have seen are normal battery drain issues. Mine is not.
I'd like to point out that my Galaxy S3 is the 16Gt non-4G unlocked "Nordic" or European version, and I haven't rooted it.
The problem is that whenever I'm out playing Ingress, and it's chilly outside (0 degrees celsius) the battery seems to drain really fast. I thought it was just because Ingress uses both GPS and internet, and that the screen is on all the time.
I use the phone until it shuts down because of battery. Then I'd plug the phone to the charger in the car, wait for 30sec, and after the screen has fully lit up(I have not yet turned it on) the graphic says the battery is over 50%. So then I turn it on, And the battery is @58%. I unplug it and continue playing. The battery drains real fast again. Then it shuts down. I repeat the above process, and after turning it on the battery is @54%.
Also, sometimes during this battery drain, @10% or so, the phone disconnects from the network. It is disconnected until the battery is at about 2%, then it regains the network connection for the short while it is still on.
I have GSAM battery monitor installed, and it drew a nice graph. I couldn't take a screenshot of it because GS3's screenshot taking is a pain in the arse and I just couldnt do it. But the Graph showed the battery draining from 60%->0% in ½h, then it suddenly started from 58% and drained to 0% in another ½h.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem? If so, have you solved it and how?
The phone was 4.1.2 until I updated it to 4.3 recently, and the problem was on both versions.

Are you rooted? Then you can try wiping battery stats...that might help...

Replace your battery.
This is clearly not a problem of the battery, as it does retain it's charge. The phone just doesn't know it until it's connected to a charger. Hence magical 1s charge-ups.

Bip Lite doesn't charge to 100%

I have the Amazfit Bip Lite for a couple of months, but all of a sudden the battery life dropped dramatically.
Upon inspection, I realized that when the battery ran out, I connected it to charge, but after only 10 minutes the indicator showed it's up to 100%
And of course, after disconnecting from power the % drops fast.
How can I fix it? I've already tried to factory reset it,
I am running version V1.1.6.58 on the A1915
Thanks!
Stuck with the same problem. Started from a week back actually. The first two charges lasted well over a month
Same problem
I'm facing same problem did u find any solution for that
