[Q] Am I still bound to my phone model for custom roms?

I have a P769 with unlocked bootloader, currently running AntonX CM 10.2 ROM.
Am I still bound to ROM's only for P769? Is it possible to run say MIUI v5 for a P760? I understand that there would be some hardware differences (no NFC, etc) so I may have a large battery drain due to this, but is it still possible?
I've wondered this too. Since we know we can flash p760 KDZ to our phone, I think it would be possible to flash a p760 custom ROM onto the p769 and then flash the appropriate fixes (touch screen fix).

It's not that difficulty to build yourself a MIUI v5 for P760. Both MIUI v5 for a P760 and CM for P769's source code are available. All you need to do is mix them. For example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2406614 a perfect mix of ANTONX & MATEO1111 's code.

Too bad there is no miui v5 for p760
Sent from my LG-P769 using xda app-developers app
the closest at the moment that has miui v5 looks like the P970 since it has a TI cpu. we need a l33t haxor to plug into the matrix

[Q]How to install Cyanogenmod 11 ?

I am a noob. I wanted to know how to install CM 11 on my ace 5830i.
and also what sort of things are working in latest builds of CM11 and what are the bugs.
It would be great if someone could give a link to a video for the above .

[Q] No Android L ROM I compile is booting

So it seems I can't boot any LP ROM I try to build.
I even tried to build ROMs that were built before and it's still not working. Stuck at the phone logo.
Any idea what might cause that? KitKat is building fine...
Yes, I am using Open JDK 7 for L.
Thanks!
