[Q] SwipeSelect for Android ? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I am looking for a application like "SwipeSelect" for IOS
This Tool adds a guesture over the keyboard "not swipe typing like swift keyboard"
It allowed you would set the cursor to any position on your typing.
That's much easier to fix typos, no more put your finger to the typo to fix it, just swipe to the left to set the possition.
Do anyone know a tool like this for android ?
I knows there is one ugly keyboard that supports this, but I hate this "Tyype" keyboard

Palm's (Access') Graffiti input

Just downloaded the Access Graffiti app yesterday. It is just like the Palm Graffiti from the old days. It's pretty awesome with the Note since we have a Stylus... er... S-Pen.
Anybody else use the app?
Q:
Any idea how to click "enter" when trying to submit a search?
Q:
I wish there was a way to do on the fly switching between keyboard and Graffiti. Perhaps this exists and I'm just missing it [?]. [it would be amazing if there was a way to default to keyboard unless the stylus was removed - but as far as I know the phone doesn't sense the presence of the stylus].
The phone does sense the spen.
Put the tip of the pen close to the screen but not touching and you will notice it keeps the screen from turning off

It doesn't sense when the S-Pen is removed - If I had one major gripe, I'd say that is it. It would be nice to have the screen turn on the moment you remove the S-Pen.
Hey man, I just downloaded the Graffiti for Android. It's actually pretty awesome. Now I just need to memorize the keys... I don't know if figured it out already but I have an answer from your first questions.
"Q: Any idea how to click "enter" when trying to submit a search?"
If you tap and drag from the top right diagonally to bottom left it is the command for "return". Actually you can see all the commands if you swype up. A little window will show up and you can cycle through the box of commands by tapping.
I love this Graffiti app!

[Q] Stock Android Keyboard - Switch to numpad

Hello,
i googled for quite some time now, but I couldn't find ANY answer. So I guess this is not possible but I thought I can ask here. Maybe someone knows something.
Is it possible, while typing with the stock android keyboard (Jelly Bean) to switch to the Numpad? I've uploaded two pictures to make things clear.
In the first pic you see the normal android keyboard. In the second one you see the numpad, but which only occurs if the text field only allows numerical input. What I want is to switch from the normal keyboard to the numerical one.
Example:
I am writing a note (in my fav. note app) or a sms. In this note/sms I type some longer Numbers (wlan-key, phone number, birthday... you name it). This is when I want to switch to the numpad, because I cannot describe how much I hate to input numbers when they are not in a 3x3 grid (like a numpad).
In the stock Android Keyboard, when I press the number button (bottom left) the numbers appear in a ROW on the top. I honestly don't get how people can type numbers with this.... It would drive me crazy. I could talk hours about how much i hate it. But I want to keep this kind of short
Swype has this feature: either hold the numbers key next to the swype button. Or swype from the swype-key to the t and the numpad appears. Really nice!
I was just wondering if something like this is possible for the Android keyboard.
greetings
PS: I tried a lot of different keyboards and only swype had both: swype input and numpad. Why? I think a numpad for numerical input is the best way to go. I really don't get why you want it any other way.
I dont know about the stock key board but swiftkey keyboard can also put the numbers in a 3x3 grid...although partially . I am attaching a screen shot
Hope this helped

Thank you for your reply. I forgot about SwiftKey. Last time I've tried it, something bothered me, but I cannot remember what it was. Maybe I give it another try.
But still I am curious about the stock keyboard. Because I refuse to believe they did not implement this feature, since I think it is quite essential. And when it comes to choosing a keyboard, it's a deal breaker for me.

Direct Pen Input without Samsung Keyboard

Hi everyone,
I'm not a fan of the Samsung keyboard but I wish to retain the Direct Pen Input functionality. I've seen that you can change keyboards and still hover over a text input field with the S-Pen and a blue T icon pops up for handwriting mode. However, this doesn't seem to work in all text fields - for example the message body text area in GMail or Google Inbox.
Is there any way to fix this? Is there an alternative keyboard I can use that allows me to activate Direct Pen Input mode? Ideally, I'd be able to use Swiftkey or GBoard and then trigger somehow hand writing mode when so desired.
Thanks!

Way of Switching quickly between virtual keyboards?

I use SwiftKey a lot and I like it
I found that a keyboard clipkey is a keyboard I would like to use sometimes when I do certain things where sending pre defined phrases to send.
Im looking for a way to quickly change between ClipKey and SwiftKey

Every android keyboard that you install and setup in the global input setting menu(input/language mostly) is active and you just need to use the keyboard switch on the top left of your status bar or if you have a nav bar where virtual keys appear you can set the keyboard switch button there.
That's it.

LG Keyboard

I want to type in the small screen to write in the big screen, but I want to use another keyboard (like Hackers Keyboard) instead of LG keyboard. Because I want arrow keys, CTRL key... Is it possible?
I think this phone would hace more productivity if that was possible.
Similarly. I use SwiftKey for most of my texting and everything in portrait mode. When I Wing the phone out I generally switch to the LG keyboard prior to opening the second screen. It's not as good for word prediction and everything but it allows you to move it between the upper and lower screens. I don't know of any other keyboard yet that has that feature besides the stock LG keyboard. Pretty easy to do. There's a little keyboard icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Click on that that will allow you to switch between keyboards.

I would like LG to add more symbols in its keyboard, mainly: arrow (cursor) keys, CTRL, ALT. These keys are perfect to edit text. I would like to communicate this matter to you so that you can make the keyboard more complete. It would be easy for them.

A quick way to move your cursor is you long hold on the spacebar and then you can slide your finger left and right to move the cursor. It actually works pretty well. And I hate to admit it, but I think they stole that idea from Apple.
I didn't know that feature! Thanks! It's good but it' s not enough. I need more like a PC keyboard with arrow keys, CTRL and ALT keys for my purposes.
Any changes with the Android 11 update?
Goof app to have on the phone
