I have a Blu Touchbook Pro 7, recently when trying to unlock it, the keyboard would not pop-up to type the password. After re-starting, and shutting the tablet down, the problem still remains. I tried looking for a hard reset option but I don't see any little hole I can insert a clip in.
So, when I tap the touchscreen the keyboard does not appear. For all other options the touchscreen works perfectly.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem???

Click to collapse
You don't need to go poking around in holes. Just hold down the Vol+ and the Power button. A little menu pops up. select "recovery mode" with volume down key, then run it by pressing volume down...and you will be in recovery. From there, select "wipe data/factory reset" and you will be able to reboot normally without the screen code (it is wiped as well as all of your data!)

This may sound a daft question but the alignment is so far out I cannot select the option from the menu.
Is there anyway to get it to re-align. I've tried a hard reset but can't get it to.
Thanks in advance
Emo
Try this
Press the "action" key then "calendar" button if you can't find the screen alignment function in your start menu. This should bring you to the screen alignment process.
Worked for me during my gsm error... hope it works for you too.
Many, Many thanks. This worked (once I'd worked out which one was the action key  )

Recently I am having problems with my phone, and am wondering if it is a software or hardware problem.
I have tried loading the TNT4 rom & WS5SE roms (this is a g4), and there is no change (im on the Tnt4 one now).
The touchscreen works okay, but the soft key buttons do not. The right bottom one is okay, the left one triggers the right one, the send button show the letters "uytga" on the phone screen when i press them, the end button shows "mn" or something, the camera button works perfect, the comm manager button is the same as the voice button (even when i map it with a program it says "button 4").
It even happens on the soft keys on the keyboard when i slide it out.
Also I used Start-sSPL to put the roms on. Is there a way I can get the OEM one back on or fix the button problem?
Any help will be appreciated.
I have a problem with my truesmart I have a keyboard that stays on permanently , I cannot get rid of it it comes up across the clock like it wantsme to type something in the box , I cannot get into anything else on the watch , I have tried taking the battery out but it still comes back it just wont go and I cant use the watch"
Pull the battery
Put battery in
Hold down both buttons (this gets you to recovery)
If you see no menu on the screen, hit the power button
In the menu use the back button to scroll down to factory reset
Hit the power button to select
You will loose what ever apps and data you put on the watch but this should fix it. If not your options are to either flash a ROM or send it back to Omate.
My son got the above mentioned for his Christmas and has only gone and put a pin on it to forget the pin and now we can't get into anything, any instruction welcome.
Hello what device is that your son forgotten the password??
Its for a Asus transformer pad tf103c
If you are unable to power off , try this process from point 2.
1. Unplug the power cord and shut the unit off .
2. Press and hold the VOL DOWN and then POWER button at the same time for at least 10- 12
seconds until after the start - up screen appears and is joined by some small print at the top of
the screen, then let them both go . If the TF booted the way it always does , you have not
accomplished the task , try again until you have seen 2 icons ( ICS), 4 icons ( JB ) in the screen.
3. After a few seconds you should see some icons in the middle of the screen - in ICS they are
called "Wipe Data" and " Android" . The right " Android" will have a green highlight fading in and
out. In JB there are four, the first of which is RCK .
4. Press the VOL DOWN button to select the " Wipe Data" icon then VOL UP to confirm it .
Thanks, these are the same instruction as Asus gave but when doing so the start up Asus screen shows then goes black and nothing when I let the buttons go and press only the power button it quickly goes white and switches off, any ideas?
Hello so may you show me pictures to see the problem with your tablet.

I just installed the Octane Fitness App, Smartlink. After running it for a few minutes, it locked up. Now when I press on the screen for anything, it doesn't work. Only the hard buttons work. I tried rebooting, but it reloads this buggy app and then the same problem happens over again. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to not load the app so I can uninstall it? Am I going to have to do a factory reset and if so, how do I do one on this tablet? I can't find info anywhere and Samsung support is utterly useless.
Thank you.
Factory reset:
Power Tablet Off
Press and hold: Home + Volume Up + Power until the recovery screen loads
Select Factory Reset and follow on-screen prompts
