Has anybody tried to disassemble a Legend yet? Are there any pictures of the insides below the top plastic cover on the backside?
There are some pictures at mforum.ru but there are not shots of the most interesting part - just the aluminum case before and after.

I guess you need to lift up both plastic covers to get to the screws.

can i confirm if the wifi antenna and the gps antenna are located on the top plastic (camera area) while the phone antenna is on the battery cover??
or are the wifi and gps antennas all the same, located on the battery cover??

The first time I took it apart I used what I had, I just had to grind the tip of the scalpel, and it worked. But now I have invested in a tool kit.

You have to push on the phones bag side to get the display forward and up, be careful not to bend the metal by the microphone in the top.
I really dont know how to get it out the right way..Piece of S***!!!!

I took a look into the dev device and wonder if it is possible to change the cheap device frame and replace it with a S3 original case.
But because I'm not very experienced in disassembling mobile phones I got no success.
I removed all screws inside the phone and tested a S3 original battery back. I would fit on the RD-PQs back. But I find no way to remove the "angular" black front from the screen. There a now screws which fix the screen to front.
So I want to start a discussion here. Maybe together we find a way to get a "real" looking S3.
Does someone has an idea how the screen is fixed to the front? Or does anyone already tried the same?
Someone found Pictures from inside RD-PQ?
I9300 is very easy to open... but I have nothing to compare...
No idea how RD-PQ looks near battery...

so i have 2 galaxy s3 i9300 both network unlocked one in red and one in white
the wife has dropped both, the red is put away for now, i managed to remove the lens from the white one, but wer the bang happend the volume up doesnt work and neither does the camera, i get sum exetion error, the chrome is rather tatty too, i puit a temp lens on for time being, and yep she dropped and broke that too,
I have a new lens here with the adhesive , the top and bottom kind, touch works fine
im trying to find a guide on how to swap the complete innards from the white housing to a new midframe if i buy one, but cant seem to find the actul working lcd removal, only the logic board and cameras
and the new lcd and screen complete are rather expensive at the moment my plan is this.
and i guess il need to order new camera.

is this atricky job, i was told removing the lens was, took me a hr but i did it with no damage,

Hi, few days i noticed pink area on my S3 screen. Two days later its getting bigger and darker. I googled the problem and found out that might be water damage ? Weird part is that the only time when the phone possibly might got some moisture is when i go to the gym and use my phone when my hands are sweaty to look rountine.
So, heres my questions.
Is it possible that little bit sweat coult result that ?

Yes. It is water damage and it has broke your LCD. The only solution is to replace the screen completely, which is significantly harder to do than to say it.
Bought a new S6 Edge plus 2 days im happy with the phone.
