Return to complete stock? - LG G Watch

I've been messing with this watch too much, flashing Gohma, etc, and I'd like to return to stock. Basically the equivalent of a totally clean wipe on a phone and flashing the newest factory image.
Gohma has a return to stock batch file but it doesn't seem to work well, as my watch is buggy now.
Is there a way to really return this thing to an actual completely wiped stock state?

Thank you! Why can't I find like a factory ROM build for this thing? I would think that would exist out here. Everything is a pre-rooted file from a user and not Google.

Just go to youtube and search for "Android/Pc: Unbrick LG G Watch" by M&M
The video are not English language but not difficult to follow and download link will be in his description.
After you done your watch will be on .....Build number LGW100AT..... but don't worry because after feel minute your watch will automatic update 2 times
then you will be on 5.0.2 firmware and....Build number LWX49K....
I just did mine yesterday.......

[Q] problems after ROM Revolution HD (Camera, Video & Tethering)

Hello all!
I just rooted my HTC Amaze 4G yesterday. I used "[ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 1.1.0" because I needed Arabic supported on my Android.
Anyways, now I have Arabic fully supported, which is great. the phone is fast, and it is now actually 4G instead of 3G, which is better i'm assuming.. (when I got the phone few days ago, it was showing me that it's running on 3g)
so all that is great, however, I have few problems that I can't pretend they don't exist!
-----------
first, the camera now isn't working probably, when you press the camera button, you see a scrambled picture, however when you take the photo, it looks normal... I'll upload the photo I took of it.
second, when I come to play a video, whether it's Youtube or any other vid, the picture is also scrambled and it's impossible to see.
third, the Tethering isn't working at all! it says "error" when I try to turn the feature on.
so far that's all the problems I discover since I installed the ROM. not sure if there is anymore!
I looked in the forums, and on google on how to fix them, but it doesn't seem that a lot of people having the same problems.
does anyone know how to fix these issues? and if they are not fixable, is there a way to uninstall the ROM but still keep the Arabic supported????
all I need is the Arabic to be supported, and of course no issues with the phone.

Make Sure you intall the ROM EXACTLY how it shows you, if you get errors, do it again
^^^^^ I would do that also. And if it doesn't work, download super wipe script (if you havent) and use it before flashing, I use it for all the roms I flash, even though its made for ARHD

I followed the thread word by word... I spent 7 hours yesterday rooting it!!!!!!
at first it didn't work, but I kept trying until everything went fine with no errors at all.
is there a way to get rid of it and just install another ROM? I also noticed that the phone now takes forever to boot up!!
Thanks for your reply BTW!

Yes, simply download another Rom and flash, most if not all roms here need a kernel to be flashed, if you want, pm me and ill help you further

Use superwipe and flash the ROM again. Install the Arabic patch. You should be fine.

I did download super wipe script and ran it before flashing. just as a thread said...
I wonder if running the super wipe now would get rid of the Rev HD and allow me to install Stock ROM?!

Well I wouldn't go back to stock there are a lot of other roms to try, at this moment, I would HIGHLY reccomend you use Energy Rom, great theme, very stable, and great batt life

I will try that, and what is I want to flash another ROM, do I need to get rid of the rev hd or I can just flash another one after using the superwipe? and will that cause the Arabic patch to stop working?
so if I want to have a stock ROM and Arabic Patch, would they work together?
sorry for being too naive lol

OK! that's cool with me... I can play around with the ROMs, you know removing one and adding another, as long as they work with the Arabic Patch
if i want to go ahead and use Energy Rom, all I need to do is do superwipe, and flash the Rom, am I right?
thanks again co

ok, so I tried this again. used super wipe, flashed the ROM and installed the arabic patch.... no errors.... and still same problems.
I'm in the process of trying Energy ROM! let's see!
I flashed Energy ROM.. still exact same problems
I basically did superwipe. then flash. then arabic patch...
the arabic is supported, but again no fix for the other 3 problems :'(
Does it happen AFTER you flash the patch or no?

well, it seems to be after the patch, that's why i'm not installing the patch right now. just the rom... i'll see if that was the problem in a bit
it just finished flashing... still same issues.
No patch, no arabic supportd, and still same issues.
no idea what am i doing wrong!!!
is there anyway to undo the ROM. so just basically go back to the original system without losing the "root" on my device... this is my second day trying to get the device to be usefull!... I was an "Apple" person, and things there are much easier,... i'm starting to hate android!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still don't get it, why doesn't google have Arabic supported on their devices... it's one of the most demanded feature that people ask for it in their phones!
Ah!!
Wallah ana ma b3rif lol. They should add it in.
You can install a prerooted ROM or go back to stock and install root.

Best Method to get 4.3 update

I have been seeing a lot of folks talking about just going back to complete stock to install the update.
Is that the best option? Are we able to root 4.3 yet?
Do you need to reset S-off on the phone or what? I have seen a few different things out there today talking about this. My phone downloaded the update and keeps asking me to install ever so often but of course won't as I don't have the stock recovery console.
All help and info is appreciated!
I'm using Avatar ROM and my phone isn't even prompting me with the update. I'm really happy with my phone now so I'll give it a few days and wait for feedback on it.

I have just been using stock rooted as I have needed to keep my wifi calling.
I am used to Samsung's and Moto's and this is my first HTC I have worked with so the process of doing everything is a bit different.
Is there a way I can just flash stock recovery back and then install the update and be good to go?

You can leave s-off but you need to go back to stock Rom and recovery to receive ota. I have a link posted a link in the ota is coming thread that will help you return to stock. If you updated firmware you just need to use a usb otg and a usb mouse cause touchscreen won't work

That is pretty much your only option now, unfortunately.

thanks .. do you think i can just use teenybin to gain unlock and recovery after stock bin then use the backup i made prior to the encryption?
I can't say, never had a reason to mess with Teenybin, and I did the Nexus 4 conversion at one point but have successfully gone back to pure stock and now I'm testing out KitKat as well. Just not willing to chance it since I have no need for Teenybin's features I suppose. Maybe someone else can chime in on that aspect.

omg... i did stock bin and phone is back at encryption unsuccessful screen .... am i done ?....
i hit reset phone button .... this time it worked ... phone back to 100 stock ... im sacred ****less now lol afraid to even touch it
It's somewhat difficult to truly brick most devices nowadays, takes some pretty serious pooching to make it completely useless.
just used teenybin to gain unlock and recovery, and then booted into recovery and restored my old backup  i think i will stay stock for a while after this haha
* Put your phone emergency mode
* download LGNPST with dll to your phone
* download tot file 4.1.2
* make a full recovery..

[Q] so, is there a way to flash from 532 to 290?

i'm on 532 (root and recovery) and have been for a while. i've looked at a few threads in dev forum and can't find if there's a way to just flash to a newer version or if i have to go the long way round?
or is it just a case of following:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612980
asking as after looking at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2569904
my eyes have gone funny
Yeah, just flash NUT's ROM
hmm, will give it a go this weekend then. cheers.
still waiting on 4G from Three and just realised i don't have an LTE option in mobile networks. think i might be on too old a version
Depends on what ftf you flashed to get 532. If it was [nut]'s one then I think it was based of my ftf so a non lte 6802. [Nut]'s rom is based of a 6833 ftf so will have lte
Sent from my Xperia Z Ultra using Tapatalk
ah, that would be it then. will try it asap. really need the added upload speed. upped 190GB so far this month and some people around here are reporting 10 fold increase in upload speed
well that went screwy. bootloop. flashed straight to 290 ftf which works and i have LTE but i can't root it. grr
trying to go to 532 again and start from scratch even if i have to use vroot.
Bootloop but everything works? Wut? Is it working or not? Can't you root? Is that the issue?
Sent from my C6806_GPe using Tapatalk
bootloop on flashing to 290 (NUTs guide) so went to 290 direct to recover but root didn't work.
now went back to 532 but that won't even pickup any cell connection at all.
i'm ready to throw this thing against the wall at the minute.
---------------------
binarys app didn't work for root so got it via vroot again. now to figure out how to get to a newer rom with room that can have working cell data
Ah, i get it.
my IMEI is blank now somehow. hmm
ok, flashed it back to 290, unlocked bootloader again, used the all in 1 tool and now that seems to have stuck.
have a 4g option, root and can download on 3g at the moment. if i can just restore my apps then the last 5 and a bit hours won't have been in vain
Wont have been in vain as you have learnt things...

Xperis's or Xperia S?
If the latter the find the right forum, if not read the stickies in the general section
i would give advice but mine would be more what not to do to not spend 6pm-1pm reflashing your phone cos you kept on doing stupid things
p.s cheers LM, blueether.
will reflash again tonight to try and sort out xposed. won't install for some reason but might be TB related.
either way, all else works so yay!

thank you but how did that work when i updated within the app to 2.4.1 and installed that with no joy? or was the one in your link a test version or something?

LM, if i might pick your brain once more.
since moving to 290 my battery life has been awful.
i used wakelock detector and in the last 4 hours sonyericsson.android.wakeup woke my phone 4877 times
i found this but one of the notes mentions screwing up the device by editing build prop.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2382680
i'm not averse to editing the prop (had to previously for lcd density) but is there a better way you're aware of to disable this?

DarkHorse Themed Maps on VS985

Well I just flashed the DarkHorse Maps 7.7.0..zip and seems to work pretty good as far as I can tell.
> If anyone intends to flash this be careful, you MUST make sure you get the right one, there are a few.
If you don't get the right one, it will say the app is not installed.
I have learned from past experience.
Here is a link to the post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41634338
Before flashing I recommend uninstalling Maps updates first.
I just flashed it via Flashify.
Wiped the cache and dalvik flash the zip and profit!!!

I would imagine it'll work on stock or a ROM. If you have TWRP installed then just nandroid your stock (which you should already do) then flash zip. Then if you want to sell you can just restore your stock.
