I have made a reset and put the phone to the box. After one week I take it and try to Power On. But the red light flashes. So i try to charge, but the same red light apear. Then, I replace new battery the phone powered on, but aftered pin code it freezes. So i shut it down, and the phone will not loads anymore. I put my old baterry and tryed to update software. On update the phone freezed, so I unplug cable and see that update is failed. Now eerytime when i trying to update or reipai ir loads until 90 percents and I get a message failed. Please check or replace the battery or contact sony support. Now when I try to Power On the Xperia x10 green light appear phone vibrate and I see only black screen. Any logo nothing. When replacing the battery the problem is the same green light vibrate and nothing. I think that it's the software fault. Could anybody can help me to solve this problem ?
Hello everyone. I have a problem and I need some of that friendly XDA assistance.
I have been using the AT&T LGOG for about a year now, and have it rooted, unlocked, and flashed CyanogenMod.
I left my phone to charge, plugged into the outlet. When I unplugged it, the screen failed to turn on, remaining black, but the soft keys lit up. I pressed the power button, but no response. Then the soft keys back light went out. The phone, I guess, just shut off. So, I tried turning it on. Instead of the usual Google bootloader logo, the screen remains black. I hold the power button, and nothing happens.
So I plugged it in, and tried turning it on again. The red notification light on the power button illuminates solidly for a couple seconds, then steadily flashes. I have encountered this before, so I know I have no battery and leave it to charge. After an overnight charge, however, I try turning it on again, but am greeted by the same red flashes.
I've tried charging it with different chargers, cables, plugging it into the computer, using different usb computer ports, all with no change in results. When plugged into my computer, it shows up as unknown device, but when i try turning it on, as the notification light flashes, it changes from unknown device to hid compliant device in device manager, but back to unknown device if i let go. I have tried putting it in download mode, but the screen does not show a trace of life. LGNPST fails to detect the device.
I have searched and found in other threads similar occurences. I suspect the battery is at fault here. But before I do a battery pull, I want to make sure I have tried everything else. I cannot RMA it as it is out of warranty, has a large crack on the back, and has a custom rom.
Assistance is requested and appreciated!

The problem is it had a kernel crash, what you need to do is get a torx screw driver, i recommend buying it at sears they have a small screw driver with changeable screws for like 3$ they come in different colors, open the phone & then you will see the battery they have some screws in it as well, screw them off & un-plug the battery gently as the cable is pretty fragile, then plug it right back in; the phone will turn on
hope it helps

same thing? then just do what i told on my early post & your phone will work.
i have this same problem also i unplug the battery and did all that it still wont turn on idk what to do??
Hi, I think i have a unique problem with my phone. I dropped my Sony xperia Z2 from knee height and now it will not turn on. The battery was on 70% when i dropped it.
If i try to boot it into recovery or download mode, it doesn't work either, it just doesn't power on.
Now the odd thing is, when i connect a charger to the phone, the notification light turns on and flashes a red color. The phone turns on very briefly displaying the Sony Xperia Logo before turning back off again and this happens repeatedly. This leads me to believe that the issue is to do with the software and not the hardware. If this is the case then i feel as though the problem can be fixed without having to open the phone.
Do you guys have any idea what the problem is? or what can be done/tried to fix it?
Just to add, i tried to push the red reset button down which is located next to the sim card holder. This achieved nothing.
Any Help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Hold the reset keys till it vibrates 3 times
Volume up + power
Or red key under the left flap
Once this is done try powering on your device and it fails to work then flash a FTF or try to
If this fails then you have done some damage to your device hardware and you need to contact a repair centre
Ok, so I recently tried to install CM on my Z2 Tablet.
When I tried to restart the device I get nothing but a flashing red light.
If I hold the power button down I sometimes get a short vibrate and if I hard reboot it it gives me 3 short buzzes as usual but still nothing.
If I leave the usb cable plugged in I get the connect/disconnect noise for a usb device which makes me think it's stuck on a boot loop but theres nothing on screen, it's just dead.
Screen is black and all I get when a usb is plugged in is the flashing red light and an occasional blue one if I mess with the buttons.
Tried using PC Companion to repair the device but it says the software isnt available for my device.
Tried flashing 2 separate FTF files and they both fail saying something about needing the correct fsc script to flash.
I've kind of given up hope but is there anything else I can try before I flog it for spares or repairs ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try opening the ports at the top and pushing on that red button/square for 30 seconds, the red light sounds like what mine does when the tablet runs out of battery, I fully charge it but it just vibrates and flashes red but wont come on
My dad's phone, don't ask why, had a strong contact with the flor, three times. After that, back cover was broken, LCD Plate and Side Key Flex Cable too. Screen is all and I think motherboard also. Battery is not damaged. I buy all broken parts , made phone but it doesn't work. If I can believe flashtool, phone can fastboot and flashmode. I can flash new ROM, Kernel, unlock bootloader but only when the battery is unplugged. I tried to charge battery about 24h but when i push power button, reaction is blink three times red LED. When charger is plugged in, I push vol+ and power , phone vibrates three times, the same reaction when I push this red button near sim slot, and when I unplugged battery on the screen appears image of battery with red bottom and lightning which dissapears after few sec. and again appears over and over again. Is any possibilities to fix this phone ? or better to buy phone with broken screen and use my? I try a lot of solution from google and nothing works.
