is there any way to know the year of the phone was built?
i'm wondering because i heard and read that new x10 models dont have the problem as old ones used to have with the issue of the phone restarting itself because of the memory issue after the 2.1 update. my phone had these issues and SE gave me a new phone about 2 weeks ago and I was looking all over the internet and on my phone and couldnt find a thing.
thanks in advance!
You can look under the battery. It will say something like 10W12.
First part is the year - 10 = 2010
Second part is the week number W12 = last week of march.

THIS POST SHOULD BE DELETED, ITS NOT IT THE RIGHT FORUM
Hi, I wonder whats normal battery usage (% per hour) to expect on the x10 mini pro? Battery is manufactured in 2010 week 37, but i just bought it from a webshop.
This is my girlfriends phone and she never remembers to charge it. Right now im on MiniCM73.0.4 naa13 kernel.
I use "My Battery Drain Analyzer" and during night/idle it uses 2,5%/h.
All data and synch is off, only phone radio is on.
BetterBatteryStats shows deep sleep all the way, Cant see anyting eating battery.
Can it be the baseband/radio?
Greatful for any advice to get out of charging-hell.
Hey Magnemann, i think that your question must be publish on Xperia x10 mini pro forum, maybe other users of that forum has the same problem with this device or the same doubt =)

As hardwork always pays off , Bought Xperia P online with the online money i have earned !!!
Damn new to this Mobile , ofc didnt even open the seal , I just wanna clarify somethings which i want to know from the great xperia p users
* For the first few days does the mobile needs to charge 5-6 hours a day or just 1-2 hours ?
* List of good apps useful for xperia p
* Known problems which arise after upgrading >? and how to rectify them ?
* Some cool games and wonderfull themes ?
* Last one but the main thing is , by mistakenly i ordered red xperia p , but i prefer black almost , Are there changeable panels available ?
And after knowing abt these things and getting grip on ma mobile , i will learn on how to root , install roms , kernels , etc !
And also mention * what to do and what not ! while using this mobile

And the problems that might arise are always a few bugs which are taken care of with new update.dont worry about that.also you can search for the problem here and ask for solution.congratulations for the new phone

Guys opened seal and does it already installed an screen protector ?
or should i buy a screen protector and install it ?
Many backgrounds applications are running hw to kill them ?
1st of all the bad things about the phone
if you can have patience to charge your device twice a day than XP is for you
i have this phone for about 20 days now and i,m quite disappointed with the battery life.
it really sucks and i,m mean really really sucks big time. 1350 mah only
i had an update couple a days ago i installed the update and stared facing bug like immense battery drain
camera problem in the dark.. and there,s no improvement in update as far i have observed
don,t bother to update
now the good things
i love the face that this device has awesome screen resolution
nice colours and viewing angles
screen clarity awesome
camera result awesome
performance awesome.
sound awesome
sound on earphones awesome
call quality no problem at all
surfing the web no problem
overall experience good.
yes u can install custom roms in it
after rooting and installing the clockwork recovery.. u might also have to unlock the bootloader,
see the relevant thread.
but i cant see files which i have tranferred through pc or bluetooth
almost wasted 2 hours for searching a file which i have copied from ma pc to phone but i cant find the location of the files which i have transferred to mobile from friend's bluetooth and my computer

It already has a screen protector...
You can kill them by pressing stop..and if u root,u can uninstall a lot of bloatware..
The battery is so lame and Sony's software support is even worse..

Oh ok, thanks a lot for the reply guys , i already updated to the ICS but not the latest one
it runs fine on my xperia p
Although it has a scratch resistant screen guard should i need to install an additional screen guard
Even the xperia P red colour is made up of aluminium right?

Hi !
Need some help and some guidance from the members regarding a serious issue with my Xperia Sola
The main issue with my Xperia Sola is that the screen freezes 2 or 3 times a day on various situations like when i am browsing on the internet or just browsing thru menus and or even when i write a text message. A random freeze i can call it! The screen freezes and looks like when you're watching a 3D movie without glasses. it's a bit..i don't know the exact term to decribe it but looks exactly like i said. So, after that it becomes unresponsive and the only thing i can do is to restart the phone using up volume button + start button at the same time! Then, it's coming back to life and...i am waiting for the next **bleep** freeze again!
The phone is upgraded to the latest version of android 4.0 with the Latest available software: 6.1.1.B.1.54. I allready performed an repair thru the pc companion on my pc and also tried SUS but the problem is still there.
I don't know wether is a hardware issue or a software issue!
Any ideeas?
Thank you!
I am sorry. I guess this thread should of been posted in the Q&A Help section! My apologies. I am new!
Men, the. 54 FW is sooooooo buggy! :-/

This is Sony issue. They made this phone so buggy in both hardware and software that they just abandoned it (and whole novathor line excluding xperia go) after 9 months after premiere. I've tried multiple ROM's and tweaks, and still Sola is the worst android device I've ever used. Best thing you can do is just buy a phone which is not manufactured by Sony. Sorr dude.
Hi, My rooted i1900p on CM10.2 has just died completely. I can't put it in recovery or download or anything.
What are the chances Orange will fix it? I'm assuming it's a hardware issue, the phone is only 9 months old but was running fine. I can't see a way of unrooting now
You should be fine, but there are never guarantees. Most people in this situation have gotten warranty fixes, a few haven't. You don't have any choice but to roll the dice & play dumb.
Hi, thanks for that - I called them and they said they will replace the handset, as long as I have bought a new battery and tried that first.
I will happily do this, but does anyone know where I can buy a replacement battery for the i9100p with the NFC chip? I can't find one anywhere! :good:
Little e big B.
Just say you have changed the battery..

Amazingly orange have just couriered me a battery, arrived 10 minutes ago!
Unfortunately it didn't work so hopefully they will replace the handset.
I did try little e big B but there are no NFC batteries on there!
