Hi everybody,
my S3 has restarted by itself three times and then showed me the message "memory device damaged"
I was allowed restoring factory data, warning me that all data would be erased.
I tried several times to restart it without success, you could not see even from the PC
I restored and it works but I want to recover lost photos ...
I tried with DrPhoneForAndroid but did not find anything useful.
Can anyone help me?

As you said when you did a factory reset all data partition was wiped.
Next time make a Nandroid backup before factory resetting.

after i upgraded to nordic 2.1 and flashed,i restored all my contacts from sd card and i saw them (it was before i istalled hebrew (Via IsraelPack) fonts so i saw them in gebrish [][])
then i restored via titanium backup "restore all apps with data".
after that i rebooted my phone to see hebrew but when it terned on, i could no longer see my contacts.
i tried to import them again from sd /memory card but failed (it shows that its loading but its just stucked)
although when i try to enter to sms, i cant see anything (the it says that its not responding -wait/force close)
i hope that i will have no further problems thats all i saw from now
please help me guys im stuck!
(my guess is that its because of the titanium or something but idk..)
Did you restore system apps/settings from 1.6?
This could cause some problems.
i think it did it because i did full aplications and data restore, so i guess..
any solution?

Hi all !
I need your help because I'm really desperate.
My phone was working fine but I had some error with Handcent application.
I decided to restore a previous nandroid backup (that I had previously successfully restored) but now I've got an "error while restoring data" after a long time working.
Tried to do 3 wipes (data factory, cache, Dalivk), but same issue.
Tried with some other backups, same issue.
I'm really lost....
Is there any way to get me out of this ? :crying:
My phone is now unusable.
When I run the phone after restoring faultly, it asked me my google account, as if it was the first time I was running the phone, and not all applications are installed.
When I try to install missing applications with Google Play, I've got an error, and no way to restore from Titanium Backup, no error but freezes.
Please HELP !
Flash your firmware using Odin or recovery, if the backup is corrupt then it can't be fixed.
Thanks, but this backup was OK last time I've restored it, and I had the same issue with some other recent backups.
It appears that the size was too big, over 2,5GB.
I've restored from a 2,41GB backup and it has worked.
The mistery is why I was able to restore from this backup one time, and now does not work anymore...

I rooted my device[Xolo Q800] a month ago using framroot, TWRP to be able to run XPrivacy app[has become my favourite].
Yesterday I came across a webpage reading I could change my gmail account without restoring it if I have my phone rooted.
So I opened the file located at data/system/users/0/accounts.db with Database editor app in my phone and changed my gmail ID to another and saved it.
Then restarted the device to put into effect.
Since then my phone had freezed at XOLO logo.
Luckily I had TWRP installed in my phone so I booted into recovery mode and found there many option but i launched file manager but could never get into data folder even though my phone was rooted.
So I made a so called Nand Backup of data, system, boot.
After backing up successfully I went to Wipe and tapped on factory reset.
Now my device is up and running but how do I restore my backup without getting stuck in that ugly loopback problem?
Plz help me I have my contacts, messages and many useful apps, notes in that backup.
This is my first post. Any help would be appreciated handsomely.

i need help i accidentally cleared cache & data on viber now i have lost all my messages & i can't get them to come back. I read few threads & tried several methods but none worked.
Please guys is there any way to restore my messages?? they are so important to me i can't lose them right now HELP.

What data are you talking about? The one present on the device, or the one synced online? You can sync and restore any data you saved online, but for the data present on local device, i think you won't be able to recover that, since you deleted them, unless you made a backup.

You can't recover the deleted data because you have reseted your device if you had not reseted your device then there might be chances that you can recover the data but you can give a try to different data recovery softwares like recuva, easeus data recovery etc.

You can't recover it as you did factory reset, all the prints are gone so better to forget. Well I know that feel broh !
