WHO
Originally developed by @Cpasjuste in original thread HERE
@[NUT]'s latest package can be found HERE
@zxz0O0's SELinux hack HERE
WHY
Main reason is because OTA package wont be verified if custom recovery is installed. With this app, we can easily uninstall custom recovery then reinstall them after applying OTA updates without need to connect to PC.
It can be used as normal installer not related to OTA anyway.
HOW
1- Rooted.
2- SuperSU PRO for OTA root survival.
3- This app.

Either way reinstall the recovery with the installer. Just don't install a third party busybox

I think the kernel has an old version of superuser so to get latest version you have to flash it separately.

You're welcome Rajeev;
I says before this method tested by me on c5303 and .245 Firmware and I recomended to flash supersuer.zip separately.
but this kernel does not automatically install supersuer app? Are you sure?
I've tested many ways and all of the root method and "supersu" to make the program very slow and very weak.
I tell you this because I tested it with superuser root, really better and much faster at startup supersu works.

Yes it does
Edit: I can't update SU binary with Supersu. :/
It not works with the 2.254 firmware and it gives you phone restarts when try to do any root thing for example delete a system file.
SuperSu does not work either. I can update the binary but gives you unlimited phone restarts right after boot. So bootloop.
I deleted it in safe mode.
Waiting for the new version. :\
I have now installed supersu and updated binairy.
also i have tried superuser from chainsdd ant had no bootloop anymore but lost root when removing the chinese version.
how do i delete the chinese superuser app without losing root?
EDIT:
Somehow i managed to root my phone while the chinese superuser was removed and it didn't come back after root using Vroot
so now i am using supersu and it's working perfect.
EDIT:
Phone force reboot when removing system app or changing /system to r/w.

So i want to make my own rooted firmware .540 5.1.1 for my d6503
My phone is from middle East so an planning to use the original build
So it's mena Arabic
I did found a way to install it using flashtool but nothing about root
My phone is now rooted with locked bootlloader
If I flash using flashtool, can I root directly from 5.1.1 ?
If you search you would find that you can create a rooted 5.1.1 zip that you flash in recovery. Give that search button a shot.

Recovery should be: Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.flashable (Donwload from NUT's site: http://nut.xperia-files.com/ )
SuperSU should be: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46 ( http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu )
And your personal .ftf
I suggest to create your pre-rooted package with PRF Creator v0.9. v1.0 can only be flashed via TWRP only. If you use v1.0 select Legacy Mode and use TWRP ONLY when installing. Select all options (See picture of v0.9) If you don't have Java installed the PRF Creator can't sign the .zip (I don't think so, everybody has Java!)

How to install:
1. You must have root on your device.
2. You must have bootloader unlocked on your device.
3. If you already have any recovery - download attached archive and flash it via your current recovery.
If you still haven't any recovery - download attached archive, unpack it and flash recovery.img through Rashr

How to root?
I would like to install Cyanogenmod in my LG Mini D620, but I am missing how to do the first step: rooting. I tried various ways including LG One Click Root and towelroot. But nothing worked.
I can connect with abd, but reboot recovery brings a "recovery mode" where nothing is possible, literally the android robot on the back picture appears and nothing else.
How I am supposed to root the LG Mini D620?
I'm about to root and unlock bootloader to try flashing any (custom) rom I can find for the d625, any chance this recovery will work?
If not, can anyone please point me to the right direction. No need of holding hands, just a url and I'll find my way.
edit: It's my youngest brother phone, he's starting to get into custom roms, kernels, etc. Yet, he's 11 and I don't have much spare time to help him if the phone goes brick (and I don't wanna leave him without his phone for days til I have the time, so i figured it's better to ask beforehand)

Another minor thing is that earlier when entering recovery mode a purple light used to blink, now its missing.

Weird. Try using flash tool to fastboot the image if the flashable zip doesn't work for you.
Updated from TWRP, backup/restore works, no problems so far apart from it needs more than a minute till TWRP GUI appears after boot. Thanks for update.
Do you use the stock kernel? I installed the recovery built by oshmoun in the omnirom thread. It uses the aosp kernel. It starts faster, has a better sdcard naming and can flash oem images. Maybe you could try this kernel.
I use stock kernel (Pexorom 4.5) so this may be the reason for the delay.
I mean the kernel used with the recovery, not the rom kernel.

This is what i did. Download img, place file on phone. Download twrp app, pick choose a file, browse to recovery.img, flash. Power off, boot to recovery = win.
Reboot to system, retry installing new update = great success.

Same result, whether fastboot or flashtool, display is dead.
Certainly missed ODM LOIRE v12, v11 is installed.
Not really sure is the latest bootloader.
Does restoring a backup change the bootloader as well?
Edit: Solved: the answer is 'yes'.
3.2.1 does not work @7.1.2 restore because of outdated bootloader.

What I do not understand, maybe bootloader or encryption, but why is 3.2.1 not backwards compatible on Suzu?
Is Omni 7.1.2 kernel (more I have not tried) or not current boot loader the reason?
