Professional Look Cases - Corporate look (Suit) - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Hello all,
I am a corporate professional. I wear full suit to work every day.
I am asking members to contribute suggestions for cases, that are specifically well suited to the corporate professional look.
Goal: Something that looks very professional, elegant and sophisticated.
E.g: Something that would look good for a doctor, lawer, business person, ceo etc.
I haven't posted it in the 'What case is everyone using' thread, as I am targeting a very specific segment of the case market.
My genuine thanks to any that choose to contribute,
Special thank to kms108 who got me thinking about asking this question.
Capt M.

I personally really like the classy looks of these two, particularly the first one:
Case Mate Slim Folio Case (This one is really classy and combines very well with a suit.)

Those are definately smart and elegant.
I've also been looking at the fineday aluminium bumper and leather back case (gold bumper and brown leather back).
Many have said that in general, aliminium bumpers affect signal, gps, blutooth or wifi.
kms108 has assured me that it hasent been a problem so far.
Open to any and all input from members of the XDA community,
Interested in seeing as many as possible!
My thanks to any that choose to contribute, keep th he suggestions coming,

If you don't mind spending the money, these MOTIMO cases are absolutely stunning. I purchased one and have been using it for about a year now and it'll held up in terms of color, feel, stitching, etc. Very high quality leather and it's hand made to order. Here is the link. You can customize the case to your liking before placing the order.

Those cases certainly look very sophisticated.
Which clasp did you go for?
Did you go for a strap too?
They certainly look the part for a professional.
Clearly i'm not the only one who is thinking along these lines.
Appreciate you pointing these out. They really 'look the part'.
Open to as many suggestions and opinions as possible. Has anyone come across any others that fit the bill too?
key words: sophisticated, elegant, professional looking
Capt M

These are the cases, that started this whole thread (post any questions / comments here on this thread, as there are many more suggestions forthcoming):
Classy and elegant
All the cases mentioned in this thread so far fit the descriptions, but surely some of you have some suggestions!
We're looking for cases that impress in a professional environment,

Those also look rather classy.
Can we some pics of your phone in this case biggerbigboy?
Would be great if you could have a cd or dvd in pic, so we can gauge sizes.

I'll make some when I'm at home later that day.

Thats one elegant looking case.
Whats living with it been like (Is it as slippery as some say?).
The only thing that is making me a little hesistant is how it might deal with drops.
Appreciate the uploads biggerbigboy,
I think its good to get an idea of any case's pros and cons, from someone whose lived with it for quite a long time!
CM

My case is a little slippery I used the sview cover before that have more grip.
It's not too fat with that metal it looks beautiful and feels very high quality in the hand.
I think it should deal good with drops.

the cases are really nice. but beware about possible signal loss (network and gps).

I don't have WiFi problems. Only the mobile network falls sometimes 1 bar. But not anywhere. I testet it. So between 0 and 1 bar. But only on mobile data.

PLEASE POST IN THIS FACEBOOK THREAD - Marware CEO Hybrid case

I got my parents this case for their iPad and it's by far the best quality folio type case I've seen -much better than the Moko, Verteks, Poetic, Blurex, etc. It has a very classy carbon fiber look and a cool hand strap as shown in the video. It also feels a little slimmer than the Poetic case I have for the Prime.

Let's keep posting in this Facebook thread. If there's a big enough response, they've said they would make one for the Prime.

Carbon Fiber, Black, Brown, Red and Pink
I prefer the carbon fiber look but it's nice to have a variety.

I suggested on Facebook they start making one and Marware replied its in the works. Keep posting there though because the more demand they get the faster it will happen. I'm currently using the Blurex slim case. Its exactly like the CEO Hybrid minus the hand strap which I miss for book reading.

The forum admin (MikeChannon) was cool enough to move this to the general forum where I thought it might get a little more exposure. Hopefully the moderators will let it stay for awhile and Marware gets enough requests to develop a case for the Prime.

Btw, I have the Poetic case which is exactly like the Blurex one and the Marware case is of far better quality than either. It feels slimmer and it's got a cool carbon fiber look which looks really classy - not to mention the hand strap like you said. And they haven't committed to making one yet but they stated in that Facebook thread that if they get enough of a response, they'll make one for the Prime.

I would probably buy one it looks really nice. I like how on the ipad it has the sleep awake function. I just bought this case though cause I loved the pink plaid and if you spent 20 bucks or more you got a free stylus so I am getting a hot pink stylus to match but it has the hand strap on the back and there is a black one. Just in case someone needs something to hold them over till marware one comes out which I hope they do make one I like it alot. Does the Prime have the auto sleep function?

I like the Caseen but I prefer folio cases with the clips because they don't cover the bezel.
This case would be a great accessory for my prime!
I "liked" the thread on F.B. hopefully that counts for them as a "please make this case"
I want a case for my prime, but it has to have room for the dock as well. =/
I had already written to them on FB I forgot LOL! But I wrote again saying purple would be nice to match my tablet. LOL! Someone actually told me what the bezel was and I don't really know still. But I read it protects your tablet more being covered. Is it the black around the screen? I still would like to try one of these too if it did the awake/sleep function. Does are tablet have that option?

Professional style case?

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a case that will look professional in the office I work at. I seem to find a variety of cases with part of what I'm looking for but nothing worth the whole package.
Keys:
* No plastics, crazy designs, neon colors.
* Space for business cards and a stylus sleeve
* Dock attachment a plus, as I do is the keyboard dock.
* Other storage areas and utility parts a plus.
Thanks in advance!

Acase
Acase makes really nice leather (I think) cases that look professional while providing a kick-stand and protection from drop damage. They're about $20 on Amazon. Works great on my Asus TF101, but they have a similar one for the TF300T.
Check out our DESIGNO PERFECTO, and DESIGNO Series for the TF300T here: http://www.caseen.com/Transformer-Pad-300-TF300-TF300T-TF300LT_c_39.html
Well reviewed case, and the hottest thing out on the market currently by us =).

I purchased the case in the link above but in the brown leather. It'll be here around the 2nd week of Jan. According to the specs and reviews it is real leather and very well made.
A few have given bad reviews but its a very low percentage. It'll be interesting to see how it is. I'll be sure to write a review on it.
I know several people who have bought the Poetic brand and they all are very happy with the product and price.

Everything I have ordered has been first class and very good value for the money.
While there get this stylus. http://www.caseen.com/VIBE-Stylus_c_32.html
I recommend iGadgitz cases. They are a fair price and has all the necessary cut outs and provisions for the tablet and dock. The link I provide here is a pink version, I can't seem to find a standard black case, unless you don't mind the pink

One of the main reasons I went for this over the Poetic cases was for the multiple ridges on the back for different heights positions when the tablet stands (less of an issue if you plan on having it docked). When docking the keyboard, you have to make sure the cover to hold in the tablet is pushed right in where the velcro is, so that it can be docked smoothly. Then there are straps to keep the dock secure.
The advantage of the Caseen case seems to be that it'll be less hassle to dock and undock the keyboard. No straps to contend with and probably easier to connect. If you switch between the two a lot then that case seems more appealing.
I thought I'd keep disconnecting and reconnecting the dock, but it's actually been more convenient for me to keep it on and have this hybrid feel. I like jumping between touch screen actions, using the well thought out hot key buttons on the dock and typing when web browsing.
I've lived with the Caseen case for about a week now and can vouch for its quality, style, and usefulness. It absolutely is easier to dock and undock (I find myself doing it fairly often, actually). It's very well made and feels like very high quality (as opposed to some Poetic cases I've had).
Gripes -
It would be nice to have some small straps to hook onto the dock. It's sometimes hard to open the clamshell with the case on.
There's not really a very convenient way to keep the case open when using it with just the tablet. Using the strap ends up covering some of the screen real estate.
I ordered mine from Amazon and so wasn't able to get a stylus with it! :crying:
Overall, I'm super pleased, and will be using this case for quite some time.
OK, I just received my Poetic case today and it's nice. It is real leather and all of the ports are open unlike a few of the reviews said. Everything lines up correctly PLUS the case comes with a 3 year warranty! You can't beat it for $19.95.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZE26CO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
I wanted to add are that the case is lightly padded and has a good feel to it. Also, several of the reviews I read stated that the overall feel was heavy. For those of you that have the dock already, you know that the combined weight of both is not that light. The case probably weights around a pound if that.
Here are a few shots of it.

Leather flip case

Has anyone found one of these for the dna? Something like this for the dna would be awesome...

I'd suggest searching for J Butterfly cases, since the DNA specifically doesn't have that much stuff out for it. A search on rakuten for "htc j butterfly case" brings up two that are a bit expensive (about $45 base) but stylish.
Hope that helps!
To bring this old topic back up. I have found a leather flip case for the DNA. Nillkin makes it. They come in 3 different colors: black, red, and gray.
Enjoy!

Its a decently nice case for the price. Fits very well. Not slopply put together. It looks like it would be sued but doesn't have the same feel. I say its well worth the $15. I do wish they would make nicer more expensive cases but its not an iPhone so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Observations thus far from owner
I just got the grey one in the mail yesterday and truly, I'm rather undwhelmed. Here are some observations from the past 12+ hours.
1. Case does NOT feel like leather at all as posted previously. Kinda cheap honestly.
2. The cover does not secure itself at all. It kinda just flaps in the wind and slides all over the place. The cover itself seems to be a bit big for the phone itself. Holding the cover tightly to the phone screen leaves 1/8 inch or so hanging off the side. If I set the phone down with the screen up and nothing on top of it, the cover just flaps open. This could be potentially be self-adjusting with use and having the case "break-in" but I have seen other flip covers that did not require this break-in period.
3. The case makes the buttons (power, volume +/-) more difficult to press. The case has proper cut-outs but the cut-outs could have been a bit larger to allow for easier access to the buttons. I really have to get my fingertip into the cut-out to operate the buttons.
I understand that the overall cost of the case was pretty low and people will state that "you get what you pay for" but I had previously purchased the Nillikin slim case in brown and I think I will be going back to that one. The slim case was a measly 8 bucks or so and doesn't have the flip cover, but the overall construction, feel and function of that one seems far superior.
/end $0.02
How about some pictures?
everybody should Email Poetic and beg for a slim line leather flip case.

First impressions
It looks like carbon fiber and you do feel a slight texture.
It goes on easily with plenty of flexibility to line up with every cutout on the phone.
It can be reapplied in case of misalignment
It can be gently stretched to form a perfect fit around all four sides while still lining up with the cutouts
The sides surprised me by being slightly harder to line up than the front and back.
I may have gotten lucky with the front and back but they lined up perfectly on the very first try.
I did not follow any instructions
I did not remove my matte plastic screen protector
I did not remove the cutouts for the back or menu buttons
My dual layer case even fits if I ever need a little more protection.
Cutouts all line up perfectly for me.
Capacitive Buttons respond just fine while being covered completely
Makes the phone feel less slippery in my hands
Colors in my opinion work very well together.
Feels like it will stay in place unless I really choose to move it.
So far after just 24 hours I'm definitely impressed with the quality in materials the fit and the feel of this product. It was much easier to install than I had anticipated. It looks and feels much nicer than I ever imagined.
Thanks to Weston and Slickwraps.com my phone is now better protected, less slippery, and looks very unique

One month later the slickwraps black carbon fiber skin looks and feels like new still.

Man that's awesome.
That Sedio case is pretty good, its VERY protective yet much smaller than Otterbox and etc etc.
In fact, Otterbox is a pretty crappy case from my experience.
I like that case also has a sturdy kickstand, something I look for in all cases for phones that are 5+ inches.
Just wondering, do you like using the phone with the case more often than just the skin?
I was contemplating on using a skin + kickstand4u. And maybe a thin, plastic bumper too (you know for "just enough" protection, as slim as possible, and kickstand).
Have you had any experience with this?
How often do you use / want to use a kickstand?
Cheers
Kangal
I use the case 99.9% of the time. I rarely use the phone without a case it's just too slippery and too unprotected for my taste. Kickstand use is rare for me but it's nice that it's got one.

Wow, thanks for the update.
I changed my mind. I was going to do the same thing.... but have a (stick-on) kickstand on the back.
The stick-on isn't secured too well to the phone, and the extra layer of slickwrap on top would've sufficed.
...
But the problem is that it kinda gets slippery like you said.
And the 3M wrap doesn't absorb shocks, so a drop of the phone can cause (nicks) damages.
I've got a Matte-textured Black case that adds heaps of protection, and has a useful kickstand as well.
It does add girth, which is unwelcomed.... but its a worthwhile trade off.
Though it feels a little oversized for even me.
I think my minimum phone size is 5.2 inches, and maximum is 5.7 inches.
And ofcourse shaved bezels.
Optimum for me would be about 5.3 inches, with bezels like LG G3 or even less.

Pros: It feels amazing in the hand. I have had many so-called genuine leather cases for my Phones over the years, including the BookBook by twelve south which was my all time favorite. I would have ordered another from them except they only make cases for iphone . Boy am I glad they weren't.
It allowed me to find this phenomenal case which is superior to the BookBook in every way. This one is softer and more supple. It feels more like an artist sketchbook, the leather is that nice.
It does NOT have the unfortunate potential of the spine turning white with wear that the BookBook has. (The spine is all natural leather)
It has quality stitching and the interior hard rubber case that cradles the my galaxy S8 is a perfect blend of protection and flexibility.
The credit card slots are generous in size. It is not difficult to put in or remove the cards like on other cases. I currently have 3 cards in it and it closes okay.
Props up-
It is also a stand so I can watch movies on my phone , . It is already broken in- the leather is nice and soft- so it works perfectly.
Calling and use: The leather folds over nice and flat.

Just got my black one to match my black S8+! I haven't had a real leather case on any of my phones yet, but I was excited to give this one a try. Can't find a better price for an actual leather case.
Oh man, I just wrote a review on this one. I LOVE THIS CASE SO FAR.

This looks like an awesome deal. I had a similar pleather case for my S4, and having the card slot is useful for me. Glad to have found this!

Sorry to disappoint -- I actually went with the Spigen Neo Hybrid due to the slimmer fit and price. I couldn't justify this case, especially since I was a bit anxious about the lack of a magnetic snap to close the case.

Spigen does make great products.
This maybe good practical case, but IMO this is one ugly case. I would never consider this for my S8.
