HTC Hero ROM... Where can I find it?

Hello!
New HTC Hero owner here...
Like everyone else, I've read the reports and seen the video of the HTC Hero device that had been updated with the new ROM.
Any ideas if it's available anywhere? If so, where's the best place to download it?
If not... when these ROMs/updates do become available, are they posted directly on HTC's website?
Thanks!
please search ( or just look) before you ask
also please post in the correct threads
htc have said september.....fingers crossed.

New Q&A section: Threads moved

Today (Aug. 8th) a new Sub-Forum was added for the Droid Eris, as a result I moved many threads, if you find yours is missing from its spot look there first before PM'ing me.
Thanks,
Captainkrtek
As long as I am moderator here (might not be long). I'll be moving threads with the [Q] tag to Q&A where they belong...

[Q] Could the htc sense 2.2 be ported over?

does someone have the code for the evo can it be ported over?
I believe the only chance is when the Legend or Wildfire comes out with 2.2 since the hardware is very similar.
Best bet is a Legend port when it comes (if it comes, apparently it's been discontinued on Bell in Canada?), since it has similar hardware and isn't an HDPI device like the Evo 4G or other 840*480 Sense phones.
Also, doesnt the [Q] tag indicate to you that you should post this in... questions and answers? We do have a dedicated subforum for that...

The legend would be easier. The WildFire has a smaller res screen, so porting it over would be a nightmare, as you'd have to redo all of the graphics to fit the Hero.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong !

The problem with posting stuff in other forums is that you never get a very good response there. Many people, especially devs and others with the technical knowledge to answer this question, would not hang out in the other forums. The dev forum is the only place where this question will get the attention it deserves.
This kinda proves that the forums here need a bit of a reorganizing.
Perhaps one subforum for actually posting ROMs themselves, and another for everything else. Splitting it into five subforums per device is pointless and just means that threads in the less busy forums never get noticed.
That question is too frequent...try to use the search tool before posting..
Moved to Q&A as not development.

HTC One X+ Development Sticky Roll-Up Thread *** Check this thread BEFORE posting ***

Please Note:Besides the currently sticked threads there will be absolutely no permanent stickies created in the HTC One X+ Development forum.
There will be a temp sticky that will get replaced on the next request, the previous sticky will go into the Roll-UP ThreadThis thread will list and link to all threads worthy of being "stickied".
Please leave your suggestions for new threads [with the thread link please] to be added to this list below and a moderator will attend to this as and when necessary.
* One X+ Development List | Roms, Kernels, and More.
* [30.11.2012] Jelly Bean firmware collection for different Carriers ID (CID)
* Current Roms AT&T and International
Have a nice stay!
HTC International Moderator Team
Hello all,
As you can see we did some maintenance in this forum.
Rearranged Sticked Threads.
Our goal is to eventually do this with all HTC International Forums Upcoming for sure and when enough spare time older devices.
The reason behind it is to get some consistency across our sections.
Makes it easier for ppl to find Real Important Device Essential Stuff
And of course all other sticky worthy threads.
The Setup will be like this.
1 Moderator announcements/rules.
2 Core device essentials sticky with RUUs, Recoveries, Radios, Firmware etc.
3 Sticky Roll-Up thread
4 One Temp sticky if sticky worthy, on the next sticky worthy request the old sticked goes into Roll-Up
5 Spare Sticky for whatever important thing pops up (bricks / other device damaging serious warnings)
The 4th sticky is there so everybody can gets his/hers fair change to get some stuff in the spotlights.
The procedure is merely there to avoid questions like "His got sticked, why mine is not?"
But we as Moderator team do think there should be a limit of 4/5 Sticky Threads to keep it clean and organized etc.
Of course this is somewhat a trial and we are willing to finetune it based on members input.
But so far i think its a good attempt to get HTC International Forums Organized and hopefully it reduces the unnecessary questions

General sticky... theyre all here now!

To many sticky threads are crowding this section. Now every past sticky can be found here.
