This is just a question is anyone has successfully got xposed working on the stock 23b using the Jasmine TWRP install.
I have debloated and then when flashing the alpha 2 zip package and rebooting I get a constant FC of the Smart Circle app. Just wondering if anyone else is expierencing same issue, other issues, or is working installing other methods. I did set SELINUX to "permissive" as it was "enforced" my first go but no luck.
Wondering what anyone else results may be.
It's a known issue with Xposed on any G3 with stock LG Lollipop. You have to freeze the LG Smart Cover and Weather Platform with Titanium Backup, then they won't FC. Easiest to freeze them before flashing Xposed, but through stubbornness on my part, I was able to do it through all the FCs.

I personally use circle case and was wondering if there is any workaround to get Smart cover working, at least to where phone screen turns off when I put the cover on.

Not that I'm aware of besides not using Xposed until/if it's fixed for this. There's a third party app I'm using to control mobile data via a one-click notification toggle which is broken once I install Xposed, too - although I have to verify that it wasn't one of the two Xposed modules I was using, or one of their options that did the breaking, but Xposed for Lollipop has a long way to go for full stability.
I chose for now to just not use Xposed - I had already weaned myself off it since November, once I was led to believe that Lollipop compatibility might take quite a lot of work.

Shout to Rovo89 for the Xposed Framework, and the various people who inspired this.
Sensor Disabler (previously known as Disable Proximity) is an Xposed application that allows you to disable or modify most of the sensors on your device, including the proximity sensor. It supports Tasker for changing the sensor status (via In-App Purchase), a blacklist/whitelist for choosing how certain apps will respond to Sensor Disabler, and a reliable and efficient way of modifying and disabling sensors without causing unnecessary slowdown on the device.
I can't offer support for phones that I don't own, but if your phone runs a close to AOSP ROM (for instance Nexus devices) or a CM-based/Lineage ROM (which I can easily see the sources for), this should work. If you're having issues, try to gather the logs from the Xposed app that relate directly to this app and post them here as well as your issue. I recommend reading over the logs yourself to see if the issue might be with your Xposed installation and not the app itself.

Thanks. Possibly, using the Hardware Disabler app on the Play Store. I've never gotten that to work for me, though.
There might also be a way to truly truly disable it using Xposed, but I'd need to delve extremely deep into the Android sources. I'll look more into it, but definitely no promises.
Could you make an app that has an interface and that can disable touch?
Basically when I put YouTube on my device and give it to my daughter to watch her cartoons she presses the screen and videos go back and forth and even exit, I've tried searching everywhere for a touch disable option, there's 2 apps on the play store but don't work, are very old and outdated...
If anybody knows where I can find one please let me know....

To get OT for a minute, while this might be possible, there are some inherent difficulties associated with this. You should look into an app like Live Lock: YouTube & Kids Lock for Android. Best of luck!

Hmm. I'll have to wait until I get get the 4.4.4 source straight. Expect an update in a day or so for that.
EDIT: So I've gotten the 4.4.4 source, and I can't see why it wouldn't work. Did you reboot after installing?

Instead of disabling the sensor, you could try recalibrating, as described in this post. it worked for my Sprint GN2.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2569141
Since the N4 suffers an annoying bug which causes a crackling noise to the headset signal whenever the proyimity sensor is active, I'd like to request an option to disable the sensor only when headset is plugged.
It would be even better if you would consider to integrate your app with Tasker so we could disable the sensor on different contexts too.

I actually have been wanting to try out Tasker support, so I'll look into that. I think I can push an update that'll disable during headphone disconnected only in the next few days, then I'll work on Tasker support.
Thanks for responding so quickly and for considering my suggestions.
Working on HTC Sensation XE running Vipers ROM 5.1.2 (Android 4.1.2)
Thank you very much!!! :good: I finally solved a problem due to the proximity sensor (probably broken) whose wakelock plagued my battery after a call or automatic brightness; thank you!
Noob question: can RILJ wakelock also be related to the proximity sensor?

To be honest, I don't know. I've never come across the RILJ wakelock issue (literally had to Google it to figure out what you meant) but it could be a possibility?
Although, according to this article here, it has something to do with accessing your location.
My two cents is, go ahead and give my app a try and if it works, great! But I don't know anything about the RILJ wakelock issue to provide any concrete data on whether this will fix it or not. Doesn't hurt to try!

I'm not sure myself why that fc pops up for some and not others but I think there is an Xposed module just for getting rid of that particular fc. Probably worth a try

Yup, same here. It didn't start immediately post-root. I've tried completely defrosting all apps in TiBu (I've not deleted anything) hoping one of 'em was the culprit, but no change. Freezing Google Play Services eliminates the error at boot, but also causes issues with Hangouts, among other apps.
EDIT: After a number of minutes after rebooting, the message does go away on its own. Perhaps a issue with some app loading sequencing?
I used some sort of Xposed mod in regards to this Gapps Crash so far so good I've rebooted a bunch and it hasn't come up. Odd thing is the mod said it was for a display at 240 DPI. Not sure what the G3s is but yea lol..

Yeah, saw that module, but it noted it was for the Note 2 running, as you mentioned, at 240 dpi so didn't install it.
Definitely install it still. It took away the Gapps Crash at boot for me ?

Wow nice find!
so yea lollipop is here, but due to some circumstances rootcloak is no more not even usable via cydia, so has anyone found a stand alone app like rootcloak? as the bright house tv app is now rendered useless. ;P
I would also love to know when a solution comes along. I love Lollipop but I was using Rootcloak to be able to use MAAs360 on KK, so no work email right now.
I need root due to being on the N5 that unfortunately needs root to mod the sound system to be usable in situation...because I guess Google was unwilling to address a very widely know issue with their flagship phone. Ugh!
i have tried several root hiders and tried through supersu to hide root all with no luck i have a few apps that i wish i could use that root makes it impossible use them (all the sky apps and lloyds banking app to name a couple) i would love it if somebody could help out with this matter

Yea root clock plus runs only on cydia
Man, I know how you feel. I have a game that could only be blocked with Cydia Substrate and RootCloak Plus... but I'm not sure Cydia will ever be updated for ART/Lollipop. So... we may be screwed for a very long time.
Your right he has long left development when most used x posed. And with Google's new security it will be almost impossible to hide root.
Any news on this? I m still stuck on KK, Root Cloak doesn't work properly on Android L, at some point the app will just gives FC. Any other alternative?
I'd really like to know this as well. Overly paranoid corporations these days seem to be implementing root check security thus stonewalling anyone with a rooted device. This puts just about everyone running rooted Lollipop at a huge disadvantage when trying run anything from banking apps to games.
We need to put up the bat signal or something and call all devs here on XDA to arms bc this really sucks!
Rootcloak on Xperia Z Lollipop stopped working too. Hopefully someone will come up with a fix soon.
Helllllp developers
Still no luck till today?
This is what I'm mostly missing on my OnePlus One. Can't use my mobile payment app (UGO Wallet) without something like root cloak Wonder if there's a quick and easy way to unroot when I want to use it, an re-root when I'm done using the app.
Fastest way I have this moment is to unroot via SuperSU, then re-root via TWRP.
Still nothing? I need this too.
Bumpy bump xD

MrElectrifyer, I might have a solution for you. I was in the same boat as you. I am now able to use UGO Wallet with root. Result could vary because of hardware and OS.
My phone: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
OS: Android Lollipop 5.1.1
Custom ROM: [ROM][G920/5 ○ 5.1.1 ○ 29AUG] XtreStoLite Deo-Mod Edition 2.3
Install xposed Framework and RootCloak v1.3 (Do not use v1.4 it will crash the UGO Wallet app)
1. Open RootCloak, Add/Remove "com.ugo.mobilewallet"
2. Clear cache, clear data and force stop UGO Wallet
3.Restart phone
You should now be able to get pass the root detected when UGO Wallet app is launched.
I encountered one more in app error, which was device hardware incompatible because I was using a US ROM. I simply edited my build.prop file to a supported Model number "ro.product.model=SM-G925W8"
Best of luck
Apparently it supports lollipop 5.0+ now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-rootcloak-completely-hide-root-t2574647
Sprint Note 3, stock rooted lollipop. Debloated and heavily modded. When I enable Download Booster using the built-in toggle, I get the icon in my status bar, but it is dark. There also doesn't seem to be any change in my download speeds when I use it. I have heard that Sprint is disabling this? Any workaround /mod for this? Thanks in advance.

The onlt thing I remember about the download booster is you need to have a wifi presents established. Have you tried doing a nand/recovery backup, then going a fresh flash and seeing if it works then? I have messed up built-in functions before debloating and modding.

As I understand it, several things would have to be reverse engineered for it to happen so I'd imagine that it's unlikely but is anyone reported to be working on it?

No. Won't happen.
LG stock cam for custom ROMs has been the most requested feature for the past 1.5 years. If it was going to happen, it would have happened by now...
It's one of the reasons I'm on rooted stock firmware -- with Magisk mods, xposed Gravity Box + other mods. I can customize how I like.
Both Magisk and Xposed can pass Safety Net.

I don't think it's at all likely it will happen.
But, leaked images of the Pixel 4 indicate a multiple lens rear camera setup. It's possible / likely the port of those versions of the Gcam app will be more adaptable to the V30 lens setup. Maybe the ports will then be just as good as the OEM cam app? We'll know more shortly.
Cheers

That's a shame, thanks for the information. I've remained on vanilla stock as I no longer tinker with my phone the way that I used to, but there are small things about the stock firmware that drive me nuts.
The DND settings are completely mucked up, there's no DND while the device is on silent.
My biggest gripe is such a small thing. On my Nexus 6, I had fine-tuned control over my notifications, including the ability to limit app notifications to once every X minutes. That was incredibly useful for me and I wish that I had that control. Do you utilize a particular xposed mod for notification control?
