help pls my status bar stopped working - HTC One X+

For some unknows reason my status bar stopped working.
All updates or mail notifications shows up - but it's inactivated
so when I touch it nothing happens. :S
me try to flash new room > Android_Revolution_HD-One_X+_8.0 > not fix :/
and me try factory reset and not fix
pls any help guys ?

and If I start an app and rotate the device through 90 degress the pull down works whilst in "landscape" mode.
If I used the *#*#3424#*#* code and draw lines verticall from bottom to top they stop where the notificaton area would start but Idon't know if that is normal ??

There is something called "digitizer" in our phone. Your digiter has been damaged and therefore the upper part of the screen doesn't work. Happened to me to and as I see on this forums, this is something common for the HOX+.
I live with it for over a year now. It is really easy to get used to live without touching the upper screen part, but it is not always comfortable to work that way.
The only solution is to let your phone repair.

There is no solution to fix this problem by Software ?
Only solve the problem by changing the screen??:crying:

No. This is a hardware thing, not software.
But as I said, you can live with that. You can for example download apps that expand the status bar at one click or a luncher which expands it whenever you swipe down anywhere on the screen.
It might be difficult for the first days, but you get used to it, believe me.

> sure i use luncher > but i can use status bar just in home . if i join in setting i can't use status bar :/

Some apps can be bind to a "long home button key press". Maybe this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.friedflow.statusbarexpander
Then hold the home key and choose it.
