There are dedicated threads for ROMs but what about HELP/QUESTIONS??
People generally straight away start a new thread to get their doubts solved. But this can lead to chaos in the forum.
I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the XPERIA M4 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

Wifi problem
I've just bought this phone and the wifi signal is not strong enought.
With other phones the wifi signal is strong but this phone doesnt get the wifi network.

I have tried out MyXperia (a security program of Sony) and then, i restar my phone, it asked me to authorize by log in Google account which i had set up MyXperia before. When i tried to log in, it said "Incorrect username and/or password". Everytime i restart, i can live for 15 second and then, it locked me out. I did factory reset but it still there althought my device wiped all my data. So now, i have been locked out of my M4 and have 15 second to stay alive everytime i restart
Please anyone help me with this I bring it to Sony Center for guarantee service but they said they can didnot have anything for M4 at this time to fix this.
Please help me, i need my phone for keep in touch with people!

Have you tried logging into MyXperia from a PC , changing your password, and then logging in using the phone with the new, correct credentials?

it required to log in Google account, not the password. In MyXperia from PC i can log in, but not in my phone.

Maybe try Flashtool and re-install the firmware. That may help to wipe the protected partition?

He has touch problems when using custom roms, which are not stock based.
Few people reported that problem when using CM rom's. Not sure what is the cause..

which harrdware causes this problem touch screen digitizer or main board.

-Auto-rotate screen. When you canceled, the screen still rotate in any interface unless home screen.
-Stay awake. Not work.
-Data usage. Data usage cycle cannot choose!
-status bar abnormal, this only happened once!

Problem
Hi, i try to install this ROM to my sola, but when i was tho reboot in CWM, by mistake, i choose to boot to bootloader.
I install Build.1
Now the phone dont reboot to anything. it dont even starts.
I try to reset with Vol up and power button for some time until it gives the three signs and nothing.
please, anyone can help me with this??

@munjeni has started development for 4.4 for GO, as soon as he gets it booted he will port it to SOLA.......
Also this thread will help people report for bugs.... people who are testing can help list the bugs...... so that all the dev working can work on the bugs as on priority.......
Also should I change this it to general i.e. not only for SOLA....... please suggest.......
UPDATE: Just made it general thread for all devices so that DEV thread are not spammed......

Have you tried searching 30 nights? Because that's when all the good stuff comes out
But, as xanthrax said, if you've done all that research and you've not found an answer, then its quite possible that such a method does not exist.
Give it a few more days though.

You're going to have to give more information than that. Specifically:
what custom ROM
custom ROM's version
Android version
What modifications you have installed
the model of your phone
It would also be nice if you could provide a logcat. And rather than creating a new thread, post this question in the thread for your specific ROM.

Hi, that's my case, my mac address is 00.00.00.00.00.00 (6x00) and In followed the instructions as per the link you kindly posted but it didn't work for me the mac address doesn't change.

Same phone as you, same rom - I created that config file months ago and it still works.
No idea why it works for some but not others

Not MY guide, I just linked to it because it worked for me and lots of others - but yea, lately there seem to be more users that can't get it to work

Sorry @SuperQvas, but I don't have an answer. The first time I installed Resurrection Remix on my LG G5 the WiFi worked fine. However, I recently installed it again a few days ago (version 5.8.5) and the WiFi has been spotty. I am able to connect, but the connection frequently drops, and is quite annoying at times.
Try posting in the corresponding thread. If you can find a solution, please let all of us know!
EDIT: Looks like autoprime has a fix! Next time I install RR I will try out the fix.

Yeah, autoprime killed the pain!!!
I accidentally deleted my OS through TWRP recovery while I was trying to clear the cache. Now the device is stuck at the Xperia logo and I can't even access TWRP anymore. I can't get flashtool to recognize my device either. :/
I did this: xperiastockrom.com/flash-sony-xperia-stock-rom (Sorry can't post links yet)
but I can't even turn my device off .. it's just stuck on the Sony Logo
So everything was fine till Step 11
Someone can help me? Or is the phone lost for ever?

Here's a little secret for improving your chances for obtaining some support and guidance... :thumbup:
That Q&A thread has members who currently has (or knows about) your specific device (= Sony Xperia Z2).
If you asked this question, within that Q&A thread, your more likely to receive some support and guidance that's more accurate since those members have this device as well.

Hi , in your place I would turn off your device, to do that you have secret red little button to turn off your device and try to use Sony PC Companion to repair Software .
