Hi all …..
I have the same problem …. It start from two days
It was working in "GDX v21b" and all fine except the magnetic sensor not working and gives this note "magnetic sensor failed"
Maybe it's not working from the first …. I don't know, I was afraid that my magnetic sensor is broke so I decided to install another ROM and I test "MiniCM7Pro_V21" …. The installation work ok and the magnetic sensor work good but the camera work in VGA mode not in 5M Pix so I test another ROM "RSv02beta" but phone refuse to start the installation so I give another ROM " MiniCM7-2.1.9-mimmi" the install start work but did not complete and the xrecovery stop respond so I remove the battery and reboot the phone.
Now the if I boot ON the phone it hang on SE Screen …. The phone not responding for the back or the on/off button …. I can't go to the xrecovery or tern it off till I remove the battery
I do it many time and connect it to Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 and didn't work
Can any one help me

Well, MiniCM won't work unless you've installed the right kernel. Remember, when installing a rom, always read the instructions!
Have you tried using SEUS instead of PC Companion?

Maybe you can read instructions to install specific ROM? For that ROM named MiniCM7 2.1.9 you need custom kernel in order to work. So it is for our phones but you just need to set up everything written in instructions. Read instructions how to, what are requirements for that ROM, etc. Maybe you'll find solution to install it.

Download THIS firmware..!! (It is modified Active firmware .42 GB)
Flash it using "flashtool"
boot u r device (first boot can take 10 mins)
and u will see u r touch screen working know..!!..!!
After that install Your device FTF ..
Working on all devices ..!!

3:flash that wrong rom again
4:if wrong rom was ics,rom will not boot then remove the battery to turn phone off then flash .62 firmware again if it was gb,do the same work
5:wait until stock rom boots the touch will be fixed

You can't change files in ftf, because ftf is sony signed so this is impossible! So I think you took it from the post I mentioned before!

officiallysonyrebel as stated this has been shared previously however not in it's own thread so in the spirit of sharing it's fine to post it up however you must give credits to where you found it. It also seems that your guide is not complete as you can't stop at just flashing the active FTF which is a stock Sony file not modified so please don't tell people it is. For it to fully work you need to then flash the stock firmware for the device over the top as per xshanep19's instructions.
To clear everything up please complete your instructions and also link to xshanep19's post to say the instructions are also there but you're just making them available for everyone who might not see that post.

srry bro It was not me with this account .. was in tution at that time and my younger just messed up everything sorry again..!! hope u understand..!!:angel:
Btw I don't think that the phone will boot up completely with the active ftf. I think you have to flash the ftf for your device first, before you will get it booting, or am I wrong?

nope i think as from one person .. used this and he said that phone is booting and touch screen is working .. but not correctly u just have to flash Your specific device FTF ..!! and touch screen working after that..!!

I followed the steps as mentioned by you and while flashing you given rom i get this error....

Wifi problem
I've just bought this phone and the wifi signal is not strong enought.

I have tried out MyXperia (a security program of Sony) and then, i restar my phone, it asked me to authorize by log in Google account which i had set up MyXperia before. When i tried to log in, it said "Incorrect username and/or password". Everytime i restart, i can live for 15 second and then, it locked me out. I did factory reset but it still there althought my device wiped all my data. So now, i have been locked out of my M4 and have 15 second to stay alive everytime i restart
Please anyone help me with this I bring it to Sony Center for guarantee service but they said they can didnot have anything for M4 at this time to fix this.
Please help me, i need my phone for keep in touch with people!

it required to log in Google account, not the password. In MyXperia from PC i can log in, but not in my phone.

Maybe try Flashtool and re-install the firmware. That may help to wipe the protected partition?

There is very little support for this device. Have you tried a hardware reset?
Confirm and make sure that LENOVO VIBE Z K910 Battery is fully charge or not empty
Turn off LENOVO VIBE Z K910
Press together : POWER + VOLUME UP about several second, that the warning will appear at the LENOVO VIBE Z K910
Choose: Reset Device or Wipe data or Clear eMMC
Make sure we already sure than we know that our application and data will be loose or clear while Resetting LENOVO VIBE Z K910
Then you can follow the thread I linked or lots of information and helpful people in this thread.

You can't possible brick your phone while flashing.It's a myth.And only Nexus devices are known to do so.Chinese devices are tangible and won't do anything to oppose PC's authority.So,Follow the tutorial.I have been flashing firmwares modifying ROMs building kernels for 5 years and only a Nexus 5 was Permanently "Bricked" which was later solved.

It is possible to brick your Z5 if you don't know how to recover IMEI, persist etc. It happened to me and many others on here. I was able to recover my phone thanks to the help of others and the various threads.
The Z5 is much easier to brick than many others I have played with e.g. Oneplus etc. I think the main problem is there is no proper recover software. Qfil doesn't seem to flash everything, it certainly doesn't flash the persist partition.

Never Used a Chinese Device so I don't have a lot of experience with them.But all of my Other devices went well with flashing.I was flashing at least 8-9 Times per day while testing my nethunteros ROM.

Please please Podge , help me please you have experience with this phone so please give me steps to install the stock rom , my phone is new , when i turn it on it show me a message( the bootloader is unlocked and software integrety cannot be guaranteed....)

In this donwload there is the stock rom and guide for flashing it, the translator have called it rooting but it is flashing, if that is the guide which is unclear please ask for clarification, and ill get you on stock rom.

dont do... within a couple of days you will be promped with an ota update in notifications just press install on that. the ota updates is working but the app for checking them manually does not.

i have flashed the ZUI 3.9.200ST and the i have updated it manually to the ZUI 4.0.390ST (downoaded from the Russian site) every thing is working now
Led notification work. there is a problem , for exemple when i receive a message from Messenger , the phone sometimes notify me and sometimes din't
any one can explain this problem ?

can you share with us some pictures for how your phone looks with the Android Pie ?
what its working and what its not working ?
what is the link to download it ? can i flash it with Qfil like i did with stock rom ?
There is notch support now but i have not installed it, the only thing i know that does not work is the fm radio.

thanks for pictures , i see that the time and Battery icon are cutted , i think it's not based on Zui , not ?
you didn't answer me what is the link to download it ? can i flash it with Qfil like i did with stock rom ?
