Hey Guys,
I just wanted to know which ROM are you guys using right now on your Moto E...
I've been searching for a good ROM for my device. Right now I'm using Ressurection Remix(5.0.2, CM12 Based) with Alpha Kernel 2.0.2.
And I'm experiencing battery issues.
I was on CM11 earlier didn't had any problems.
Thanks for all your answers.
Im on stock... Afraid of updating manually to LP because I don't have a computer. Can't loose my my phone
But I'm waiting for official lp
CM12 by Percy, fantastic rom
"Stock" 4.4.4, with most Motorola apps stripped, no "commercial" gApps like Books/Movies,
Gravitybox for extra quicksettings + swapped back/multitasking keys + camera when dragging home key + smaller navbar + battery % inside icon + 4-way reboot + long press volume to change songs + nonintrusive landscape keyboard + ram usage in multitasking view!
I tried Lollipop (the Nandroid image from the dual sim model, which works surprisingly well on the 1021) but I didn't like it (I'd be running Cyanogenmod if someone made a theme to make it resemble Gingerbread, for that matter!!)

Do all Custom ROMS for all the positive features they may bring always result in less stabililty than a Stock ROM?
I imagine CM7 to be the best....seeing as he works for Samsung also. I certainly found it the best when I had the I9000/Galaxy. However looking at the CyanogenMod forum there are plenty of people raising issues with the builds (including 'stable' builds).
I really enjoy trying different ROMS usually but I am deliberately sticking with a rooted stock at the moment - and it has never froze, crashed or rebooted itself yet! I do miss fiddling with my phone though!
Thoughts/opinions appreciated.
Thanks

Yes.

If you want a stable rom, then use the one in my sig. Oxygen is amongst the most stable roms that are out here. It's almost bugfree, because the creater of the rom, Adam G is a perfectionist.
You have no touchwhizz, just stock android that works. If you are looking for a shiny rom, then this one is not for you. If you want a stable rom and an almost bug free rom, then this one is for you.
ps you won't find this rom on xda, because he does not want that anymore.
Samsung Galaxy SII
try this combination...
*CheckROM Revolution HD v3.1.1 (fast and lite)
*Speedmod-kernel-s2-k2-18-test8-CWM.zip (best battery life)

I don't know if you can say that. It has some coding from CM, drivers etc. But it is supposed to be a stock android rom, the way google intended it, with (almost) no CM stuff.
I got my Galaxy ace a half year ago .. and I tested nearly every rom / mod & theme .
but I am quite searching for a rom that has the best performance, the best speed and it should be very stable - without lags. It don't need to be themed - it can look like a stock rom.
Thx for your help xda-team ♥
Choose stock....like me, i know there will be more comment after me saying custom is better (of coz, they made it)
But until now no custom rom is stable...
I use stock wxks6 then convert to ext4, plus...cf-root kernel and lagfreeV2 script....all working well.
Owh, and now using miui launcher...cool

oh nice thank you for now . . . i will check that out
After having tried many.
The Rom custom of the TheMyth (devilsking) are the best.
always the same functionality as stock.
ICS Final hands down. After flashing some other roms and looking around, this rom is by far the most stable and fastest I've tried. Never had any problems with the rom and I've been using it ever since the Final version came out. The only problems I've had are with random apps and such, never with the rom itself. Got a champion right there ;D
Highly recommend it.

Hello,
I just joined XDA im on this forum for a week now and i kind off like it. I decided to root my phone because i want more battery life and AOSP like phone.
I have an International Samsung Gakaxy S3 i9300 with CM 6 recovery.
Rooted ofc
I searched all week for a rom but just couldnt find one for my needs.
So can you help my guys by finding a good rom and kernel for me? and im on the base version i9300DXELK1.
What i need:
AOSP Look rom, like the nexus phones.
Best battery life possible
Customize my rom (doesnt have to be in the rom, its cool to download a ZIP theme and flash it (the rom needs support. I tryd with foxhound but the foxhound options were missing with a theme it was the JKAY theme, I just want to have a high theme choise, and diffrent icons you know.)
Able to install mods etc.
AOSP Apps, like camera dailer, messaging, etc etc.
AOSP Lockscreen (Not the 4.2 widget one)
What i like to have:
4.2 Sphere camera.
4.1 Toggles on notification bar.
Able to mod my rom.
DPI Changer (dont need just like to have).
I am also looking for a good kernel that even more gives me more battery life. Im running siyah, im asking this because maybe theres a better battery life kernel then siyah
Thanks for reading
I hope i made this post good.

try foxhound.although it is jb 4.1.2 you can install swipe keyboard and photosphere camera on foxhound ota.
Foxhound isnt themeable:S And i prefer 4,1 jb im trying slim bean now i kinda like it, but i dont like the launcher because its not the standart launcher.
But final qeustion is there a CM or AOKP 4.1 what is stable (No bugs or almost no bugs) I only see nightlys of it. I think stock cm is best for me isnt it?
Yeah im kinda a critic xd. sorry
i recently started installing custom roms also, i tried cyanogen mod 10 which i found to be ok but a bit of a rough feel. then i tried ultima rom and to be honest its brilliant. if all else fails google
Discussing what the best/most stable/good ROM is is against the rules, reported
DO NOT POST A "What's the best ROM/Kernel/Theme?" THREAD!
Hello @xda users
I changed so many ICS, JB roms but was never satisfied. Stock ICS and roms based on stock were very laggy, CM9 based were not totally stable (in my opinion) and had low volume, LED bar issues, battery is not good. JB roms based on stock from Sony are not smooth, battery is awful. CM10, CM10.1 and CM10.2 still have so many bugs, not ready for daily user.
So i decided to go back to GB till a stable CM10.2 build comes out.
drvijayanand made a really lightening fast GB-ROCKS version but due to warez XDA's rule, his rom had been removed.
I got his permission to use his old rom as based to continue his perfect dev and make a new rom called LongevityGB

Guys ,
Tell me Which is good for overall usage, gaming -- Stock or CM11.
On installing CM11 , internal memory will be increased or not? Its size is less than Stock Rom size. Its almost half the size of stock Rom.
What do You Guys Use? Mention other Roms if u use them. Also Mention Why You are Using them.
I think it depends on what you seek.
Stock is more stable and has no bugs, whit Xposed, Gravity and Root you wil be pleased.
But if you want customization CM11 will be your path :3
