WHY... use a custom ROM, if you don't know how to handle it.. Of course it got stuck at the logo.. you format /system. There is not much more your phone could had done.
If you format everything, make sure to at least install another ROM in xrecovery, before you reboot.
I read the steps but when it says 'connect in usb slot', it wont work because when i plug my phone in my computer, it says that it isnt connected.

You need to connect it in Flash Mode, not just attach the cord.
Press and hold the back button (that's the one on the right)
and while pressing, insert the cord in the USB slot (assuming of course the usb cable is already connected on your PC).
A green light will flash steadily and the procedure should go on from there.
Ah! After you see that light, you can let go of the button!
FYI, the reason all this happened is because you formatted /system partition.
Practically, the phone is not stuck. There's just no firmware on it to load.

I dont think my x10i flash mode is working. Mine got stuck after Flashing XperiaTW rom using xrecovery. It will bootup, and then shows Android system not responding force close/wait. clicked both , shows up again . now i dont really know what to do
Just use flashtool/SEUS and flash in the latest stock firmware.
Your cases are not the worst ones we've seen in this community.
i forgot to turn debugging in applications.. my xrecovery also doesn work... is there anyway to restore original settings?? pls reply asap
Hi every one
the best way to overcome this problem is to download Sony Ericsson Update Service (sony-ericsson-update-service.en.uptodown.com) and take your phone back to it's primary status.
I had this issue..
Where my X10 starts automatically(even after pulling out the battery and putting it back again) and get's stuck at the SE log, and you won't be able to go to Flashmode to use Flashtool.
Simply, follow the instrcutions below:
1. Take out the battery.
2. Connect the usb cable to your computer.
3. While holding the back button, put the battery back.
4. You are in flashmode again, Green LED should be on.
5. Done!.
X10 - stuck on SE Logo
Hi ,
I have this problem as well, the phone is stuck on Sony Ericsson Logo. Just hangs there. I tried with flashtool to no avail, pc companion and update service. ZIP .. nothing !
It seems like it doesnt want to flash. Please help me..
In SEUS if you connect the phone with BACK pressed for 5 seconds it`ll restore to your previous state ( i think) :cyclops:

You soft bricked your phone, so follow these steps
1) Copy all important files from your MMC are copied onto your laptop (Music, snaps etc)
2) Now format your MMC (external SD card) and wipe everything clean (system cache, data,Delvik Cache) from your phone using CWM
3) Copy required ROM onto your MMC.
4) Flash the kernel and WiFi module (some WiFi modules can be flashed via CWM)
5) I usually flash WiFi module after flashing my ROM (flash WiFi module only if its required)
6) Install ROM and reboot
7) Good to go
Hopefully this helps
I have the endles sboot problem also:
I updated the phone using PC companion to the last version and still i have bootloop. And the update proces was a succes, no error ocured.
I try the Flash downgrade kernel and then the upgrade kernel but still it is on endless bootloop.
Any ideas?
Hi All,
First off, thanks for taking the trouble read my post!
In the attempt to root my I9100G phone using Odin and GT-I9100G_LP7_ClockworkMod-Recovery_5.5.0.4.tar, I stupidly followed the wrong instructions at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679778
I didn't have ICS - only GB - so I was completely wrong. Whilst Odin said success, the phone now only boots into Recovery Mode.
1) I can't enter Download Mode - I've tried but the Download screen just blinks and then CWM-Based Recovery Mode reappears.
2) I have tried wiping the cache
3) I have tried wiping data/factory reset
4) If I try to plug in the USB cable whilst in Recovery Mode, Odin does not recognise/detect the phone
5) The only way for me to shut down the phone now is to pull the battery out
I have also tried following Phistachio's Guide on "Fix an unflashable or soft bricked I9100G" but since Odin does not detect the phone when I plug the USB cable, I can't get past Step 3.
I'm a noob so according to the XDA video, I hate myself for messing up! I would appreciate ANY help - as I'm such a noob, please try to speak to me like you would to a 5-year old.
Thanks

Dear All,
I'm happy to report that by the grace of Jesus Christ alone - after trying multiple times to quickly press the Volume Up key when the Downloading screen blinked, Odin suddenly detected the device - and I immediate proceeded to flash it with superatmos_I9100G_kernel_v3.2.tar
The phone has now started up and I'm in the process of restoring backups.
Thank you!!
Wrong thread mate. This is only for GT-I9100, there is another one for the G version. Better ask there
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
so u can boot into recovery mode.. why not flash another kernel through recovery mode
1)just pull out your SD card and connect it to ur computer through any SD reader
2)download the .zip file of any custom kernel u like and the put ur SD back in ur phone and flash that kernel and install that zip file from your recovery then wipe cache and data and see what happens
Note : u can do that also with a whole rom ( cwm flashable )
Solved!

my phone is xperia sola
ics
unlocked bootloader
cwn recovery installed
rooted
ultimate sola v.2 rom
i have installed an app ( beats audio somthing )

and from that moment it's restarting
forever restarting :crying:
i can't even unlock teh lock screen fast enough , it restart again
p.s : sorry for my bad english i hope you understand my problem
Can you enter CWM?
If not, shut it off first, press power + volume down untill you feel 3 vibrations.
Enter CWM and format dalvik cache and cache, this won't lose any data, and try to boot again.
Does you CWM support adb?

CWM is copied to /system partition or is in custom kernel if that's what you had, it's lost once you flash new firmware, otherwise it should not be lost.
Istead powering up try to connect to the charger after you shut it off and try enter CWM then when you see the SONY logo.

How was it in safe mode, were you able to go past lock screen or backup with PCC?
Can you ebter fastboot mode or flash mode? If you can flash custom kernel that has CWM and flash stock after if you want stock.
Or you can flash firmware again if you don't mind losing data.
Hi, I'm not experienced with custom roms, so I bricked my phone trying to install cyanogenmod, please help me
I tried to install custom rom on my xperia p so I unlocked bootloader, rooted and got recovery. Everything seemed to be fine until i tried to flash cyanogenmod, I can't provide link because I'm new user. Using Flashtool I accidentally (not knowing exactly what I'm doing) chose "select system to Flash" and klicked on boot.img from this pack. After several minutes without respond it showed only "Please check the log before rebooting into system" so I disconnected phone. When I try to start, it only shows sony logo for a short while and then it resets, and shows it again and resets... I can only reset it by holding vol+ and power button until it vibrates 3 times, then I can put it in fastboot mode.
Please tell me, what should I do now. And sorry for my bad english.
Flash stock, flash the boot.img in fastboot mode, reboot and flash the zip.
If you did not copy the zip yet boot after flash and copy.
Thank You very much. Everything works fine now, excepting data access via mobile network. I'll try to find the answer in another thread. Thanks again!
Hey,
I'm new to this forum, but i know something about changing roms etc. But today i tried to change rom on my Xperia P.
I unlocked BL then flashed custom kernel, its Nemesis Kernel v6.3. Then i wanted to flash custom rom - Honami Moonwalker. Then i did everything with instruction, and theres problem. I did format /system and turned off CWM by mistake. now when im trying to turn on the phone i just get the NXP text, and a one vibration of the phone.
What to do with this? How i can flash stock kernel or system?
More info: Green light shows only for a moment when i try to get flash mode, same thing happens with blue light when i enter fastboot mode. The problem is my computer cant get now Fastboot,Flash or ADB drivers. and i cant flash stock system.
Please help me..
Greetings

There are few options.
You can flash 6.2.A.1.100 ROM or even try flashing the system only from the ROM with flashtool.
Or you can repair with PC Companion
The problem is i can't flash, because phone cant enter flash or fastboot mode. I can't use PC Companion - unlocked BL
Ok, problem solved, i needed to remove battery from my XP to let it get total reset ( power + vol up didnt work). Please close thread.
