[MOD][XPOSED] Append timestamp to outgoing SMS - Xposed Framework Modules

This module adds the current time onto the end of messages sent via the stock messaging app (com.android.mms)
Optionally, you can have a separator between the message and the time
You can also choose between 12 and 24 hour timestamps
Changelog
1.1 - 21.3.15
Option for 12 or 24 hour
Option for separator
1.0 - 15.3.15
Initial Release
APKs are attached and can also be found on the Xposed Repository

Thanks for the module sir.. can you make module that add small tick icon if message has been delivered/received like in Go Sms or Cyanogenmod Messaging app for other messaging app ex: for Touchwiz in Galaxy S5

I've uninstalled this and its still there, is there a method to remove it?

Both
The person receiving the message will also have the timestamp in it

how does it work ??

I like it. Suggestions:
1) add a separator before the time stamp so that it doesn't look like part of the message and confuse the recipient. For instance, the vertical stroke | would be a good separator.
2) option for 12 hour time and no leading zero in the time specification. The current 24-hour time may be standard in many cultures, but in the U.S. the 24-hour clock is military time.

thanks for the separator and the 12-hour clock, but one or both of these would make 12-hour clock look more natural, at least to people in the United States:
1) remove leading zero from 12-hour clock
2) add AM/PM to 12-hour clock

[PA Colors] [2013-05-21] Z_colors

Ok, here is a pet project I've been working on, search didn't yield that anyone else had posted something similar.
Basically it adds another button on the Hybrid properties launch section, where you would see the different ui buttons, that contains color presets for more apps.
Includes:
Xda app (regular, pro, and tab) (dark theme)
Instagram
Netflix
Gmail
Flipboard
Ingress
Stock clock
Dropbox
Alarm Clock Xtreme
Evernote
MyScript Calculator
News & Weather
Dialer
Facebook
Facebook Messenger
Hangouts
Google Plus
Apex Launcher (Transparent statusbar)
Email
Grocery IQ
BaconReader (reddit app)
BeyondPod
Kindle
iHeartRadio
Google Play Music (there seems to be some kind of bug with this one)
Google Keep
Notes Lite by Fluffy Delusions
If you have more color presets, feel free to post them and I'll add them in if they look right.
Flashable zip version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nxbq57khasraqxx/Z_colors-2013-05-21.zip
Manual version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oadn3izkqz1k805/Z_colors-2013-05-21.xml
For the manual version, copy the Xml to /system/etc/paranoid/preferences/
Set perm to rw-r--r--
Undo options
There is no one click method to get rid of the applied Zcolors without removing any other modifications you have made in the hybrid properties, this is a limitation of the Hybrid Engine. There are three ways I can think of off of the top of my head to revert these colors:
1. Go to Settings > Hybrid Properties > Apps, then click on the app you want to revert to stock, then click the reset icon (circle arrow with a dot in the middle). Repeat for each app.
OR
2. Using a file explorer, go to /system/etc/paranoid/ and open properties.conf. under ##SYSTEM PREFERENCES you will see a bunch of entries like "com.facebook.katana.colors="FFCBD2DF|B2FFFFFF|FFF FFFFF|FF5975B0|FFFFFFFF". Delete the lines for the apps you don't want the coloring on.
OR
3. Go to Settings > Hybrid Properties > Tools > Reset Properties. This will get rid of all Zcolors and any other modifications you have made to per app colors/dpi. If that doesn't bother you, then this will be the quickest easiest route.
Also, If after doing that, you want the Zcolor option to go away, you can go to /system/etc/paranoid/preferences/ and delete Z_Colors.xml. All my flashable file does is drop that XML in the right folder and set permissions correctly for it.

The PA Hybrid color applier only shows the color configs for the apps you currently have installed.
It does apply all of the color changes to the properties.conf file though, so if you apply this and then install the app later, the coloring should still work.

If it's the ZColors, this is the most updated version, none of my work is in the playstore.
I can always add to it if you have requests, or fix it if something is broken.

My apologies, I confused it with something else. Thank you for your contribution, it´s much appreciated!
I noticed that when I for example open a (gmail)app where the top and bottem bar become white and I leave it for idle so it goes to the lock screen the bars remain white until I unlock the screen and close the app. Is this considered to be a bug? Could it be PA related?
I installed Z colors through the recovery menu, however I´m unable to revert back to the default stock colors. See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2463398

[MOd][Xposed]Xdual Statusclock

Now with "working" Lollipop!!!
This mode shows a second clock of a chosen timezone in your status bar. So if you are far from home or always need to know the hour on the other side of the world, you can use this mod. I made this being on an exchange semester and wanting to easily see the time at home.
It only has very basic functionality but I wanted to share it anyways. I am thinking about adding more features like custom layout for the clock, custom offset....
Currently I do not have much spare time to work an the mod but I will try my best to keep up. So if you find any bugs or glitches, please let me know.
Screenshot
See attachement
Download and install
Of course you need to have installed the XPosed framework to have this mod working. You can find the mod in the Xposed Repo or attached to this post.
Changelog:
26.July 2015 - Added support for Lollipop 5.0
26.Nov 2013 - Added support for 12-hour format
24.Nov 2013 - Added manual DST support and choosable divider between the clocks
21.Nov 2013 - Initial release

@Jukka666
what about adding a countdown or rather time left to the next Alarm ? Would that be possible?
If not using the Android alarm clock which would be the best as far as Wake Locks go. Maybe something custom?
Adding really some timers (maybe how much work left)
I have bought 3 or 4 Alarm clocks and none has that functionality. Only in Notification Panel.
Having this in the Status Bar right next to the clock would be AWESOME.
(Stopwatch is maybe farfetched, and timer maybe not needed) I hope you understand what I mean.
Something like
oCurrent time is 14:14
Next Alarm is at 20:00
In status bar would be 14:14/>06:46
Maybe some icon showing the Alarm etc . Or maybe really just something simple and static. 14:14/20:00
These are just a suggestions NOT REQUEST's. (Sorry for the caps, but many wannabe Moderators/Recognized..."some nasty" words, are allergic to any suggestion and start crying about some new idea)
Thanks for the mod !

That is an interesting idea, worth thinking about.
What comes up my mind: Just plain text counting down to your next calendar event (or your custom set time of the day when you finish work) in form of "current time"|"time left" 12:08|00:52. I am not really into building Android apps, thats the first step I took, so im only guessing that this could use a serious amount of system power, since the status bar is refreshed quiet often... but when I find some time, I will look into it.

That's already more that I hoped for . Thanks even for considering.
Maybe the static time to the next event, not a countdown or timer. Just that you can set a static time. Or it will display as you said the time of the next Alarm/Event. Really doesn't have to be a countdown.
Thinking that might be less of a strain for PC and maybe you. As said just suggestions . Maybe this even exists somewhere.
But seriously I would love more to see the time of my next alarm more as the stupid Alarm Clock Icon .
Again thanks and I do not mind if this leads nowhere, if it does even better.

For center clock, you should try XBlast tools, as I am not doing an all-in-one module.
I will look into the date-thing, this could be easy to implement. Also the mod should work on kitkat if you got your xposed working.

Updated to 1.1. Update should be awailable in the xposed installer.
If you check the DST option, the second clock will show an hour later. Thats if the other place you want to show uses Daylight Saving Time.
Also you can now choose different seperation symbols between the two clocks.

Does it change nothing in the status bar or does the app with the settings not work? Did you reboot? Module activated in XPosed?
Are you running a stock Samsung Rom? Maybe they use a different method then AOSP, so my hook wont work.
Can you add an option to enable/disable 24 hour mode of the clock (for home clock) ?

Hi, thanks for your fast response !
Maybe option to enable small/capital am/pm AM/PM, or show none (am/pm) at all, just the clock (eg. 7:00)
What do you think?

Hi, hamzahrmalik,
I am not able to express my thanks fully for the nice application you have developed. I was eagerly waiting for it.
I have few suggestions
1- kindly provide for correction of hijiri date as it may vary from country to country.
2. In portrait mode , I can only show the date, month in numbers as there is space limitation in the status bar, while in landscape mode, the date, month ain words and year can be seen. So if possible , can you make two modes, one for portrait and other for landscape-- if possible only!
Thanks for this nice and extremely useful application for me

Thank you very much, I have been waiting for this mod. I suggest to add options to delet Gregorian calendar from notification panel, delet hijri date from status bar or panel clock or both, and rearrange the hijri date elements
Also there's a problem happen when I use Xui mod and enable seconds in clock and use html code (h:mm:ss), at minites increase by 1 (58 .. 59 .. 00!) status bar show the date for second and disappear. I hope you fix it. I think if you add option to delet date from status bar that will be enough.

Thanks for the great work.
I know the difficult part of adding real offset is that the offset is not persistent from month to month and the changes sometimes imply the change of the length for the month and the month before.
i like your approach: 0 Ramadhan. We ourselves should interpret that date.

[MOD][Xposed][4.0.3+] SlicedToast 1.2 Shortens toasts below minimum

Hello everyone, this is my first xposed mod. I've always been annoyed with how long even the short toasts are, around 2 seconds, and since using BurntToast by MohammadAG the big toasts seemed to get in the way since they took so long. So in short this mod lets you make toasts shorter than the minimum and anywhere in between up to the maximum toast length. I've also added an option to disable toasts altogether if you're so inclined. I'll be uploading to the repository soon, just wanted to post here first.
Thanks all!
edit: I've updated the mod to have a more streamlined menu and to no longer require a soft reboot to make settings stick. I've also added a button to test your toast.
Works great on Note 3. Thanks

Works great. Is it possible to disable toasts for specific apps rather than everything?
Some screenshots please?
Could you clarify what this module does? Is it shortening the time the toast is displayed? or shortening the size of the toast? TIA!

can you also add the ability of swipe-to-remove the toasts?
also maybe have the ability to customize their default looks ?
for example, show which app (icon and/or package name) has created the toast.
or maybe a background (maybe of a real toast ) ?
it would be nice if there could be something like touch through toasts if you know what I mean...
PM from Turkish translator
I also changed Sliced Toasts please change that, trust me it was little complex. This is better.
Choose Toast Length - Toast'ın ekranda kalacağı süreyi seçin
Check to use a custom length - Süre için özel değer girin
Custom (maximum 3000ms) - Değer (En fazla 3000ms)
And don't forget to check upper case-lower case. Choose Toast Length = They should be lower case.

WTF, it does not work for me on my Note 3. I selected disable all but I still get the freaking google play toasts and other toasts.
Sorry for the inconvenient late reply,
but:
What file/s exactly does this tweak target ?
.xml files inside the framework-res.apk ?

Compatibility fixes for Sense devices, by chrisch1974.
Better alarm change detection.
Added clock style preference: choose between the AOSP style and a TouchWiz-like style.
Added clock color preference.
1.2.1:
Quick fix for the alarm icon's space always being reserved (even when the icon should be hidden).
1.2:
Also modify DeskClock's (AOSP clock app) notification icons (DeskClock notifies you when an alarm is due in less than 2 hours).
Add short delay before changing the icon, should fix the issues with e.g. HTC's app which sends the ALARM_CHANGED broadcast before changing the NEXT_ALARM_FORMATTED system setting.
Always keep the right side alarm drawable (should fix issues with the icon changing back after a while).
1.1:
The hours hand will now move depending on the minutes too (this fixes e.g. "6:55" being seen almost like "5:55").
Added Timely support, should work with the latest Timely version (1.2.7). You may have to re-apply set alarms.
1.0:
Initial release.

Good mod. But can you make it so instead of the alarm clock it shows the alarm time in numbers? Or add it as an option? Thank u Btw.

So I changed my alarm but the hands don't change. Had to reboot for it to change.

Screenshot please
Would you mind adding the quantity [minutes/60] to the hour value so that it correctly moves the hand between the hours? For example, right now 6:30 has both hands facing directly down, whereas the hour hand should actually be at the 32.5 minute mark (to represent 6.5 hours). If that's not how you wanted it to be implemented, then so be it.
It works perfectly for me. Did you make sure to reboot?
Does this work with Timely by chance?

Found a bug: When i have few alarms and i set new before all - icon didnt change. I need to disable all alarms without that new and enable it again to have good icon.
But thats still Very good and funny idea!
Btw. If you wanna add setting. Please dont make icon in appdrawer like whatsapp Mods xposed module cus that module are very small.

I can't view that without logging in, and I don't have a box.com account.
You can just use a paste bin (e.g. bpaste.net or pastie.org) if you want, that's usually easier.
Also, what do you mean by "doesn't work"?

Maybe, but that's not a high priority for me.

A reboot is necessary after installing the module. After that, the hands should change when you set an alarm, to point to the *nearest* alarm.

TIAS. It should work with any clock app that causes the top right status bar alarm icon to show.

Are you sure that new alarm is set to go earlier than all the others?
@GermainZ, yes im sure.
BTW. You should add animation of change time. Like normal rotate hands in clock

Edit: Works after second reboot. Disregard the comments below.
Thanks for a prompt reply.
Sorry. Had no idea about having to have a box account - thought you could simply download the text file.
Here's the new link: http://bpaste.net/show/ffks4c8cL9CDfF3Movit/
By not working I meant showing unmodified alarm icon - it shows in the status bar, but the hands of the clock are stuck in the default position, not the time alarm was set to.
I rebooted the phone after installing your module. Do I need to do it more than once?
I have a bunch of other modules installed - could your module conflict with/be overridden by gravitybox? That's the only one that visually mods my phone, though it isn't explicitly set to affect the alarm clock icon in the status bar.
... moto x vzw ...
Lg g3....the alarm icon is not changed when timely is used to set the alarm. The icon is changed when the stock time/alarm app is used. However, in both cases, the alarm icon becomes unstable flashing on and off. I do have the g3 tweakbox module active as well.
Discreet (maybe a bit too much : the shape of the clock is a bit too "skinny" IMO) and elegant mod, that should/could be a stock feature. Working fine for me with a quick reboot (SGS4). Thanks. :good:
Loved the idea of this as I often forget the time I'd set for an alarm.
After setting an alarm it worked as expected with icon on right of status bar (where it should be imo).
I came back to tablet after an hour, woke it up and the icon had changed to standard default alarm icon. What's more after a while (possibly after another sleep/wake up) another alarm icon has appeared in the left notification side of the status bar - the normal alarm icon.
So now I have 2 standard alarm icons in the status bar, one on the left and one on be right.
I just did a soft reboot and your icon has corrected itself and the standard icon is still present on the left.
Works just fine, but seems to have a problem with clock hands for some times. It is ok for 5:40 and 7:15 but looks weird for 7:00, where it shows something like 5:55. There was another report about 6:30...
Edit: got the reason: you do not move the hour hand and my Samsung can set some smart alarm which starts a few minutes earlier with spherical sounds to gently wake you up. This makes 7:00 actually 6:57 and since hour hand does not move from its 6:00 position it looks like 5:57.

I'll look into it. About animations: maybe later when there's nothing better to do.

I'll look into supporting Timely. The flashing is stock behavior, it's not caused by this module.

This module doesn't touch the left side alarm icon. Maybe in future versions.
I'll look into the right side icon not being changed after a while.

This has been reported already and will be fixed in the next version, but I want to look into adding Timely support before releasing it.

I like the skinny look (compared to the stock icon look) - it provides room to add pixels for quarter or even hour ticks, though I would not really need this. What I would find funny is to have the regular clock in the status bar by replaced by an analog clock including a second's hand - with configurable colors for the hands - really only nice to have - but since the code for moving hands is already there (soon improved) and if OP needs another challenge, why not? It would also save a lot of space in the status bar, especially when you have added the seconds to the digital clock with another mod.
The flashing of the alarm clock icon in the status bar is not stock behavior. When I set any alarm with any alarm clock program on my lg g3, the icon appears in the status bar and is constant... It does not flash on and off.

Sure. Here's below the stock alarm icon in the status bar (SGS4, 4.4.2). I actually like the design of the clock much (shape, thickness) :
Now your alarm icon, set for 5:30, as one can see by the way in the widget at the bottom (showing the time of the next alarm, but without a dynamic icon there of course). My remark above shouldn't be taken as a criticism (always too easy in such cases), but rather the fact that, as far as I'm concerned, I regret that the stock icon design wasn't used in your mod.
