Water damaged?Warranty Bye bye?
No its a physical shut down button. you can press it for some seconds (e. g. with a pen), device should vibrate 3 times and shut down. (Same effect when holding volume up and power button for some seconds)
I think water indicators will be inside the device.
Thanks. On the bottom is white paper.Great
The water damage indicator is under the sd card port, you can barely see it but that's where it is.

This is a really quick question. Mostly wanted a confirmation quick.
I have never noticed this before and it may just be how it is but when you press the black bezel, light bleeds through the edge of the "real" screen.
Just imagine pressing your finger lightly on a monitor and it creates some kind of light.
I can only assume this is normal?
Thanks!
This is what I mean

Don't press.
And yes it's normal for an lcd, you're seeing ripples in the crystal fluid.

the screen IS NOT damaged ,so my question is can i fix it without replacing the WHOLE screen??
I had to replace the battery of my Z4T. Removing the display and replacing the battery went fine. Unfortunately when connecting the cable to the display, the connector broke (see attached image). The conncector on the right hand side is in order (see arrows). For the connector to the left the black part is broken and it can not be closed to fix the cable. Is there

a way to attach the cable without this black part? Otherwise I would need to replace the display (which is fully functional).
Hello,
My Mi 8's power button got stuck somehow, making it force-reboot endlessly, although I can sometimes get up to 6 mins of uptime before it does that again.
How could I disable the button to workaround this issue ?
Thanks
nope, you should replace the button, either its the button itself or the flexible PCB that contains the switches.
its cheap tho, mine only cost USD 3 for both button and flex cable
Wait. You can replace it with original parts?
