Hello everyone,
I'm currently using a HTC One M7 with a meenova sd card reader, in which I store all my media files, including my audiobooks. What I sometimes like to do is listen to them before falling asleep. Problem is, the meenova being mounted causes a wakelock which drains my battery overnight, even if MortPlayer is set to shut down after a couple of hours. So, if I fall asleep before stopping the audio and unmounting the meenova (which happens very often), I'm greeted by a low battery warning first thing in the morning.
Is there an application out there which can automatically unmount the meenova after a set amount of time?

When I try to charge (in a car) the phone and play music at the same time - it fails. The phone says that sd card is busy even though connection type is set to "charge only". But everything is ok when charging with normal charger at home.. Does anybody know if this can be fixed?

SULUTION FOUND: Download "Free Power Widget" from Market and disable USB mount/unmount feature on the widget dock . Phone is charging, music is playing - weeeee
And same thing happens when I charge through my PC... :/
I am so confused as to all of this and I am new to android and this is what happened with me
The story annoyed so much it took me 3 hard reset until I figured out the source of my problem
My story began when i noticed how poorly my sg2sounds on my car stereo using a 3.5mm cable so I decided to plug into the car stereo via usb as that will enhance the playing music on my stereo via usb cable.
Anyhow I bought the titantium pro from the market and ran the batch that moves all user app to sd and once I do that I noticed that my car stereo does not recgonize the gnote as a storage device and also I noticed the phone truns off once I unplug the usb cable.
So when i used I thought about moving all apps back to internal memory via titanium and my problem was solved.
Can someone shed some light on why this is happening and how to solve it, as I would like to be able to move my apps to sd card via titanium without affecting the phone's connection via usb
Check out "Multi Mount SD-Card Lite" https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rafoid.multimountsdcard.widget.free
Maybe this would help as your phone needs to unmount the sdcard from phone when connected to PC our car stereo. Therefore any apps on sdcard will stop functioning.
You need root for the above app to work.

Although Titaniun can move apps to external-SD not all apps are designed to be used on an external-SD card and therefore can either be not recognized or cause problems.Sometimes they say if its movable or not in the details of the app in the market.
Hi. I have a USB port on my car which can be used to play mp3 files of aauSB flash memory through the in car stereo system. The problem is, I needed to quickly transfer some music from my phone (Xperia Z3) to the flash memory, so I used a USB OTG cable to get it of my phone and into the USB storage. Only problem is, immediately after I plugged in the USB memory, the car did not recognise it, saying it is unsupported. I stopped the engine, waited some 10-15 minutes (so I made sure the car shut down it's computer), them tried again and did not succeed. So this leaves me wondering what could have gone wrong. I know I can simply format the memory and refill it again with the data, but I am really interested in what happened: what does actually Android do to such as memory when connected to the handset? I have to mention that the cults on the memory look fine, both on my Windows PC, and on my phone. Also, of useful, I don't know what OS the car uses, but it is a 2013 BMW 3 Series. Thanks for any help.
Hi everyone I recently switched over to Android from iPhone for the first time and have been researching all kinds of stuff like crazy.
My issue is getting my music and playlists to pop up in my cars media system when I plug it in via USB. All my music and playlists are on my SD card because it won't all fit on internal storage. I'm not as knowledgeable as many of you here but after doing some research I think the problem is because I cannot put my phone into mass storage mode and adoptable storage doesn't exist on this phone. When I plug it into my car the only sound files are some weather notification tone and another type of beeping noise or something.
If there's an easy way to manage music on my SD card without having to remove it and plug it into my computer I would love to know that as well. A couple apps I tried could only connect to my internal storage for some reason.
Thanks in advance.
I use "Poweramp" (which I think is the best media player available for android):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer
and "Bluetooth Connect & Play":
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cp2.start.and.play.music.player
Bluetooth Connect & Play allows me to choose what app I want to launch when I connect to the media centre in my car (Power amp). Works perfect.

Thanks for the reply but I don't want to connect with Bluetooth. I want a USB connection for the audio quality and so that all my media shows up on my car screen so I can search through playlists and sounds with my car not the phone
Does your head unit read your iphone like a hard drive? I think your head unit need to be android compatible for that to work on the G5 but I'm not sure.
My wife just told me hers does that. I'm not sure why it wont read from your sd card.
Hey,
so a little less then a year ago i bought the Ulefone Gemini Pro on Gearbest. And for the first few months the Phone worked flawless... but then a few prloblems started to appear.
First the external SD card randomly wasnt detected which was quite annoying cause i installed a few apps on the card which i couldnt use until, for whatever reason the card was detected again, this could either be in a few minutes or like half an hour later. Now i just use the sdcard for storage and by this I "fixed" this issue...
Then my Headphone jack broke... like it only works if you bend the connector quite hard... so I switched to a Bluetooth headset which worked fine... until it didn't...
When I connect my Phone with any Bluetooth Speaker (i got the JBL Xtreme) or Headphones (currently using marshall MID) the phone randomly loses the connection.
So first I connect it, start spotify and the songs starts. Then after some time the music randomly stops for about a second and start again until the bluetooth signal on my phone says that there is no connection anymore. And if I let Bleutooth stay active after a minute or so in connects again but wont work properly: sometimes it says its connected but the phone is blasting the music out of its own speakers.
I tried everything i could find online: from the obvious ones like battery power, compatibility.... to the less obvious ones ( for me) like: turn off WIFI signal, Battery savings options, deleting the cache, location tracking...
what i think i noticed is when i open google maps with location on, it almost everytime start with those issues.
with other phones the speaker and headphones work flawlessly so it has to be my phone..
So my question would be what else could be the culprit of this error? is there some app that interferes with my bluetooth and how can i find it (for example i found out that location tracking if it set on extra exact uses WIFI bleutooth etc. and maybe thats interfering with the connection)
Or is there another soultion?
Or could it be a hardware problem with Ulefone Smartphones cause i read in two other posts that they also got bluetooth issues...
thanks for reading
hopefully someone knows how to fix this
Best wishes
