Hi d6503 got lollipop update but we still didn't and it's killing me because I do believe it will take more time before we get too so anyone tried to flash a d6503? Or can we flash our modem files over?

I'll just wait for the official update, since I also need the root/recovery/Androplus kernel, so there's no hurry for me
I feel you bro. I am also waiting for the Lollipop fro my D6502

Yeah it is probably better if you dont rush, but it really annoying the untill now no d6502 rom has been updated
BTW there is root by flashing pre-rooted one. Just sharing the info.
Just to let you guys know, I installed the Lollipop update on my D6502 with the baseband fix and it's fine so far. I know the feels...we should have the official version for our model. When the official one comes out, I'll install it as well.
Guys, i havea D6502 and i created a prerooted 23.1.A.0.690 Baltic Generic[for 6503] zip package and added Nut's dual recovery too to the zip package, which obviously didn't work, after flashing the zip in recovery, i immediately flashed 6502_Baseband_V2.zp too (fix for d6502 modem files) . Now i have sim card signal, but my wifi is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting which is pretty unusable in this state (it reconnects almost every 5 seconds), so it's like it is constantly dropping out and then trying to reconnect. What can i do to fix this? any suggestions would be appreciated.

What do you mean? why shouldn't it work? i don't have bootloopps, everything seems working except for freaking wifi connection.
Could it be the network you're trying to connect to? I've connected to multiple networks and haven't experienced any issues.
I have D6503 but I didn't get the update yet.
d6502 lollipop
hello people...
dont worry for your lollipop. even i have the same frustration on lollipop. so i contacted the xperia customer service . they said that lollipop for xperia z3 n z3c has been released officially in india and in around or less than a week, xperia z2 (d6502) is going to get the taste of lollipop.
so dont try any other methods and ruin for mobile.

No sir, i am currently connecting with the same device to the same network but on a different rom (CM12/infected) and it's working without any problems. i can not figure out what was the problem on stock official lp except that i have a d6502 (though other users reported it's working fine for them with d6502 patch).
Are you sure you installed the baseband fix as well?

i had updated and rooted my Xperia Z Ultra C6802 to 14.3.A.0.757 few days back and today i realized that NFC icon does not show up on taskbar even when it is switched on.....i downgraded the firmware and i get the NFC icon on the phone. And after rooting and again updating to the latest version when the phone booted up for the first time it showed NFC firmware is updating plz don't switch off the phone and that also was successful
So was just wondering if this a bug with the firmware or something wrong at my end..... can someone plz confirm the same with this version of firmware on his phone

It still would not appear. I think its a software problem for non LTE XZU. I tried flashing a LTE ftf to my C6802 and NFC icon is there But upon going back to non LTE ftf or to the origina firmware version, l NFC does not appear again.

Hello,
I have tried lot of different ROMS and Kernels and patches etc. I haven;t copied anything from my original native ROM from GSM operator.
I suppose that I have problems with signal as I have low signal level in big city, I also have problems with 3g internet network.
What should I check/ override ? I think that kernel ? Is that anyone could link me propper kernel for use in Poland? If not kernel any other package - as I remember in old, Windows Mobile devices that was something called 'RADIO'
I also have problems with random restarts, no signalling of incoming calls, random switches to plane mode and battery drain.
Please help...

Please help me..i have gone through your (Pitzmans) thread for flashing and rooting xperia z2 L50u..i have done all the steps and can now connect to mobile network and make calls.....the only problem now is that i cant switch on my WIFI. Wifi worked perfectly before i flashed the radio drivers ...please help
i have solved the problem with the help of ghostofcain
i flashed the generic uk rom
then i flashed the l50u radio drivers
Flash back stock ROM? , I'm puzzled why you flashed new radio unless you where having issues though.

I have flashed back the stock rom and everything works fine now..the reason i flashed a generic uk rom(unbranded) to the phone was because i bought the phone from china and it didn't come installed with google play services.i tried installing but it always failed with an error message...i have now rooted the phone and installed google play services as a system app but i cant open playstore nor can i log in my google account it keeps crashing once i open the app...Thanks
Try flashing an unbranded ftf (using flashtool) and exclude the radio (I'm sure there is a tick box for that) and see if that works

Hi everyone,
my Z2 was updated to marshmallow then lost the baseband, after several times trying to restore it, it didn't work, until earlier, i reinstalled 6.0.1 stock wiping every thing, the phone starts telling there's no sim (the sim is inside), and after 4 or 6 minutes, the sim icon turn pressent but empty, the baseband come come again, the imei come again, but it tell No service
This phone was working okay, the sim card was 100% functional and unlocked, could he been relocked again ? what suggestion do you guys have.
Thank you all !
I'm having the same problem after trying existenz marshmallow. Checked APN, repaired to stock marshmallow with PC repair companion, flashed lollipop ftf, no luck at all... gonna try KitKat I guess. The phone goes into emergency calls only after losing signal, however toggling LTE or airplane mode fixes this until the next area with no signal. Never had this problem before trying marshmallow.

Flashed a kitkat ftf, flashed a lollipop ftf, rooted with kingroot, seems ok now. Knock wood.
EDIT: Was back on emergency calls only when I woke up. Any insight would be appreciated...
EDIT 2: Per Sony customer support, I'm going to try a replacement SIM card after work today. @kherboucha, if the problem was SIMLOCK the cellular network wouldn't work at all, so that doesn't apply (in my case at least).
Replacing the SIM card fixed the problem I was having.

hi pass??
I'm on stock MM, .291, rooted , lb, xposed, twrp recovery, got TA backup, flashing the baseband only of D6503 1.6GB ftf (through flashtool) did not work but, the flashing was successful.. I downloaded this ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/sony-z2-d6503-prerooted-customized-au-t3432625 ) rom, d6502 patch, bootloop fix zips.. Need help for running Jio 4G in my D6502.. Please Please someone instruct me..
The hardware is missing not the software, so flashing the above mentioned zips or any zip for that matter won't help.
Sorry to tell you that VoLTE doesn't work on Xperia Z2 Indian version i.e D6502. I also wanted to use jio on my phone. But it is something hardware related so it can't be fixed by flashing . :/ Sorry brother.
No, Z2 supports Jio
