Question for the masses.
I switched carriers to Verizon 1 month ago and purchased the S 4 on a two year contract. I'm not very impressed with this phone and would like to switch to the HTC One. Has anyone come up with a good way to do this sure selling privately and buying a new one cost?

If your GS4 is an MDK version and in near mint condition I'll gladly use my upgrade to buy an HTC One for you.

Would be cool if they did the same for the Max

My brother traded in my old hero for the promo. Still waiting on HTC to send the refund tho. Got the 'your HTC Trade Up refund for your old phone is on its way! You should receive it within 30 days' email over three weeks ago. Kinda hoping I get it any day now.

The whole problem is they aren't paying anyone. I'm not getting the max I'm ditching sprint going lg nexus this time around.

Looks like sprint is launching their own one year trade in program, like t-mo you pay installments for device.

Problem is that you end up paying for more than one phone and only get to keep one... Sorry I'll wait the six months. My upgrade is active every 18 months.

Saw this too. Nothing on the market at least via Sprint makes it worth my dime. Figure if you're going to pay that much for an upgrade, you want the best. Considering ditching HTC with a few of you unless they can get their act together. I like the company, but I desperately hope that they (being HTC, not Sprint) don't go bankrupt.
I got my EVO in December for a dollar, so I suppose I can wait for a new phone until August 2014.

Hmmm, maybe I misread it. It looked to me like you only have to hand over current device if you starting into one up from a position of not being currently eligible for upgrade, early adopter cost, essentially.

Don't worry the codes are shipping out quickly enough.
You should receive your code in 1-3 days.
When I signed up for the code there were over 20k people ahead of me, though it took them 3 days to send me the code.
the app is amazing, cant wait until more themes are available though!
Received my code today, funny thing is it shows 21k+ people ahead of me this morning.
