I have decided to get this.....any one have one?
I really rather like mine. Feels good in the hand.
I have the Neo Hybrid and it definitely is a great quality case. Probably offers a lot more protection vs the Ringke Slim (which I also have and use), but be aware, the bulk difference is very noticeable.

No cause It's plastic but it's huge and noticeably wider than the slim. I can't use any case but the slim cause it's just to much hand gymnastics

Case is more slippery than the naked phone too, something to keep in mind.

I have both but prefer the ringke slim. Theres a significant difference in size between the two cases, and you can really tell when holding in your hand. The spigen case was just too bulky.
I picked up the Ringke Clear one (not a slim case) and the Spigen Hybrid which is clear as well on the back. Which Ringke did you have that broke?
i have the Fusion and the Spigen Hybrid.....definitely like the Fusion better....but thats my opinion. good thing we get plenty of choices
I decided to get a Toastmade wooden back cover and will use a nice leather pouch, I may get a different clear case at some point, but the Spigen cases lack the tactile feel you need to differentiate the buttons.
I have also bad experience with ringke slim cases..
Ultra hybrid better then all of them.
Serious question, how are you breaking your Ringke slims? I ask as a user of 72 hours w/o issues who has already ordered a Crystal. Do you mean as you were putting it on?
I have both but prefer the ringke slim as well, the hybrid is very bulky and slippery.
I been using the ringke for a while with zero issues.
The nexus 6 is pretty wide so the ringke keeps it slim.
I have 5 ringke slim cases. Have used them on 2 N5's, 2 GS4's, GS3, 2 GS6's, and the N6. None have broken. Even with the N6 (if you have a ringke slim on your N6 then you know how much of a PITA the slim is to take off) I've had zero issues with these cases breaking or cracking.

Same here, my 3 year old dropped my n6 last weekend. Screen protector cracked, slim case all good...the top lip does provide a good deal of clearance for the screen.
Its a bia' to take on and off though. I ordered the Ringke Max this weekend. Had one on my g3 and was a tank vs my kids.

The Spigen Air Cushion bumper case is decent as is the Rinke tpu bumper. Very similar. The Rinke has covers for the USB and aux so I'm using that at the moment. Ive got 4 more cases coming Tuesday. Might try to do my own post sometime as I'm up to 13 cases or so besides the two spigens I've dumped in the trash.

Does it comes with the hole for sling? I used to have one for my Note 2. Slim and light but minimal protection.
I have all the spigen cases for the note 3, i think the best one is the bounce, the crappiest one is the neo hybrid.
And yes the thinnest is the bounce, and the thickest is the slim armor

search ebay for "0.3mm note 3 case". It's basically a semi hard plastic wrap/case that is super thin and only provides scratch protection. They're dirt cheap too. like $1 each. I bought a dozen and can replace them at will.

Too much bulk... And I've had bad experiences with bumpers messing up the signal. I don't really care about drop protection, just want to protect it from scratches and dirt.
Diztronic is the thinnest TPU I've used, it was ten bucks shipped from Amazon and fits in the holster that the Seido surface uses.

Only the corners are protected and it's actually one of the lightest cases and since it's made of rubber you wont have signal interruptions. Only metal bumpers cause those.
Do any of the suggested covers and bumpers raise the back to protect the camera?

Just got my case today and it works great just like my Note 2 did... It's nice for scratches and covers a good part of the phone. Fits nicely and adds a nice grip to it I like better than the back.
Currently I have a Diztronic TPU case and it's great except for the fact the the back is curved like the phone.
I often use my phone with it sitting on my desk. It's a bit of an inconvenience with it rocking back and forth.
Are there any minimal (TPU) cases that have a flat back?
Thanks

The Ringke Fusion is not flat in the back, but it does have a groove in the middle so the phone doesn't rock back and forth. But actually using the phone while it's lay flat will cause it to wobble a bit.
Actually this is one of the biggest design flaws with the phone for me, and it's 'slipperiness'. How can you build such a thing? It lives and dies for me with the feeling I'll experience while holding it. The N5 was flawless in this way.
There's this thing, which would appear to even out the curve of the back so it can sit flat on a surface without rocking.

"MOKO"
I've been using one of these for a month now and I love it. It's not "minimalist" but it's very well made, grippy (which is very important to me), gives great protection with an excellent fit and its FLAT on the back. Also very light weight for all of the protection it gives. Came with a holster which I threw away, it still fits in my back pocket just fine.

Looks like it shares a similar design to Spigen's Ultra Hybrid buttons. I don't recommend these buttons, very difficult to realize what button your hand is being placed on unless you count which can be annoying rather than having the buttons separated from each other.

Thanks! Ordered one of the Evocel cases, $11 shipped with tax via Prime.
10-minute use review:
It's properly flat, sits flat on desk and does not rock at all when I type.
Back texture is almost smooth but not "slimy" like my previous Spigen Ultra Hybrid. No matter how clean your hands are, your fingers naturally produce oil that interacts in a very gross way with perfectly smooth plastic cases...this one is textured enough to not be annoying. It's not as soft-touch/grippy as the back of a Spigen NEO Hybrid though
Has reasonable friction to prevent it from sliding off a desk. The stock N6 or N6 in Ultra Hybrid case were terrible in this regard. It's a plastic back though, not a soft-touch material, so it will slide.
The back is very thick, material thickness is much thicker than Spigen Ultra Hybrid. It *substantially* increases the size of the phone, both due to its thickness and the obvious geometry change needed to make the back flat. The normal curved shape of the N6 is very helpful for making it pocketable, I'll have to see over time whether the flat back is worth the increased bulk.
Phone feels very secure in the case, was difficult to remove.

This looks like a winner for me. Besides not being able to tell what button you're hitting, it brings me back to the Spigen Neo Hybrid which I really liked. The one they made for the N6 looks really nice too with the metallic buttons, but they left the back curved. I will give this a try for sure.
Thanks!

The slimmest i have is ringke
Try Orzly case, it is very very thin.
The Ringke Max is actually pretty 'slim' with a lot of protection. If you want close to naked feel, then the Ringke Slim might be best, but really not that much protection.

I bought the Spigen Ultra Hybrid (clear), Thin Fit (clear), Slim Armor and S Wallet. IMO the Slim Armor fit and looked the best, but FAT. The TPUs just made the phone uber FAT(er). The wallet hinge/flap/binder thing is too loose and flabby [I wanted tight form fitting].
I ordered several generic gel jelly slim TPU.
First one to arrive is one with a logo that reads INSTEN and I am very impressed by it.
It's tight (queue up Micheal Meyers), lip is thin and holds on to the frame without going over on to the glass, barely raised ever so slightly higher than the screen.
It makes the screen/viewing pop out (it might be the color I chose, yellow).
The cutouts are great, the thinly covered raised areas over the power and volume rocker are just right (if you have the slim armor you might experience what I have, where touching the buttons is just too sensitive).
Grippy and sturdy. Knocked some on the table, I'd use it to press some buttons, sure..
I might go order more colors.
Usually I like Goospery Mercury Gel TPU cases on my phones, but haven't found any made for the N6.
EDIT: easy in and out from pocket.
Thanks guys for your suggestions. I think I'm going to go with the slick wraps full body because it does not add any bulk and provide some protection.

I dont have the caseology, but from the images I can agree, sans dimple. It's a good thing being at 1/3rd the price. I went ahead and bought green and black as well. It is so far my fave case.
I'll add, you know the form, shape that the phone has, makes it fit well in the hand and really gives it that unique feeling that it is a much smaller phone. This case INSTEN keeps that feeling intact..

Agreed. Fairly protective without being too bulky. Good grip too.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a case that preserves the top heaviness and dramatic tapering of thickness at the bottom of the phone? Basically I'm as concerned about drop protection as preserving the original "feel" of the phone.
Has anyone found an ultra thin case like a Calicase or Peel?
so far i can't find one. i loved the offical LG case for the nexus 5x. it was basically a cover for the back and had cutout on the bottom. all i want is to protect the back from scuffs. don't need a big case.
I'm holding out for the Ringke Slim to come out for the Pixel. It's been a perfect slim case for my old Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, and then the 6P.
I'll be using the Pleson TPU case in the mean time.

Good case option from Amazon
If you need a quick case at a good price, try this one out. I ordered it in advance. It isn't that special but does the basics. I think it is slim, but not ultra slim. Check it out until more cases hit the market. Different colors and styles are available.

what you guys are listing and talking about are thin cases, OP is looking for ultra thin cases, like the orzly flexslim series:

I hoping they will come out with one for the pixel too, these are really just for scratch protection and will offer literally no drop protection, its similar to having a slim on your phone but more flexibility as you can just put it on and take it off easily.

i'm hoping to go with just a bumper case around the outer edge, because this phone is a beauty and i dont want to cover it up! that said, if i did get a full case and wanted to keep it relatively slim, i'm probably go with the diztronic matte slim case. i have one on my 5x, and it's been not only great at protecting on minor falls and bumps, but has held up extremely well over time. couldn't say enough about that case. looks like amazon currently has it available for purchase, but it's not shipping until 11/4.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's actually exactly the case I have on right now. What I meant was a case with open top, open bottom and open buttons. But not clear.
There seems ot be some confusion on what an "Ultra thin" case actually is. let me help you guys better understand this, and why android people want huge clunky cases baffles me, but coming from a lifetime of androids, then switching to a 6s, and having a fantastic case experience... this is annoying.
This is an ultra thin case:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JH87ZSQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Notice the use of factory buttons, it does not cover the bottom of the device, yet still wraps the corners so if dropped is protected. so far the closest I have found on amazon for my Pixel is this case from this thread:

Which I ordered, and will arrive Thursday.
If there are plastic buttons that cover up the factor buttons that stick out of the case, it's safe to assume it's not an ultra thin case.
Just got that one by Maxboost and I can confirm its definitely the thinnest "case" out there right now. It's definitely a shell more than a case, and it's a bit slick, but overall I think I'm gonna stick with it. I used some fine steel wool to give it some grip, and it feels better IMO.

Notice the use of factory buttons, it does not cover the bottom of the device, yet still wraps the corners so if dropped is protected. so far the closest I have found on amazon for my Pixel is this case from this thread:

Bingo bingo. People don't seem to get it. I settled for the maxboost also but it looks like decent space between the camera and the case worrying me. Calicase and peel are the leaders IMHO in this thin case space. Just no love for the pixel.

Thanks for confirming. I was hoping for the ultra thin tpu. Can you add some pictures of it after the wool treatment?
After over a year of protection my Spigen case succumbed to the many drops. I loved the case. Didn't add any bulk to the phone and protected it enough for my use. Now that I need a replacement I can't find it (in Black). Found a clear one but IIRC it's a little slippery to grasp.
What cases are out there that are comparable to the thin fit? I'm using a TPU case in the meantime and I don't like it at all..
Check out the Ringke Fusion.
Dunno if it's still availabke though.

if you're not completely concerned with full edge coverage, this OEM case is pretty great; hefty, grips well, and seems to be quality materials. got two myself (one for my DD and one for my backup Shamu) to replace my 3-year-old Spigen (which was incredible, though the back started ::finally:: separating), and have been really enjoying it for a couple weeks; kickstand works great and clip/holster is mighty fine (though I don't use the clip/holster at all really). it's on the lowlow because, as you may be well aware of, Shamu hit its life expectancy for general consumers long ago.
no drops yet, so nothing to report on that vein ... :fingers-crossed:
