I know many developers think AOSP roms are better than tw roms
What do u guys think?
Which one is better?
Member, XDA Assist is not the place for such questions. Please read the stickies at the top of the forum before you post in a section.
XDA Assist is to help guide members to navigate the site, not for this type of question you posted.
I am moving this to Android Q&A
Related
Is this the proper Q&A Thread? The reason I ask is because I see alot of noobs asking questions over in the Developer's section without reading the Bible. Also my second question leads to Where are the moderators? Yes Im Trollin.
Come on man. .
-1 dude he's just wasting peoples time

Hey its called a human.
Everyone who registers doesn't know there's a Bible.
They join to ask questions because their phones are messing up.
You did this before when you were new.
Leave them alone and the word noob is over used.
Mods don't do anything because if they just wanted to read the damn Bible they wouldn't post questions
There's a q&a section and that's what people are doing
Jerk.

Where are all the stock rom`s from the android development forum?i was following the pro/contra opinion for the ICS and waiting to flash it on my Xperia S,but now i don`t find the thread where were the discussions about the ICS Stock!anyone can help me pls?
You could have found that with a click on the search button and type what you need rather than creating an thread for that.
Also, other than Livesquares tip to learn how to use a forum...
when posting a question, actually post it as a subject....as "Hey?!?!?!!?" isn't a question, just an obnoxious title that will make people ignore your post.
Lessons in xda forum.....
Learning the hard way

Hello?!?!?!!?
Me luv you long time!
And beside that - Try scearch, or atleast make a headline that sonce scream "im 13 years old" reallt dont encurage people to help with your question.
A big +1 to all of the above,
About your quistion : iron fist says : if you did not create it, it does not belong in def section.
Since stock roms are not created by members they have been moved to general section,
Happy flashing

sorry
but what is the right forum?
Hi. The questions and answers section would be the best place for your post. And honestly there is no best rom. It would be rude to say one was better than another.
I say try three or four of them or all of them if you have time.
You should ask a mod to relocate this but likely someone already has.
I know whats its like to not know lol so no worries. But this is the development thread and nothing belongs here unless you created it.
Enjoy the flashing and remember to read before you flash.

Thread moved.
Please remember that the development section is only for threads on development.
Thread closed.
We also typically do not allow "best rom" threads because there is no one answer in most cases. Many users will have different views on this and it will often spark a pointless debate.
My suggestion to you is to make a backup and try a few ROMs for yourself.
Thank you
Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. I have the Verizon S4 rooted and would like to reply to some threads but only certain threads allow replies. Could somebody explain how this works? Thanks
I think you need tonl spend some time communicating in the other forums before you can use the dev forums. Maybe 25 posts or something. I forget. Its been a while

Before you can post in development section such as those for ROM's and other MOD's you will need to have at least 10 posts, I would highly recommend taking a look at this guide on the 10 post rule and the forum rules. If have any other questions let me know I'll be more then happy to help you out .
Okay thanks for the help
And also read rule 15 about where to post
Questions and help issues go in Q&A and Help section

Usually posting in the guide threads will help, also, it would help when it comes time to root and flash roms to read those.
Yes I have been on for two Yeats but can't post in the Dev forums yet....

that last post should have said two years. And this one should now allow me the ability to post in the dev fourmns......

I think they probably would mind. Support is also best handled here by the creators of such work.

Not only is against xda policy, its definitely not a good idea. The Q & A subsections are here for a reason. As for posting download links you will get banned from xda, and you can forget about asking devs for permission because they wont (and cant.) You can freely blog about what roms you like, their features, etc.. but you must only provide links to their xda location. Even if you developed a rom yourself and posted it on xda you would still be required to abide by these rules. Honestly you should shut down the Q & A section of your blog asap and post a direct link to the Q & A section here instead.
well i was just wondering
