Please can any one can help me? My phone has no signal.
I bought a secondhand sky vega iron IM-870 in a buy and sell site. I didnt check the item because i dont have a micro simcard.
when i got home i bought a micro sim and insert it and it has no signal i tried to borrow my brothers micro sim and it doesnt work too.
i tried to flash the official rom in the official site of sky vega but still got no luck in it, i got into a Vietnamese site and bump into a official rom kitkat with no bloatwares, i flash it in my phone via CWM then flash the modem.zip file(actually there is 3 modem.zip file it depends on the phone version.. it has K,L and S version i think it is the baseband file) and it works. the problem is when after irestart the phone it goes back to no signal.
I found out a solution in this, I will flash a modem.zip via CWM that supposed to be for IM-870K then restart after the boot i will restart via recovery again then i will flash a modem.zip that the version is for my phone(IM-870L) and it will have a signal. But it annoys me because i need to do it everytime my phone turns off. and by the way i saw that my IMEI when i press #*06# the value flashing is "0" but my phone is connected to network and when i restart it, there will be a value of IMEI but no signal.
I check the back of the battery and the IMEI in the back of the battery and in the phone settings has different value. Maybe the phone has gone tru parts replacement thats why it has different IMEI.
I also have an idea that thats the reason why i cant register to any network.
Anyone out there that can help me change my IMEI so they will be synchronize?

hello good night. i am writing from Portugal and the problem is this. i made an OTA update do the S222 row Kitkat and all went well. the phone boots normally and works well without the SIM cards. after i put the SIM cards the problem begun. the phone does not recognize the SIM cards and it pops up continually a message on the screen "com.android as stoped" whitch make virtually impossible to work with the phone.
i read that it might be a problem with the modem, could you tell me the best way to solve this situation ? can i flash only the modem with the recovery , and for portugal what would be the proper modem to flash ? 2G network work with 900/1800 and 3G with 2100
i saw the topic of stympy, and the diferent modems that he shows.
could you help me please, i would like to try kitkat but at the moment it is impossible for the reasons that i explained

First you must root your phone and install custom recovery TWRP.

hello. for now still no sucess, the message "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" keeps pop up, i tried several modems and none of them work. i will go on trying and them i will give feed back. thanks for the help
hello, maybe could you help me. i returned to the previous version that i had, installed, which is version X-viberom by xakep. the baseband version for that rom is the V52, which i presume is for chinese version. i think that the x-Viberom as chinese version for base.
with that baseband i never had any problem with the SIM cards, the two work without any problem .
the question that i would like you to help me is the following: with that baseband V52 i have to install a chinese rom or is it possible to install that modem over a ROW version ?

hello. i already solve the problem, and after all it was so easy. i disable automatic date and time and automatic time zone and went to apps, phone and then i perfomr clear data and voila, the phone works perfect. thank you for all

I have Lenovo P780 with 4GB ROW.
I have tried to install lot of different custom roms through different methods. I have lost the IMEIs, and I have installed MIUI via SP flash tooll . IMEIs also gone, but after that I have restored very old backup of nvram only (done via other version of twrp)
IMEIs gone back. Right. But from both cards first (SIM1) I have very strange problems as I live in big city.
The phone very long looking for GSM signal, after that It looses signal frequently. The second SIM (SIM2)has the signal very rarely.
When I am going through the city centre the signal on SIM2 was very poor, rather there wasnt any it.
On the first SIM I have porblems with normal calling, but is better than SIM2.
I have tried different radios, all via install via TWRP. That not helps.
I suppose that I have probelm with baseband, kernel or maybe IMSI ?
PLease help me, I havent any other phone which would be as best as that one.

So by a stupid mistake I have selected in *#*#4636#*#* the Radio Band to USA. The signal suddenly dropped and it stopped working at all, the nework does not connect except in 4G and only for data. Calls and text are not working, only 4G data works fine. This is on the sim1 though. On sim2 all is ok (except that with the X829 ROM, on sim2 I have no data, and on sim1 I have no calls )) ). I was on sim1 when I've changed the Radio Band, so I guess that only this one got affected since sim2 is working properly.
Is there any Radio Band files that I can restore? Or some app that can restore the settings of the modem?
Any help is highly appreciated.
PS: Reinstalling the ROM (clean or dirty) doesn't help. Factory resetting also doesn't help. I would downgrade to 014s but I'm afraid not to end up with a brick.

If i were you. I would change the rom from china to indian rom. It would help you. The radio band of chinese rom and the indian rom is different. It would replace the radio band of chinese rom and if it doesn't work. Then return to the chinese rom

I did the same thing by my mistake.And my le max 2 also became not able to connect internet. In my case, it can't connect both 4G and 3G .
But I fixed it. But I don't know that it get back to the original completely.
I'm japanese.And I'm sorry for that my English skil is very poor.
My current rom is Le2_X820-MAX_ROW-5.8.015S_V29_CUOCO92.
I used DFS CDMA TOOL and checked the items on the "Band Preferred" same as "RF BC Config".
1. download HTC Diag Driver. You have to customize .inf file later.
2. conect device to your windows pc and choose MTP and USB Debugging.
3. enter the follows command.
"adb shell"
"su"
"setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb"
When you enter this command, your device change over diag mode.
4. diag driver install.
You have to find hardwawer ID from device manager.
And replace the hardware ID in .inf file.
5. If you install diag driver correctly, you will be able to use DFS CDMA TOOL.
sorry, I can't explain any more..English is difficult...
I bought my phone from china and I'm in US, and it works perfect on stock with LTE enabled for AT&T by default. Might I ask why did you change it to US band and it stopped working? It would still work right?

Many thanks for the advice but it didn't help. I had installed the indian rom and then to the chinese without any change in the behavior of the modem. I'll try the chatmonchy's advice to see if there will be any improvement.

Actually I'm in Europe and looks like we use slightly different bands (??). I get 4G data but without calls. To other networks like 2G and 3G it connects sometimes but it's for few seconds only. I even don't remember what made me change the bands to USA, I guess I was curios what settings those were. The options are "USA band" and "Band 6", neither one is working well for my device. And strangely though, there is no other option to go back like "Auto" or something. It seems that I'm not the only one that did it. After a google search, it turned out that a lot of people had the same issue. For some, the factory reset helped, for others was flashing via TWRP the radio bands again.
I had solved the issue and I will post a guide later on for those who want to unlock additional bands or did the same mistake as I did.

Does not help. If I go to servise menu (dial *#*#4636#*#*) , I see Radio turned OFF and I can´t change it. How to solve this ?

I live in India. I bought Oppo F3 Plus (CPH1613) 4Gb Ram, 64GB Storage, Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 a year ago and was working too much fine. I was wondering about Qualcomm mobile secret codes and found this *#*#4636#*#* . I dialed this and accidentally changed radio band to USA band and suddnly on instant my mobile didn't get any network signal. From then, I went for Oppo care, and mobile repairing shops and self tried and tested for lots of time; but everyone unable to bring phone to normal. I reset my mobile, flashed stock rom for countless times, wiped all data but nothing helped me out. Finally i rooted my oppo f3 plus and tried to boot in fastboot mode; but Oppo removed bootloader and fastboot mode from 2016 (as posted in XDA). I got a little link about resetting USA band to automate and is erasing modemst1 and modemst2. But again it have to be performed from fastboot.
Help me out for my mobile.
You can flash a modem file, it will reset it as well. Changing the ROM won't update the modem configuration. Try to search modem files and flash them via TWRP.
Hi, I downloaded and installed Lineage ROM, everything was working fine but I found that I was not able to send text messages (receiving messages was okay), I tried change values under test menu (*#*#4636#*#*) but problem persist.
I tried clean installation of new ROM (Aosp).
I tried install new firmware from:

And finally, text messages are OK, unfortunately I am not able connect to 4G/ LTE networks now. Only 2G and 3G networks are working. LTE services were working without problem on original Miui and Lineage ROM.

Unfortunately LTE is not working on this ROM (Omni) for me too, but I expected it, because as I wrote I tried original MIUI as well. It's problem of wrong firmware, baseband, modem or something, because hard reset or flashing new rom don't fix it. Btw, this morning I was in big city in my country and my phone was able connect to LTE, but it was 1800 or 2100 MHz, which are available only in bigger cities. When I came back to home, it showing only H+ again. It seems my phone is not able to connect only to LTE on 800 MHz (B20) currently, which is most widespread LTE frequency in my country and this one is only available one in my location. And I was able connect to this network before. Unfortunately I don't know how I can bring it back.
Solved.
My friend share her .xqcn file with me (she has same phone) so I flashed modem file via QPST Flash Tool to my device. Xiaomi started receiving LTE in my location- B20 frequency band, unfortunatelly it was continuously connecting and disconnecting between "no signal" and 4G.
The next step was flash MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.8.9 to my phone via Miflash. LTE seems be stable and fully working now.
