I have a gs4 and want to put carbon rom on it, I have the latest version of everything to install but I keep running into the same issue.
I cannot get TWRP or Clockwork mod to work, all it does it break my recovery mode and I have to go to the samsung guy at bestbuy to flash it.
It is rooted.
Any alternative ways would be fine too, I just want to run carbon and need to fix it soon.

You can use xposed framework or flash custom rom via odin

Can you link a tutorial for using Odin to flash the Rom.
I used Odin to flash the CWM (I tried with TWRP also) and the app itself.

So I found out the problem, 4.4.4 does not support custom recoveries, I will revert to 4.4.2 and try it out.

I made a mistake, not backing up rom.My Max is Chinese dual sim T6dug, and it's not booting as I flashed a wrong one.
I request, some one can post nandroid back up or a simple custom rom, so that I can boot it.

what recovery can support 4.4.2 for i9100g,i have flash PhilZ Touch Recovery 6.19.3 but him no change
Use CWM recovey and use blazing kernel v16

Oh 1 question...is it essential to install fix recovery file after flashing 6.0.3.7 version
Is it also important to flash fixrecoverycombo.zip as many guys threading about this...
If u can't boot into recovery by hardware key combo then flash fix recovery combo.zip or else no need...

Install was successfull via cwm...bt after the installation power key won't working...n showing no file contexts bellow the screen...what is the problem...?..
