Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screen / LCD for my LG G Pad 10.1 (v700) ?
I have been searching everyone and can't find them.
Screen Replacement
I would love to find an option as well, but no luck. It's ridiculous, you'd think at least one wholesaler would have a stock of these to sell. I found one European site claiming to have these, but cost was over $200. No thanks...
Best of luck and I'll be following this page for any news.
You can browsing the Ebay, there are many kinds of screen protector of LG G Pad 10.1 (v700).
Any luck finding that screen replacement? I'm looking for one now...

I saw someone with one of those Ainol Nova 7 over the weekend and I must say unlike some other cheap tabs I have used this thing looked as good as a Galaxy Tab.
I see they have a Mars 7 out for 90 bucks and it sounds good and all but you never know these things. I ended up on this website that was selling a bunch of Chinese tablets.
Are there any good cheap tablets, or should I just get a Nexus 7?
Haipai i9200 Noble
You may want to consider a Haipai i9200 or its brand new cousin the Haipai x710d. The Haipai was released earlier this year as 5.2" smartphone with a MTK6575 chip that IMHO combines the best worlds of being big enough to use as a tablet but small enough to fit in my front pants pocket. The x710d is supposedly a dual core with two MTK6577 chips.
The Haipai i9200 is a Samsung clone and has fairly good performance scores of 3200 or better on the Antutu benchmark app. We have a thread here on xda:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646544
and were released with android 4.03. We are now up 4.06 with 4.09 on the horizon, English CWM recovery and ROM support through our vendors and a site known as unclemobile in Taiwan.
Google either Haipai i9200 or Haipai x710d and see their stats on whatever seller's site comes up. You should be able to buy the former at around $180USD and the latter at $195USD.

I am looking for a 7" tablet not a 5.3" phone. Well preferably bigger than 7" but whatever is the best out there. Archos 97 Carbon looks nice and I love the aspect ratio but that is in the $200 range.
Take a good look at Ainol

I've been using an Ainol Novo 7 Elf for about 4 months. It's pretty decent. I recently put Cyanogenmod 9 for the AllWinner10 devices on it and am satisfied with it's performance. If I had it all to do over again, I would make sure that I got a tab with an IPS screen, like the Aurora. I really like the HDMI-out. I don't know about the "Other" Chinese manufacturers, but Ainol showed up first with a working version of ICS at some trade show a while back. I think you can still get them at merimobiles.com for $120.
Sorry to bring this thread up from the dead.
Theres a ton of these out there going dirt cheap ! I had one a few years back and it was crap lol the build quality was awful
BUT........ Now, several years later, They look amazing, Ive watched several videos and read tons of reviews and they seem like a great budget tablet.
Ive also been interest in the Ainol 7 - Anyone else around XDA got one ? If so, Whats it like in terms of getting it rooted and getting some sort of update / custom ROM ?
The only thing about the Ainol is its name Especially when someone sees me googling 'How to root my anal"
Please if this thread gets noticed share your views. Is it worth the money ? or is it better to buy the real deal ?

I'd be cautious of the Sanei brand. Youtube reviews and most forums are praising their new Quad-core N10 (AKA - Ampe A10). I ordered 2 from DHGate.com. Mine is okay. My buddy got a lemon. His died day 1, wouldn't even boot for a couple of days on the charger, then died again after a week.
Pros: 10.1" 1280x800 IPS screen, Wicked fast browsing, good video playback, great picture quality, Android 4.0.4
Cons: Battery (seems like there's just a picture of one, or an implied battery, definitely not the 8000mah advertised), battery life (3-4 hours, when it wants), battery meter (99%...wait94%...wait...82%...you get the picture), wifi is hella-weak (always dropping signal), limited apps available ("for this device"), 4.0.3(update immediately after unboxing)
Basically, worth the $200 paid. You have to have patience and a willingness to root it and dink around with it, as per forum discussions.
I am looking for an around 6inch phone that runs CM.
The HTC One max is now sold on Amazon.de for around 380€.
Are there any issues with this phone that I should be aware of ? Especially issues with running Cyanogenmod on this phone ?
Would you recommend it to me?
I spent around an hour looking up reviews and going thru xda, but I could not find any obvious dealbreakers.
Any comments or input appreciated.
Thanks
I had some other phones on my list.
But the nexus6 is about 300€ more expensive and has a worse battery life.
The Xperia Z Ultra lacks a flash (really Sony ?).
The Oppo N1 is 100€ more expensive and does not seem offer more.
And about the armada of 5.5inch phones: I am not sure. I kinda want to use it as tablet replacement, too. So bigger is better for me.
U should be fine with this if u are planning to use it for endless media consumption.
The camera sucks or atleast the front camera. I'd go with the note
i would go for meiziu mx4 pro
why not to buy htc one max?
- bad camera
- no viper rom updates
- for sure no android 6 or before version updates ( i think last will be 5.0.2 )
- 2-3x expensive cases - protectors
- if you crash your screen you need to pay %70 of phone's cost for replace

I would wait for HTC One M9 Plus, that's what I'm upgrading to from my M8 when it comes out.
It clearly not a good sign that so many here recommend me another phone. Thanks to all of you for your comments.
The only other phone I consider is the Nexus6. I kinda want an 6inch phone. As I currently dont own a tablet, but I need something to confortable surf and read.
But the Nexus6's battery life ? Reports are quite horrible, combinded with a price tag that would give a sour feeling in the stomach, if I would it replace it before 2 or 3 years of usage. Ehhh...... and the battery life wont be better after 2 years (((

I love my HTC One Max. The camera works fine for what I use it for. The screen is a nice size, the speakers are good quality. If you're worried about a case, buy one on Amazon. I got my Trident case for a little over $10US, & I have a glass screen protector over it. I think you'll be fine with this phone. And the HTC One Plus is a disappointment. It's screen is size is only 5.2 inches. With the exception of not being able to get real cool cases like Carbon Fiber ones, I have no real complaints with this phone.
Hi
Do these phones all use the same screen/digitizer ? I dropped my 2x the other day and the official repair people want £88 to fix it. I'm trying to find replacement parts so was wondering if I cound some for the swif 2/+ owould they be the same as the ones on the 2x ?
Does anyone know any uk repairers who can do repairs ?
I need a screen for a 2+, some of the Chinese sites have the original swift screens for about £25.
My hope is in a few months they start getting swift 2 screens in and then I can get it swapped.

2 and 2+ use 5" 720p screens. 2X uses 5.2" 1080p.
Hey guys,
Got the oppo find X just yesterday. I got a good deal k believe. I exchanged my Vivo nex for the find X at no extra cost. So far really like the phone. But as always this one too comes with the same challenges we have with other curved phones. Now coming to the first and foremost, did anyone of you find a good screen guard? And secondly obviously any good case? Looked on amazon and Flipkart but there are hardly any reviews on any of the products. so don't know what to buy. Any help is really appreciate!! Cheers.
Hi, though I like my Wileyfox Swift with LineageOS, there is one weak point: it's display! Thus I consider to buy a Wileyfox Swift 2X, which goes quite cheap at the moment.
Since however, I can't find any display-ratings @ Wileyfox Swift 2 Real Life Review, I'd be delighted, if somebody could advice me accordingly.
NB: Swift 2X only!
Thanks!
If you need a camera phone, there are better choices. If you want a solid quality with still decent specs you can go with 2X. Another flaw is official Android without updates, only CR or LOS.

I bought one because of the price when I broke a screen on my Asus. Actually it was kind of just about worth it December 2019.
The screen is OK. The phone I broke the screen of was a Asus max m1. Wileyfox 2x plus does not feel as good to look at. I am sure that you can find something better for the price.
No updates (latest roms are android 9) and lack of 5ghz WiFi is not worth it.
There is one android 10 rom but I haven't touched it sins finger print does not work yet on it.
As I was browsing phones the other day Motorola have better alternatives for the same price. But its up to you.
I would not buy one today.
I was looking at other phones like Lenovo P2 (p2a42) and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 mainly because they have official LineageOS support, If you like LineageOS then these 2 are fine alternatives with big battery and decent specs.
I feel I should have gone for the Lenovo, I like amoled screens and I found some in good working conditions back then for a good price.
I've bought the Wileyfox Swift 2 X because like you I had a Wileyfox Swift before but no, it aint worth it.
The display sure aint anything fancy on the Swift 2 X, 1080p but the screen is alot warmer than the Swifts and I don't like that.
In the LineageOS 16.0 rom I could tune the colors of the screen more to my liking in the settings and I spent more than an hour to find a good tone and with balanced colors. This is something I didn't have to do when I updated to the latest stock rom and later installed crDroid 5.12 I've noticed but.. I've seen fancier screens allright.
Yea it's all up to you but I say there are better alternatives if you look.
