jBart - MIUI v6 - MiNote Pro
Hello,
I am trying to decompile and compile rom for miui note pro Version: V6.6.4.0.LXHCNCF (MIUI6)downloaded from miui site with jBart.
But even when I just decompile and compile apks, so few of them end up with error. First I had problem with resource folders which contains mcc9999 in their names, after I removed those folders I was able to compile without errors more apks. I have tried to search for a solution of those problems but I couldnt find it.
(I use the newest version from github)
But according to log I am still unable to compile those apks:
Code:
.....
[24.07.2015 23:45:21] I: ******** All files compiled ********

Someone solved this problem? Or any workaround how could I translate this rom? Before jBart I tried everything manualy but I had similar problems and could not overcome them.
Thanks for help! And sorry for my english
Seidak

Which miui version? Did u use latest jBart?

Version as I mentioned is ROM V6.6.4.0.LXHCNCF (MIUI6) and yes I use the latest version of jBart from GitHub.

How to decompile Miui V7 with godzila ui?

Flyme OS problem with jBART
jBart is really cool tool ;]
It would be great if you will make it possible to translate Flyme OS with it also (now I do it with single app decompilation ;p)

Hm, I have some small problem.
When I decompile and compile some files in Flyme OS 5.5.11.24 (without even making any changes) than the Overflow menu and dialogs doesn't work (app on phone stops running).
Does anyone have similar problem ?

This means that you computer can not find these files, either the library is not installed or your not linking to it.

Your JAVA is outdated, with newer version of java there are bug fixes and more library implemented/added. if the program you using is built on a newer version of java you may have issues building applications. also make sure you get the updated JDK <-development kit not the EE version
Head over HERE to get the update

solve the previous issues and this may resolve it's self. from the quick read i had it's telling you that you have an attribute but it does not call/use anything, making it unused code.
which i believe starts from this Warning
Code:
W: Skipping "android" package group
on a further read it skipped it, so it cant find it when trying to recompile
what helped me out was to make a backup of the framework file the app comes with and use the framework-res.apk from your rom
Code:
I: Loading resource table from file: C:\Users\user\apktool\framework\1-api16.apk
replace with your framework-res.apk
Although i di use FJ APKTools 2.4.
think of a resource identifier as a name of the pizza your want to buy.
Now the attribute is the pizza
so in English it say's, hey i want that pizza, but the shop says, sorry we dont have it

This is after I have installed the framework from both framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk and I am not sure exactly what the problem is, I have redownloaded apktool, run cmd as admin everything I can think of and I have the latest JDK installed.
Any help will be appreciated.
Hi Delsus...
Is there a lidroid framework apk in that ROM aswell?
I'm not too sure as I've never run it
There is a lidroid-res.apk, so I installed that but it's still not working, the output only shows it loading the resources from framework-res, this is the output before the failure messages
Code:
Baksmaling...
Loading resource table...
Loaded.
Decoding AndroidManifest.xml with resources...
Loading resource table from file: C:\Users\Mike\apktool\framework\1.apk
Loaded.
Regular manifest package...
Decoding file-resources...
Framework-res.apk was installed to 1.apk, twframework to 2.apk and lidroid to 5.apk.
hmmm, not too sure.
have you got the latest apktool?
maybe have a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1755243 (if you haven't already)..

I didn't see anything in there that would help, I might just see what else I can flash, it's some things in the purelook systemui apk tool can't understand. I managed to decompile a CM systemUI with no problems.
It could even be linked to JKay's framework mods that are included in the rom (I would make my changes with deluxe setting but certain things prevent me buying it just now.)
If you're just changing png's you could do it with vrtheme.
See if you can decompile the apks from stock MB5???
Although, saying that, it might not be relevant depending on what's jkays mod affects.
Hmm... I'll download the ROM tomorrow and see if I have any joy...

The problem is the 9patch images
They haven't been recompiled properly
Find the rogue images, fix the 9patch and recompile

Thanks for that info but I think I'll just theme Ultima with xperia z things seems like it will be a lot easier, all I want is xperia z looks with a transparent status bar, without having to use deluxe settings lol.
And thanks for everyone who helped find where the problem is

@PRAKASHPANDEY193 have you tried installing semcgenericuxpres.apk too?
if not the add these lines to apktool
Code:
apktool if [I]framework-res.apk[/I]
apktool if [I]semcgenericuxpres.apk[/I]
and then decompile your lockscreen
Code:
apktool d [I]lockscreen.apk[/I]
this will pretty muck solve your error

I understand that the styles are missing, but he, I'm recompiling it, so shouldn't they be there!?
I assume I'm missing an .apk file which I have to include, but I don't quite get which one, or wether it's caused by aapt or the apk's..
as this is my first apk editing, I'd thought I could ask for help around here.
Regards!
Make sure you're using both of the frameworks...
eg...
apktool if framework-res.apk
apktool if twframework-res.apk
and try again....
EDIT - Just realised you're trying to decompile & recompile AOSP/CM SystemUI. Ignore my comment above....
EDIT2 - Ive had a look into it and the styles that are showing as missing should be in SystemUI\res\values-sw720dp\styles.xml
Are you using the latest apktool/aapt from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1755243
I've just successfully decompiled/recompiled the SystemUI from Slim 4.3.
Hope this helps...

I'm recompiling the SystemUI.apk of sammy's original 4.3, and there is no values-sw720dp directory in /res as I can see..
I just updated apktool and aapt using the given links, but the problem still occurs.. ( the exact same )
Thanks for trying to help me out!
(
AAPT.exe crc32 = 0x3D99FA82
APKTOOL.jar crc32 = 0xF4E84FE0
)
EDIT:
I added them manually from the android sdk.. compiling fine now, but I still don't understand why it was missing

No problem.
Have a look at this post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46773564&postcount=2124
It looks like the same problem you're having.

Out of interest, can you tell me how you found the styles in the SDK?
I've got the IDE/SDK installed but can't work it out
