Holla , i tried to port a ROM and it actually "Half" booting.
it boots into the Bootanimation and then stuck there , i ported Flyme 4 from XPERIA Z to Nexus 4.
The major issue is that I CANT ACCESS LOGCAT.
it says my device isn't authorised when i type adb devices
how do i "authorise" without the authorising dialog?

Hello guys. I am learning developmental things, i am experimenting with my phone to learn new things. I am learning a lot from searching but certain things i think i dont know the proper keyword to use. I ve been stuck without the answer for a long time. So i thought i would ask here
I had motorola defy before my xperia z. Defy had something called bootmenu which let me switch on adb while booting a ROM. Now i have xperia z, its bootloader unlocked, a rom cooked by my own which is in bootloop. It doesnt have bootmenu to do like i did for defy. How do i switch on adb from the phone's side? I have setup adb perfectly on my computer.
My ROM goes into bootanimation but adb doesnt seem to be switched on in the phone' side.
when i type "adb logcat log" it is stuck at "waiting for device " while the bootanimation goes on into bootloop
i will answer this myself
1. There is always no problem with your phone if the device has got past the bootlogo and entered the boot animation
2. If adb doesnt detect the device,use latest adb from sdk tools
3.If it says unauthorized/offline then enable access to the computer or disable adb secure
well, i was clean installing Xperia STE CM 11 pepper ROM. I was already using the same earlier , but wanted to do a fresh install
Anyways, i entered TWRP, and Advanced WIPE everything , including sd-card, Android Secure , data, system , cache & alll .
well , then i thought after rebooting i would just flash the ROM. ZIP as usual, but my phone is now stuch at SONY logo, and i am unable to enter TWRP.
So i tried to fastboot boot.img , and it was successful , but still when i try to flash directly the ROM.zip , using
fastboot flash zip <rom.zip>
it sends , but then returns with an error
FAILURE <remote : Partition not found>

this returns me with error " daemon not running, starting it now on port 5037"
I also cant use ADB properly , my device isn't listed when i command adb devices
error : device not found.
( however lter on while doing the same via Flashtool , it does clarifies the reason that USB Debugging is turned off..so maybe that's why ADB is not working)
My laptop has win 7 , i double checked that i have all the necessary ADB and device specific usb drivers, and Under DEVICE MAnager Tab ,
so please tell me how to solve this...Android ADB Composote device is listed working properly.

and it worked , i mean i was able to enter CWM and navigate properly there, but i dont want to run stock firmware ICS again.
(also there i Explored my Internal SD Card , and it's completely empty)
So then i again flashed the boot.img from http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/sola-development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-t2743059 [ROM] [UB] [XperiaSTE] CyanogenMod 11
And well , the result is yet the same, my phone boots up and stays at SONY Logo, no LEDs flashing changing colors as it did earlier, and i cant enter TWRP , Neither can't i flash cm.11.0-12-pepper.zip via fastboot, it returns with error regarding messed up partitions.
also , i tried to explore/open Decompile the provided "boot.img" with PowerISo , ImgBurn , etc. and each says that the file is either damaged or corrupted.
MAYBE , that's the reason why me & many others aren't able to boot into recovery, there is something wrong with the boot.img of this rom , however i will try flashing Other ROM's Boot.img tomorrow.
I urge the developers to please look into that as you are our only saviors.
So my Questions now are
1. what should i do get a working CM 11 kk ROM for my device ?
2. Is my device Bricked ( because i am doubtful on that one, as i can connect it in fastboot as well as flashmode) ?
3. How to Create/repair the partitions , that CMD says are euther damaged or not found ?
4.Will flashing my stock firmware 6.1....54 , via FLashtool , solve all this & by solving i mean getting CM11 to work again . ?

Try to use Xperia Sola AOSX ROM boot.img, then install cm11.

I was upgrading the current Stock rom on my ZTE Nubia Z5s Mini, I went through the recovery mode to load the new rom and got a message saying that the rom installed correctly, I rebooted the device and now its stuck at the MIUI logo or if I try to load the recovery mode I get the Nubia logo just to load back to the miui logo again. I got the rom from the MIUI site its v5.
I've left the phone for over an hour hoping it was just loading up but no change, the phone heats up and even has a charger screen when plugged in.
Anyway to get back into the recovery mode to load the original rom again or any other way of fixing this? help :crying:

I'm trying to flush the rom by using adb but with an issue, even thou my device is recognized as Nubia Z5s Mini in device manager it still gives a driver error "these have been installed" and in cmd adb it does not see the device.
Update : Got drivers for install from Clockwordmod website but it will only accept the drivers if I set the phone as a modem in device manager when installing them, still not recognized by adb using CMD.
Solved driver issue and qusb_download issue, ADB drivers are done through all drives in device manager pointing to the Google USB drivers and select adb interface then run CMD from within the Google SDK program folder in platform-tools to read the device.
Now using emmc but need to generate EMMCBLD.HEX & 7x30_msimage.mbn if anyone can help, I can enter adb using recovery mode but blocked from making changes in fastboot mode, currently in download mode which can see a drive H but need the two files to proceed any further.

I want to port MIUI ROM on SAMSUNG i9301i phone. On base ROM i used cm11 (by Rox) and i have ported ROM. But when i flash it via CWM recovery and i want to turn on system it stuck on MI Boot Animation ( after Samsung logo )
And my question is how can I get phone boot logs? when I want to use ADB after write command : adb devices it don't show devices or it show unauthorized -,- I don't have enabled USB Debugging in system. I can't do it becouse phone stucks on boot animation :/
ok i got moto g xt1039 rooted working on android 5.1 lollipop (official from motorola) without custom recovery. and today i was instaling theme for layers app before reboot i tap cancel ( i wouldn't do that) then moto reboot when she booted up i saw only black screen. i boot phone in fastboot but my pc cant find it ( idk how but it lost all drivers) any official moto drivers wont work so i used universaladbdriver then when i went into recovery and choose apply update from adb pc found it so i tryied to instal it but when uploading files reach 47% it stop and saying somthig like it cant verify files same thing is when im instaling from sd card
can anybody help to fix it?
