Hi guys,
I'm trying to get a perfect weather + clock/alarm widget for me. I've been using Fancy Widget for a while, it works fine for me (I can see weather info, I can see time, I can see when the next alarm rings), except there's no direct access to Alarm for it brings me to clock setting instead (and I need another tap to go to alarm).
I've looked at Beautiful Widget, but a bit hesitant to buy it due to some battery drain comments. Does Beautiful Widget drains battery significantly on Arcs? Can it access alarm directly from the widget?
Thank you In Advance.
Give GO Weather a go (pun very much intended) ... Been using it & it's quietly elegant.

Hmm... I still can't go to alarm directly from the widget. Or will it always be like that until I install 3rd party alarm app?
I'm using beautiful widgets and having no issue at all with battery life. Very happy with it.

Can it access stock alarm directly like the stock clock widget when you tap it ?
If it's not possible, I probably would just stick with the fancy widget.
Your could do that in the past, (asigning whatever app you like to different areas of the beautifull widget)
i have not used it for 6 months thou.

Does use automatic Geolocation?
I'm currently running beautiful widget and i'm quite happy with it...
Best weather widget IMO is snowstorm. Small, elegant, customisable, skinnable. Updates based on location. Accurate forecasts.
Decent digital clocks are a problem, though - most of them are pretty ugly looking to me. Quite like the small sony one that's built-in, if only it opened the clock/alarm apps when you clicked it...
+1 for snowstorm
For the clock use "glass widgets" which will allow you to choose which app to launch once you have clicked it

Hey guys, just wondering what apps you're using to monitor your battery life/CPU states, etc? I came across BetterBatteryStats. Just wondering if that's the go to...or if there's something better?
Thanks in advance.
bad ass battery monitor

Battery Monitor Widget Pro by 3C
System Tuner Pro by 3C
Both are super informative and have very highly customizable widgets available.
Bad Ass Battery Monitor - Looks okay...not exactly established in the community with only 10-50k downloads and 400+ reviews though.
I've downloaded and installed Battery Monitor Widget (Free). May upgrade once I try it for a bit.
Any other suggestions?
I use CPU Spy for the cpu states, don't use anything for monitoring battery life though.
looking arround for a better battery widget, since atrics rom didnt have in it i've found an app that makes the 1% battery mod (in some way) available for us its pretty accurate i must say
here it is
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...nic&utm_term=play+store+battery+widget+reborn
inside the app there's and option to run the mod
sent from the gray stuff inside my skull
thanks
haha I've always hated that thing
I have tried it and use for more then 2 months, maybe the best battery widget on market.
exactly what i needed! thanks
Hi guys!
I have just got a Razr Maxx for its battery and i'd like to monitor it as I did in my DHD using Battery Monitor Widget or Current Widget, but i have noticed that anyone is showing the instant drain (in mA).
Do you know any other app to get this data?
Thanks in advance!!
Hy XDA-members out there,
I have an old HP touchpad (10,1 tablet) laying arround and I want to make it useful again.
So
Does anyone know an app which showes me the current time and the weather forecast of today/tomorow in clear big symbols?
Preferable with a black background so I can keep it turned on at night.
I don't need a widget.
Thank you very much
btw.
This old tablet running Android 6 is actually very impressiv in terms of battery life.
Without the google stuff I can get a sleeping time of over 2 months.
Battery is at 60% and it tells me "40 days left".
Absolutely impressiv.
