It appears that with Greenify xposed module, SlickDeals app is double notifying like shown in the screenshot.
Here's a link to the staff member for SlickDeals pointing out that Greenify Xposed module is to "blame"
Anyone have any ideas?
....
i dont understan it......
I also get double notifications with the Slickdeals app, even though it is not Greenified. This is the only app that has this issue.
Yep, me too. I tried disabling Greenify, and sure enough, the duplicate notifications went away. Very odd.
I know this is more than a year old but it is still doing the same thing today. Is there a workaround for Greenify + Slickdeals now? I'm still seeing double
I've been seeing double notifications from Amazon shopping app. Sounds like the same issue from Greenify since I have it Greenify'd.
Read my post in the beta thread. I supplied logcats for the double notification problem. As far as I know, it still hasn't been addressed. Basically what is happening (as far as I can tell) is if you have the xposed option set to allow GCM push for Greenified apps selected, you will get double notifications from any app that uses GCM push, regardless if said app is greenified or not.
I'm curious if this is the case here because I suspect it is. This bug has been mentioned multiple times and I am not sure if it is just slipping under the radar or what. It would be nice to have more people confirm this issue exists to draw more attention to it. There's a ton of more info in my original post here for anyone interested.

What are your thoughts? Has your market updated yet?
It look nice, but it has hidden one important feature from me: The ability to set whether apps auto-update or not!! Anyone know a way around this?
not yet.....
i keep checking it every 20 mins....

The auto-updating feature is fawkin' annoying, can I turn it off?
can you upload the apk please??
Sure can.
Lemme know if that works.
thank you so much!!!! you are the best!!!
Is this 2.2.6 or 2.2.7?
Sent from my Overclocked, FroYo'ed-up 2.2.1 EVO 4G
Not sure. The application manager says it's version 2002207. So... 2.2.7?
I didn't receive it, but after clearing the app cache I got it directly

Press on "My apps" and then the app you want to change settings for. Then deselect "Allow automatic updating" in the beginning of the white area.
I meant how to stop the market from auto-updating.
Edit: When I first got that update, the option to stop individual apps from auto-updating was missing. In a recent update it has returned, however.
But I still want the market to stop updating silently in the background. I'd rather it let me know than "SURPRISE! The market has updated against your will! So much for an open platform!"
Hi all, I don't know where these push notifications are coming from. But they pop up every day. Anyone know what company and/or program these are?

Ionno Wtf that is..
But, You can usually reply stop to have them stop.
Goto the market and get airpush detector and run it when you see that notice. It will show you the app associated with it so you can remove it.

You've installed an ad supported app. Install Addons Detector from the app store, leave it to monitor until you get another offending notification, for look through the list of notifications in Addons Detector and it will tell you what app caused it.

Hey guys,
I've got the S6 Edge and have recently noticed that occasionally a screen pops up indicating the charge status on the lock screen when I'm charging my phone. On the screen, it has a round and green charge meter. Under that it says which type of charge it currently is doing: speed, continuous, or trickle. Then there seems to be a big ad for installing Samung +. I had previously never seen it before. To my knowledge, I've never changed settings that would enable it. I'm currently trying to disable it, but I don't see the option to do so. Could it be associated with a specific app? Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I've got two screenshots of the indicator I'm talking about, but the system won't allow me to attach them until I have 10 posts.)
(I apologize if this topic has already been covered. I tried using the search function and was presented with mostly Quick Charge issues. If so, send me to that thread and I'll delete this one.)

My wife's phone (Moto G 2015) is having the same issue. No idea what it is and we've uninstalled a ton of aps already.
This started happening to me today and I've figured out from another forum that it's because I had a Go app installed. I had Go Weather installed which I've used for years because I like the widget. Unfortunately it gives no indication that it will alter the lock screen and there's no option to turn it off which I find unacceptable so I've had to uninstall it now.

Obviously it's extremely obnoxious to have this after every call, but th ability to disable it is grayed out. I'm rooted, so maybe there are options to disable it?
Never had this, but as with any notification, I believe it can be disabled by long tapping on the notification and changing the settings.

That's grayed out which is why I'm asking. It's a known issue across the internet, but I haven't seen anyone asking about root solutions.

com.google.android.feedback (Market Feedback Agent) is a Google app that allows other apps to call it and ask you to provide market feedback. Most likely this is what you meant, as there is no Google Feedback app on the P6. You cannot delete it since the system partition is read-only and cannot be made writeable. You probably cannot can disable it in Settings > Apps but will need or use an app like Titanium Backup or SDMaid (Pro I think) to freeze it.
I will freeze mine and run a test, editing this post after to post the result.
EDIT: Freezing the Market Feedback Agent makes no difference. Something tells me that this behavior, along with the inability to modify notifications in the phone app, is baked into the app itself.
Hi
Im the same guy who made this post a few months-
Now, Im trying to get rid some bloatware that aƱsp could be used in malicious way like _
Dex. An attacker could do whatever on the users laptop and the guy wont even notice. Settings is showing as dual app even tho ive never touched dual apps.. i guess this happens once you open dex for the first time
So, any simpl.istic way to compltetely get rid of DEX and Bixby Routines?
The elephant on the room here is that google assumes any random google account logged in that tablet. OWNs the tablet.
Ofc this could be done by having good google security passwords on the google account. Enforce tat!
Or ask us if we reeaaaalllly wanna execute those random rutines someone just sent to is throw wifi

Use a Package Disabler or adb edit to kill them.
I disable both.

I need to completely get rid of those normie features. Tell me which files I have to delete do it doesn't work at all.
This is what's on my N10+/Pie variant.
You might want to keep Bixby Vision though if you have it. Used for reading barcodes etc.
Not sure if it's dependent on any other Bixby apps.
