I used Better Battery Stats to figure out what has draining my battery like crazy. After 15 hours, this patial wakelock kept my phone up for nearly 6 hours!!! My phone is a LG P769V20D (Optimus L9), locked bootloader, and tweaked stock ROM. Almost fully debloated (kept gmail).
Is there an alternative fix to this? I froze Google Services Framework, but then the play store won't work until I defrost it. In addition, it causes the appearance of another wakelock called "Icing." It doesn't run as often as Event Log, but still runs a decent amount of time (~1 hour in less than 24 hours of battery discharge).
Any ideas?
Edit: I think I found a solution!!! Turns out that Xposed Installer has a nifty app called Per App Hacking. It enables the user to either prevent wakelocks or simply delay the rate at which the wakelocks occur. In my case, I prefer to delay since I do use Gmail, Maps and the Play Store. Thank goodness for Xposed!
Hello there,
I'm facing a strange wake lock issue with Google+. It's draining my battery really fast ! Using BBS, I can see a 1h40 wake partial lock associed to "fingerprint_scanner_static" module for the past day. It's part of Google+.
Using Disable service app, I recently desactivated Google+ "FingerprintScannerIntentService" service, but "fingerprint_scanner_static" wake lock is still there. Maybe this one is related to another service, but I don't know which one to desactivate to avoid battery drain issue.
Has someone an idea to solve my battery drain issue ? I already tried to uninstall/reinstall app.
I have same problem with this app.
I can solved it.
very simple, you can using Greenify for it. (need xposed.)
when greenify google+, you'll see this text: "state always ignored in hibernation."
launch menu, cancel the ignored.
Delete
No Google+ installed
Hello!
Starting some days ago, fingerprint_scanner_static drains my battery in a 6 or 7 hours even if I don't use the phone at all. And I don't have Google+ installed
Using DisableService app, I disabled FingerprintScannerIntentService from Google Play Services. But the problem persists. Any idea on how to solve this?
fingerprint_scanner_static kernel wakelock

Same here.
S3 running CM12.1-20150406-UNOFFICIAL-d2att.
Google+ not installed.
FingerprintScannerIntentService frozen using ROM Toolbox.
This kernel wakelock kept my phone awake for 1 hour and 42 minutes today. Single largest kernel wakelock by a long shot. Maybe I should install Google+ so I can Greenify it! Wouldn't that be a weird work-around?
For me, i unistalled this terrible app.
I have google+ app disabled and FingerprintScannerIntentService is disabled with DisableService too, but somedays this wakelock keep my phone awake all time. I haven't found a solution yet

Another update: I am back to KK 4.4.4 and still have this annoying wakelock not matter what I do (freeze G+, uninstalle it, use autorun or disableservice)
No other info can be found out there, so I think if no solution can be found here in xda, then there is no solution .

I have the same problem on a Galaxy Note 1. No Google+ and the FingerprintScannerIntentService is disabled.
In my case the wakelock is part of "GoogleServices". Restarting them stops the wakelock. So, no solution, but a workaround.
In case I find a solution, I will post it here.
I am having lots of issues (have had to reset it 3 times over the last 10 days!) with my Sony Z3 running KitKat, but I am posting here as I see this as a generic, non-Sony specific question.
I am rooted and use BetterBatteryStats and Wakelock detector to identify partial wakelocks. I have had to reset the phone 3 times over the last 10 days because of mysterious processes locking the CPU, draining the battery, overheating the phone, and also because the play store stopped working (always stuck at 'download pending').
My question is: I can use these (and other apps) to find the services which are causing wakelocks, battery drain, etc, but is there any way to find which apps invoked the services?
If I find that app X is misbehaving, well, I will try changing the settings of that app, or consider removing it. But if I find the battery drain is caused by, say, google’s location service, that’s not particularly useful because a number of different apps may have called it. Was it a wether app? A public transport app? Was it just Android going nuts? That piece of information is basically useless because it doesn’t tell me which app is the problem.
Thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone,
Just I've purchased this device I came across with the 'battery drain' problem. I've read and done all possible suggestions, like switch of location services, sync, disable wi-fi/bluetooth, etc. But that didn't help. After that rooted the device and installed TitaniumBackup, BestBatteryStat, WakeLock Detector.
TitaniumBackup: many services like Knox were disabled (I also found list of useless services, so I disabled a lot of them).
With BBS and WLD I've been measuring that is going wrong. Did anyone have the same problems? I can't public links to images here yet. I would appreciate if anybody know what the problem might be.
I'm facing a massive battery drain since yesterday because of Google Play Service and WhatsApp keep running in the background.
I tried to put Google Play Services to Doze Mode using Universal GMS Doze but didn't resolve it.
I noticed that both services are using 'accelerometer' and 'Significant Motion Detector' wakelock. See the screenshot.
Anyone knows how to fix this abomination?
Try restricting permission to those services

Do you use location-based phone unlocking or some relevant service? I believe only those things would use these features of the device that you specified. One quick way of reducing battery usage can be restricting permission of using those features to the services but then again, that would disable certain features. Also, try using Aggressive Doze in Greenify and add those system apps to it as if location access is granted to Google Play Services, it would certainly drain your battery even if your GPS is switched off.

I, indeed use location-based phone unlocking which is Smart Lock. I turned off that option and gonna see the results. Thanks for your tips.
